I liked Kanon a lot. Can't say I love it because it was confusing at times and the way they told the stories of the past in conjunction with the problems of the present was not to my particular liking. But here are my questions:

Was Ayu (the one not in a coma) a ghost or whatever you want to call it that everyone was able to see and interact with? And because Yuuichi attempted to suppress the memories of his past due to the terrible accident which saw his friend almost die, "ghost" Ayu started to disappear as he began to regain his memories? And was it finally the headband which he was meant to give to her as kids which caused the real Ayu (in a coma) to finally wake up from her never ending dream in which she waits for Yuuichi to finally show up? And so the "ghost" Ayu was really just Yuuichi's attempt to barricade himself from the events of the past and try to move on and live without knowing that Ayu really ever existed in the first place? Did "ghost" Ayu not know that she was a "ghost" herself, as indicated by her lack of knowledge that there was no school? So does that mean she "disappeared" during the day when she went to "school"?

The final scene showing "human" Makoto was the one in which she disappeared. It was an extremely brief scene at the end of the episode, after she had already disappeared, and she was lying on the grass. What's the point of this scene? Is it a scene from when she was given life as a human? Or was it showing that she was once again alive?

Did Nayuki love Yuuichi in the anime? If so what shows this? And if so (once again), is that what caused the tension between them in her story arc or was it simply that he completely forgot her and treated her like shit when they were young?

How did everyone recover from their injuries so quickly? This maybe a silly question but I read somewhere in my quest for answers that as Yuuichi finally regained his memories and became happy again, that his happiness was what lead everyone else to recover as well. Or that's all bs and everyone just miraculously recovered from their injuries.

Thanks!

This is an adaptation from the Kei’s Visual Novel “Kanon”, each arc in the anime version is a path on the game version, give a try and play it, you may understand better Kanon.

But be aware, the Visual Novel had Hentai scene in later game.
