That was pretty cool! Really liked the mech choreography and the background BGM. Story was bit fast to follow through though.

It would be quite easy to make a fandub for this.

On a side-note, can anyone recommend me any sci-fi anime with a similar atmosphere or setting as the first few minutes of this short?

Wouldn't mind seeing this as a full-fledged series. As others have said, the character and mechanical designs were pretty appealing and the animation was pretty fluid yet detailed. The setting was interesting too.

That woman had massive tits tho, no wonder she walked bent so heavily forward

It was pretty boring, they stuffed way too much into those 7 minutes so it all got too convoluted and weird. The animation was pretty awesome though.

Neat animation (sound effects are pretty quick & dirty, though), but it's not even a trailer; it's the visual equivalent of a sketchpad filled with doodling and undirected brainstorming, and if anything it looks like it would be a pretty typical mecha series...not that interesting.

Well, I guess a visual sketchbook is OK to look at for a few minutes.

agreed.

Impressive animation, but this is a confusing trailer at best.

This needs to be a "thing". Movie, series, whatever. Make it happen!

Kinda weird with subs without dialogue. Great music. Great mecha action. Great story. Great visuals.

Very pretty, I liked the mecha designs but feels like they looks some scenes from a completed series and patched it together. Nothing really made sense, storywise.

Also it was weird to have subtitles but no actual voices. Felt like an AMV at times.
Still, I can't say I disliked it!

I'm not sure about a series, but it really would make a good movie.
In 9/10 cases, the worst thing about an anime is its fandom.

nice world
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."

One of my favorite episodes so far, I mean I don't understand whats going on but just the visuals alone was enough for me really lovely art style which we don't see in anime today at all and some really cool animation , I don't know if a series/movie from this would be good but there are definitely alot of good concepts here that I wouldn't mind seeing this into a series.

An obviously uncompleted project, with stunning animation nonetheless. I don't think there was enough in the seven minute timeframe to really get what's going on; I felt like I was watching clips of a movie out of context. I hope this short gets fully realized in the future.

That was really 80s.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was all that was left of some cancelled series.

That bit at the end though though, lmao the heart is imaginary. Now that sounds legitimately pretentious.

Cool visual design, but the oppai bullshit felt really out of place, especially when she had him "feel her heartbeat" (a.k.a. boobs)
Also, the lack of voice acting seemed pointless. Could they not get a few people in the booth for the handful of lines here?

Anyway, starting off the short with that ecchi shit really put me off of it right away... but the art was really impressive and drew me back in afterwards... combine both the good and the bad together and it overall makes it kind of a middling short. The parts I liked and disliked about it are pretty much diametrically opposed to each other.

Oh hi Dix-Neuf. Wait, no, that's not it. The short was kind of akin to Turn A Gundam if anything. Or was it RahXephon. Hard to tell.

I think there was supposed to be voices for this short, but I must have watched the one without them. As a result, I think it worked out even better. I don't think I could have understood what was going on to begin with, so simply enjoying the visuals and scene transitions featuring a number of visual metaphors was good enough for me. That aside, Ikuto Yamashita did the mech designs for Battle Fairy Yukikaze, and it shows through not just the cockpit scenes, but through the motion of the mechs moving through the air. Yukikaze had one of the better portrayals of flight I've seen in anime, and I'm glad to see that translates well to a mecha setting with giant beams and whatnot.

I didn't like it coz mecha's my least favorite genre (and there's a lot of mecha in this expo lel) but those titties and the soundtrack saved me from boredom for the most part.

All hail those giant knockers~!

Dat lovely swinging oppai.
Dat lovely body! LAWD JESUS! DAT OPPAI!
She let you touch her oppai and you removed your hand? I don't blame you. You're not ready for them yet. They're too stronk.
Dat wet shirt oppai.
All that killing.
He meets her again and she's still beautiful.
She's with that group.
Dat flashback to when they met.
Dat ending.

Give this guy a harem.

When I started watching Nihon Animator Mihonichi, I couldn't wait to watch this again because it was the reason I decided to watch all of the shorts. The feels I had when I first saw are still in me.

Nice designs, pleasant animation demo (but with no real feat). GIANT cow boobs. Pseudo-fiction ressembling everything from the late 90s/early00s. What was the point of giving those guys a segment?
