When watching the movie I noticed that the music playing at 1:14:30 sounded familiar (http://picosong.com/2daz/). After a bit of search (I remembered the song, but neither the lyrics nor the title), I found "Electric Light Orchestra - Twilight" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGWR0U-Q73E ; the matching part starts with the lyrics, at 0:10).

Could it be that this particular track of the OST was inspired by the beginning of the song? It would make sense as ELO is from UK, where the movie takes place. Or just a coincidence?

It's not a coincidence :) It was done intentionally, and there are even more like this during the movie, even including Beatles, U2 and Led Zeppelin :P
This was probably due to all these bands being from the UK, so they gave the movie even more of a british feeling :D
You can find more here, just scroll down a bit: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/los_endos/20130212/1360679189

Wow, not listening to enough UK bands, I didn't notice any of those during the movie. Thank you for the link!

That was a really nice touch to the movie :-)
