How it works 1) ALL entries must be of roughly the same power levels as the girls that are legal to use as companions. No reality warpers, physical gods, or mountain-eating invincible powerhouses! Entries at the upper end of the companion power scale are allowed. 2) Entries must be formatted as official MGE entries. If you're not sure about the classification of your entry (i.e. family and type) feel free to ask for advice. If you're worried about spoilers before official contest start you can ask by PM. 3) Send your entries to the arbiter by PM, up to three entries per contributor. They will be arranged into polling brackets. Once a poll is up and running it will have a limited voting period, after which a winner will be advanced to the next round. This will continue until we have a final winner -- many mamono go in, one comes out. The Top 4 monster girls of the tournament will enter the Hall of Fame. The winner will candidate for adoption into the MSG. |

Honorary Monster Girl Competition #1 Entries Mud Puppy Habitat: Lakes, rivers, etc Disposition: Shy, devoted Diet: Omnivorous, wild animals, plants, etc. An amphibious monster that prefer to live around rivers and lakes with clear water. Normally nocturnal, they will come out during the day if their water is muddied and attack the cause if possible. They also house a set of poison glands which secrete aphrodisiacs in times of stress or lust. During the mating season mud puppies use their aphrodisiac infused membranes to seduce men. Once the mud puppy finds a man she likes her gills will shrink and her lungs will grow so she can live on land with the man. The only time she will leave his side is to re hydrate herself in a body of water and will continue to peruse him until he agrees to marry her. Mud Puppy Raiju Habitat: Woodland Disposition: Violent, passionate Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc. Her kind likes violent, crazy sex and she has the power to discharge electricity. Like a thunderbird, her electricity doesn't hurt but gives intense pleasure to whomever they discharge it at. During sex they will start to give light discharges but will gradually start to increase the voltage. They can also discharge electricity through kissing and even send currents through the man's body to make him have an erection. Their main flaw is if they feel too much passion, arousal or joy, their body betrays them and shocks them instead. After sex they never leave their partners like a loyal dog, even defending their husbands. When married, the more they have sex the more their electricity grows, so husbands spend their days with "shocking" pleasure from their partner. Raiju Hydra Habitat: Caves, swamps Disposition: Agressive, Lustful Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, ect. A type of dragon with multiple woman "heads" growing out of a single reptilian lower body. Known for their incredible regenerative capabilities, it is said that if one of her "heads" is cut off two more will take its' place. But many heads are not necessarily better than one and the multiple heads of the hydra will often fight each other for the right to be the first to taste any prey they catch. These fight are particularly fierce when it comes to human men, sometimes they will go as far as to kill their sister heads in their desire to be the first to couple with the male. But any heads killed will regrow and the caught male will find himself being passed from head to head whenever the constant intercourse weakens the current head enough for the man to be stolen by the others. Hydra Hydra Simurgh Habitat: Mountains Disposition: Scholarly, Affectionate Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc The Simurgh is a type of Harpy with metallic-seeming plumage. They are born with deep bronze feathers that blend in with the rocks of their mountain home, gradually lighten to a coppery shade during adolescence, and finally turn gold upon reaching adulthood. Simurghs are among the longest-lived mamono; the oldest known have been alive for several millennia. None have lived long enough to display visible signs of aging, let alone die of old age. Simurghs are much more intellectual than are most other mamono, and they are more intelligent than all but the most brilliant humans. They have never been known to attack human men. Simurghs are scholars and philosophers who prize knowledge and wisdom above all else. Anyone who perseveres through the trials of climbing a Simurgh’s mountain -- some of which will have been placed by the Simurgh herself -- is judged worthy to receive a straight answer. A man who climbs a Simurg’s mountain can look forward to additional tests of his character, intelligence, and wisdom. A man who passes these tests will be invited to stay on the mountain as the Simurgh’s husband. A man who accepts will find that a Simurgh’s vast knowledge includes a large repertoire of sexual techniques, and she will eagerly use them to please her mate. Simurghs are devoted and attentive wives, but they have a jealous side. If a Simurgh believes that her husband has been unfaithful, or even that he is merely considering it, she will burn one of her feathers as incense the next time that she mates with him. After this the man will find that his body has become addicted to her feathers, and he will never again be able to achieve sexual satisfaction unless he is wrapped in her wings. In this way a Simurgh insures her husband’s fidelity without resorting to a violent outburst. Simurgh Leviathan Habitat: Ocean Disposition: Calm, lustful Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc. Monsters with huge bodies which dwell in the depths of the ocean. They possess enormous physical strength and few other sea creatures can match them but they don't usually stir conflict needlessly. It is very unwise to anger them, a furious Leviathan is said to be able to create large waves or even underwater storms. Mainly lurking in the deep parts of the oceans, encountering one of them is an extremely rare thing. However, every few years a Leviathan will swim up from the dark depths to seek men. While they don't usually attack ships directly and destroy them (unless overcome by dire urges), it's not uncommon for the monsters to create waves from afar by splashing their huge tails or lightly hit the vessel from underwater. If an unlucky sailor falls off overboard during the turbulence, the Leviathan would "rescue" them and subsequently drag them underwater. What happens afterwards depends on the individual. Some Leviathans like to sport a domineering attitude and tease, while others like to cater for their man. One thing for certain, since they hardly come in touch with a human due to living deep underwater, the first few days after catching a man would be spend mostly copulating. After the initial heat passes, they calm down a bit though maintaining a healthy monster lust. Once a Leviathan obtains a man, she almost certainly makes him her husband and doesn't search for other males. Their married lifestyle differs depending on the male's attitude (the Leviathan are incapable of producing mind-influencing substances like a lot of other monsters), but in the majority of the cases the human will eventually get used to his forced wife. Leviathan Leviathan Apsara Habitat: High places such as the mountains, the sky, etc. Disposition: Energetic, lustful Diet: Spirit energy of men An Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds (and waters) with the ability to change their shape at will. They're beautiful females, youthful and elegant and like to dance, because they're superb at doing so. They usually entertain and seduce men. It is also said for they bring their man/husband fortune. Here are two pictures, which should try to depict her appearance, just try to imagine her to be a bit more foggy/cloudy with her appearance. Apsara Apsara Phoenix Habitat: Mountains, Volcanic regions, etc. Disposition: Strong-willed, Passionate Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc. A species of harpy that inhabits places with high temperatures such as volcanic regions. They have strong willed, hot-blooded personalities that burns as hot as the fire that emits from their feathers. When they spot a human man, they will attempt to trap him in a ring of fire and burn away his clothes to rape him. The fire they generate will not burn the man they seek to have intercourse with; instead it will ignite a fire in his soul, causing a burning desire for the Phoenix. Should the Phoenix ever sustain a mortal wound, the fire of their bodies will ignite and burn them to ash. From the ashes they will be reborn as an egg; if they were unmarried they will have no memories of their former selves. If they had love for a man, this will be the only memory that carries over to their reincarnation. Phoenix Phoenix Satyr Habitat: Plains, woodland, Etc. Disposition: Stubborn, (gentle) Diet: Herbivorous, prefers wild grasses A type of beastman that has the characteristics of a goat, but unlike their weresheep cousins, is from carefree. They love a challenge, and will face it fearlessly in battle. The only thing that calms them down besides sex is the sound of a flute, which most learn how to play as children. When a Satyr finds a man that interests her, she will challenge him to see if he is worth becoming her husband. If a man should defeat her in battle, she will become devoted to him and pursue the man until he finally accepts to marry her. Otherwise a man can try to impress her by playing a flute, though this may arouse her and cause her to rape him if he doesn’t play the correct song. Satyr Satyr Kirin Habitat: Forests Disposition: Calm, compassionate Diet: Herbivorous, men’s spirit energy A kind of dragon-like centaur that is said to only appear before the pure of heart. One of the highest level monsters, they possess such a calm and loving disposition, it is said that they do not even bend the grass they walk upon, though they can also walk across water and the clouds themselves. They do not need to seduce a man to make him attracted to them, the purity of their heart can capture any man they set their interest in, though they will not be interested in any man unless he is pure of heart. Though like all monster girls, they possess a strong urge to have sex with men but it is normally easily repressed by their pure hearts, but should a man ever mistakenly stroke her horn, she will lose all self-control and aggressively seek to have sex with the man. Kirin Gryphon Habitat: Mountains, caves, etc. Disposition: Serious, calm Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc The Gryphon is a beastman with the appearance of a lion and an eagle. They usually live in isolation deep within the caves of mountains, guarding treasure; but will occasionally abandon their isolation to seek a mate. Should she find a man, the Gryphon will forcibly rape him, and depending on his strength and courage, may choose to take him as her husband, whether he wants to or not. When a Gryphon chooses to take a husband, they mate for life, if the man should die, the Gryphon will not seek to find a new man, and will instead life out the rest of her life in isolation, only leaving for challenges of strength and courage. Gryphon Genie Habitat: Castles and Dungeons Disposition: Energetic, pushy Diet: Spirit energy of men The Genie is a part of the mimic family, though far more rare than their cousins. Genies possess a large amount of magic ability, and should a man stumble upon her and “summon” her by rubbing her lamp, she will offer to grant him three wishes. Unfortunately for the man, every wish her makes will be interpreted in a lewd manner by the Genie, who will proceed to “grant” these wishes by forcibly have sex with the man using her magic to make it appear similar to the theme of his “wish”. Once the man has used up his three “wishes” the genie will magically transport herself to another dungeon to await the next man to grant wishes for. Genie Shade Habitat: Demon realm Disposition: Ferocious, lustful Diet: Spirit energy of men Shades are the standard foot soldiers in the demon realm, possessing a ferocious appetite for battle. As a spirit, they have the ability to possess men and drain his spirit energy, but they prefer taking it by force in their corporeal form. A shade can sometimes appear in the over world if a ghost should become too corrupted by demonic energy, she will slowly become more ferocious in her sexual appetite and increasingly hedonistic. A man should avoid encountering a shade at all costs unless he wants to be continually violently raped for his spirit energy. Shade Hippocampus Habitat: Ocean, lakes Disposition: Timid, loyal (lustful) Diet: Herbivorous, mostly seaweed The centaur of the sea, the Hippocampus is far more timid than her land dwelling counterparts. She will not overtly seek men, though if a man should fall into the water and appear to be drowning, she will attempt to rescue him. Using magic similar to mermaids, she will allow the man to breathe underwater, but this same magic will cause her to become lustful for the man she saved and will then rape him on the spot. Once the lust wears off, she will feel devoted to the man and will take him as her husband. Hippocampus Hippocampus Valkyrie Habitat: Valhalla Disposition: Strong willed, devoted Diet: Spirit energy of men Like angels, Valkyrie are servants of God, but unlike angels, they serve as the warriors of heaven or as they call it, Valhalla. Valkyrie watch over the world seeking the brave men who fall in combat to monster girls. When they witness a man courageously battle a monster girl and subsequently be defeated, they will rescue the man before he is raped and usher him to the halls of Valhalla where they will pleasure him and serve him mead. With a strong passion for battle, many Valkyrie will often devote themselves to any man they witness defeat a particularly powerful monster, or any many that was brave (or foolish) enough to challenge one. Valkyrie Pegasus Habitat: Plains, woodland, etc. Disposition: strong willed, devoted Diet: Herbivorous Pegasus are very rare in the world of monster girls, often mistaken for Unicorn for their pure white color and stunning appearance. They are the pinnacle of centaur warriors, seen as legendary heroes in centaur folklore. If a man should happen to come across a Pegasus, he should approach her cautiously as being too forward could be misinterpreted as a challenge. It is unlikely than a man will defeat her in fair combat, but even if he should lose, their fight will start a fire in her heart and she will return to him several times for a rematch, hoping to lose to him in fair combat and become devoted to him. Pegasus Basilisk Habitat: Caves, dungeons, etc. Disposition: Ferocious, violent (warm and devoted) Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc. From the Lamia family, the Basilisk is tremendously violent. Her poison being one of the most deadly of any monster girl, even her gaze is said to be deadly. They usually isolate themselves, as they rarely get along with any other monsters, even other Basilisk. When a Basilisk finds a man, her gaze with render him paralyzed, and she will inject him with her poison. The poison will fill him with an intense lust and desire for the basilisk, filling him with the thoughts that she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She will note need to rape the man as the poison will make him willingly succumb to her charms. If the Basilisk is satisfied with the man, she may choose to make him her husband. Her disposition will change completely to that of a loving and devoted wife. She will seek to keep her husband happy and content, afraid to ever be alone again. Basilisk Banshee Habitat: Graveyards, woodlands, etc. Disposition: Ferocious, lustful (calm) Diet: Spirit energy of men A type of undead that is said to be an omen of impending death. A Banshee can usually be found lurking around graveyards or in wooded areas. When undisturbed, she will remain calm and keep to herself; but if she is approached by another monster girl, or human man, she will release an ear piercing scream that can be prove to be fatal to those too close to her vicinity. If encountered by a man, the banshee’s scream will render him incapacitated, and she will steal his spirit energy by raping him in his sleep. Banshee Marilith Habitat: Caves, dungeons, etc. Disposition: Violent, tactical (warm) Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc. The Marilith is a six armed species of Lamia with a passion for battle. Although they are strategists, Mariliths eagerly join any melee combat given the chance. Their passion for fighting is comparable to their passion for sex. When they find a man, they will attempt to violently rape him to satisfy their desires. She will use her six arms and tail to stimulate the man in ways that he would not see unless involved in an orgy. If the man is able to satisfy her immense desire, her disposition will change and she will no longer long for combat, seeking only to satisfy her husband by having intense sex daily. Marilith Will-o-Wisp Habitat: Forests, plains, etc. Disposition: Devious, lustful Diet: Spirit energy of men A species of fairy, the Will-o-wisp is often a reclusive species. Often seen by those lost in the forest as a light in the distance; they work in groups to beckon the weary travelers deep into the wilderness until they are completely lost. Only once they have successfully lured the man in, will extinguish their lights and surround the man to rape him. Like regular fairies, they are mainly dangerous in a group, but since they normally trick men at night, fending off even one can be difficult in the dark. Be aware of the fairy ring, as even the will-o-wisp can perform this on unsuspecting men, transporting him to the fairy kingdom. Will-o-Wisp Zodiacs Habitat: unknown Disposition: varies with species Diet: varies with species The zodiacs are comprised of twelve different species of monster girls: The Ram, the Bull, the Twins, the Crab, the Lion, the Maiden, the Scales, the Scorpion, the (Centaur) Archer, the Sea-Goat, the Water-Bearer and the Fishes. Zodiac Mind Flayer Habitat: Underground and Human Cities Disposition: Cunning, Highly Intelligent, Cruel Diet: Erotic and Depraved Thoughts The Mind Flayer is one of the most universally hated monsters to have been discovered. At first glance the Mind Flayer will appear as a normal, albeit attractive human girl. Because of this, they are easily able to hide in cities and among humans. Where the Mind Flayer truly differs physically is hidden. Within the actual womb of these monsters, however, there are four octopus-like tentacles that they can fully control that reach up to 2 meters when fully extended. If a man had the misfortune of unknowingly penetrating one of these monsters, her tentacles will often latch on preventing any chance of escape until she has been satisfied. While unable to use normal magic, their mental powers are widely feared. The mind flayer can easily read and influence the thoughts of others. When threatened or stalking prey, she can also release a powerful mental blast that will completely incapacitate her victim with a paralyzing ecstasy. Their most feared ability, however, is the ability to pull the mind from their victim entirely, holding it within their own inhumanly perverted sea of thoughts for days at a time while the Mind Flayer rapes their body. While this monster rapes their victim in this way, the victim is so consumed with ecstasy that many never want to return to their bodies after experiencing it. Mind Flayers are also unique because of their diet. While they can subsist on normal food and spiritual energy, their favorite food is lewd and lascivious thoughts. These monsters have been known to stalk their victims for months at a time, delving deep into their minds to find the most twisted and depraved fantasies, and then creating those fantasies for their victim to feast upon the inflamed thoughts of their victim. Because their real meal is the thoughts of the victim, they don't discriminate between male or female targets. Mindflayer Chupacabra Habitat: Forests, plains, etc. Disposition: Ferocious, reclusive Diet: Men’s blood (Men’s spirit energy) When a Lizardman develops an addiction to men’s blood, she has a chance to become a Chupacabra, thereby becoming so highly addicted to men’s blood that it would prove to be lethal should she ever stop consuming it. Most Lizardmen are not born with a predisposition to blood addiction and do not run the risk of becoming a Chupacabra, but should a Lizardman become one, she will become an outcast and forever live in isolation. They will retain the stubborn nature of their Lizardman sisters, but their desire for men will only increase further with every feeding of blood, ultimately giving up on their desire to find a mate through combat. They will seek out their “soul mate” by looking for the man whose blood satisfies their intense desires. Once she finds this man, she will repay him for his blood by passionate sex every day. Chupacabra Inu Habitat: plains, human settlements, etc. Disposition: Warm, loyal Diet: Carnivorous, wild animals, etc. A subspecies of the werewolf and through a process of evolution, their violent nature has subsided and they have chosen the path in life to live by obeying humans. They normally choose to live in the settlement of men they have taken interest in, or in a nearby area. They will pursue said man persistently until he agrees to marry her. When an Inu has a husband, she will shower him with affection daily by kissing him and having passionate sex with him. Inu can be very jealous though and if they smell another Mamono on their husband, particularly another Inu, they will become enraged and seek to punish the other woman. Afterwards they will enter a deep state of depression that will not alleviate until their husband returns his affection to them again. Inu Jackalope Habitat: Plains, woodlands, etc. Disposition: Timid Diet: Herbivorous The Jackalope is an elusive monster girl with powerful legs and a unique set of horns on her head. They are extremely timid, to the point that they are rarely seen and often thought to be a myth. If spotted by a man, they will attempt to flee, but will often clumsily trip over themselves. In their timid fear, their body releases a powerful pheromone that tricks the man into thinking “I have to protect this girl” and he will instinctively help the Jackalope. As the pheromone pervades the man’s senses, the instinct will change from “I have to protect this girl” to “I want to have sex with this girl”. Having been helped by the man, the Jackalope will willingly have sex with him, thereby considering him to be her husband. The pheromones in the man’s system will soon transform into real emotions of love and caring for the girl and they will enjoy pheromone induced sex daily. Jackalope Jackalope Chronos Habitat: Unknown Disposition: Calm Diet: Spirit energy of men Chronos is a singular monster girl who has always existed, being the single guardian of time itself. Her calm disposition keeps her from seeking dominion over other monster girls despite her immense power. She idly watches the flow of time, jumping between the past, the present and the future. Though she does not interfere with specific events, she may pluck a man out his time to satisfy her sexual urges, though she will wipe his memory before returning him to his time so as not to damage the timeline. To please the man she plucks out of time, she can freeze his genitalia in time to delay the sexual release, causing him to experience a tremendous sexual euphoria as all the built up pleasure that was frozen in time is released at once. This pleasure will be unlike any he would know with any other monster girl. Chronos |

Honorary Monster Girl Competition #2 Entries GRYPHON Chimaera Family Dark Beast Type Habitat: Mountains Disposition: Proud, motherly, devoted Diet: Meat Possessing the clawed paws of a lion for feet, the clawed talons of an eagle for hands, the wings of an eagle and a lion’s tail, gryphons are both powerful and majestic even in the current age of mamono. Despite their pride they possess strong motherly instincts which make them friendly to children. They are also exceptionally devoted wives, even by mamono standards, as they will only accept one male as their husband for life. However, like all mamono, they have a lustful side and are not above raising boys into suitable husbands. Depending on the circumstances a gryphon may even consummate her relationship with her chosen husband-to-be before he fully matures, though they generally do try to restrain themselves from doing so. Gryphons have a fierce rivalry with dragons as both are powerful and proud creatures. Gryphons, like dragons, can assume the forms that they once possessed during the age of previous Demon Lords. This allows a gryphon to act as a mount with the body of a lion and the wings, front talons and head of an eagle. The feathers and claws of a gryphon are famous for having medicinal qualities such as curing blindness. However, due to their pride, they will only willingly offer their claws and feathers to those that they feel truly deserve their aid or those that are willing to pay a high price for them. As such, they can develop hordes much like a dragon’s which they will protect almost as fiercely. However, as stated before, they possess strong motherly instincts and will gladly help a child for free. Besides the main species there is one notable subspecies found in Wonderland. Strangely enough, gryphons are not affected by the uniquely lustful magic of the place although they are exceptionally protective of alice mamono. QUETZALCOATL Lamia Family Bird Type Habitat: the sky Disposition: Intelligent, brash, compassionate. Diet: Sunlight or spirit energy A Quetzalcoatl looks almost like an angel at first glance with a pair of large feathery wings upon her back. As a feathered serpent, however, the Quetzalcoatl also bears a powerful snake-like tail and brightly colored scales that extend over parts of her body. The Quetzalcoatl was never truly a monster but has learned to appreciate the pleasures that other mamono strive to enjoy. Quetzalcoatls have long found joy in offering the gift of knowledge to humans, but they have since discovered equal joy in imparting lurid carnal knowledge as well as more conventional subjects when appropriate. The Quetzalcoatl – which sometimes embodies the wind and other times the sun – makes its home in the sky for most of its life and feeds only on sunlight. With their powerful wings carrying them to every corner of the land they are only known to descend to observe things they find interesting... or to speak with potential mates. Due to magic and instinctual urges they are even able to sleep in the sky. The Quetzalcoatl will rarely, if ever, claim a mate by force. The only documented cases of such assaults are in situations in which a Quetzalcoatl encounters an intelligent individual whom she feels is wasting the gift of his intelligence. Once the Quetzalcoatl has chosen her mate, whether by force or consent, she will touch the ground for the first time to signify the bond between the earth and the sky. Quetzalcoatls have one unique power that can only ever be used once. If her mate is about to die a Quetzalcoatl can feed her blood to him, imparting a piece of her soul as she does so. The use of this power will return her mate to life at the height of youthful vitality but at the cost of the Quetzalcoatl's own life. Any person brought back to life with the Quetzalcoatl's ability will never feel completely alone. He will feel his lover's warm embrace in the light of the morning sun and hear her voice in the wind whenever he is beneath the open sky. YUHO Succubus Family Submissive Type Habitat: Towns Disposition: Devoted, shy, patient Diet: Omnivorous Some rumors say they come from a forgotten magical experiment, others from a business collapsed since long-ago or an ancient race of slaves. A lot of plausible hypotheses have been made at what their initials could stand for, but no one really knows for sure. A yuho’s body is capable of unnatural healing speed despite its soft and vulnerable look. Yuho all wear some sort of magical precious jewelry, piercings, bracelets and a thick collar from which sprouts a long chain, all apparently engraved with the letters ‘U.O.’ These items grow as their wearers do, though they can be broken and/or taken off. If someone is to grab the chain as a leash, a slow but stubborn charm will affect them and they will find themselves desiring to dominate and hurt the collared girl, who will feel all pain changed into pleasure if she notices it coming from someone charmed, and will be nearly unable to go against their “master’s” desires. In the case of one having her collar broken or rendered useless, the charm and response will be directed to the one(s) she loves and want to be with. PINCER Beastman Family Crustacean Type Habitat: Ocean floors, seashores, rivers Disposition: Cheerful, gentle, violent, timid Diet: Omnivorous, mostly fish and molluscs Pincers are lobster monsters living in crevices and caves in or near water. Instead of hands they have two large pincers (or claws) that are as hard as diamond and are able to exert terrifying force. Rumors say that some pincers can even cut through dragon scales. Pincers have pale skin due to lack of exposure to sunlight. Pincers usually have bright red hair, but rare cases of blue hair have been observed. A pincer is able to cock and lock her claw, which allows tremendous pressure to build up inside. When released the claw snaps shut with dazzling speed to create a pressure wave that can kill small fish and stun larger animals. The pressure wave is potent enough to stun mamono for a short period of time but is only effective at short range. Because their claws are unsuitable for delicate movements pincers can use demonic energy to temporary morph their claws into hands. But most Pincers are never able to fully grasp how to control those hands and will only be able to use them in a rather clumsy fashion. Pincers are annoyed by bright lights and will behave timidly in daylight; they prefer a nocturnal lifestyle. Using their two long and sensitive locks of hair as antennae they are fully aware of their surroundings, even when in pitch darkness. Pincers are known to sometimes brave the sunlight while looking for a mate. Pincers have extraordinary regenerative ability -- they are even able to fully regenerate lost body parts. When threatened a pincer can harden her hair to form a protective exoskeleton. The effectiveness and strength of this exoskeleton is directly proportional to the length of her hair, therefore you will rarely see a pincer with short hair. Pincers are fiercely territorial towards other mamono and will attack anyone who disrespects their boundaries. The many scars on their bodies are proof of the ferocity with which they defend their territory. Their attacks aren’t random, though, and mamono who respect their territory are usually allowed to pass through. To sharpen their combat skills pincers often spar with each other. Around humans pincers have completely different personalities; they are cheerful, social, gentle, patient and generous. Pincers prefer to play the laid back girl people can hang out with. When it comes to sexual experiences and experimentation pincers often are willing to go a lot further than most other girls. Like most gentle mamono they ultimately look for an intimate relationship with a human, but most are willing to settle for a ‘friends with benefits’ style of relationship, should an intimate relationship prove unfeasible. Pincers often uses their clumsiness as an excuse to ask small favors of humans they like. Then when that human helps her the Pincer will offer intercourse as thanks. Her laid back attitude combined with such tactics is surprisingly effective -- many humans (both male and female) living near a pincer had their first sexual experiences with her. While pincers usually treat human males as equals, they tend to have an unusually protective and submissive disposition towards human females. There are significantly more lesbian relationships between human females and pincers than between human females and any other mamono. Also there are numerous examples of a Pincer saving a human female from being monsterized by a mamono. Where this fondness for human woman comes from is not yet fully understood. A popular theory is that their low amounts of demonic energy makes pincers safe for human woman to be around; there is no risk of unintentional monsterization through intercourse. Also human women produce enough spirit energy to satisfy a pincer’s needs. Their ‘antennae’ are highly sensitive to spirit energy. If a human were to grab one, the pincer would feel a rush pleasure. If one could manage to grab both antennae the stimulation will have paralytic effects. Pincers sometimes tell humans they trust about this weakness in order to initiate or spice up sex. SIMURGH Harpy Family Beastman Type Habitat: Mountains Disposition: Gentle, devoted, motherly Diet: Omnivorous The simurgh is half-beast, half-bird with very beautiful feathers resembling those of a peafowl. They generally have warm personalities and treat both humans and other monsters with kindness. It is not uncommon for them to be sought for help and advice. Also, according to legends, possessing one of their feathers brings good fortune if it was bestowed willingly. Their motherly instincts are extremely strong. Should they find an abandoned or orphaned child they will almost certainly take it and raise it as their own regardless of species. Monsters who grow up that way sometimes get softer personalities because of their mother's influence, but this Simurgh habit has its negatives. Sometimes they mistakenly pick up children who are merely lost, and when the parent comes they have a hard time giving the offspring back. They are not possessive but get attached to kids quickly. Given their nature simurghs normally don't rape or even aggressively seduce men. They suppress their lust with their calm and gentle demeanor and do not make the other party feel uncomfortable. They do, however, have a very strong desire to have children. When a particular man catches their fancy they start getting a little more pushy, and this is especially true when dealing with men who are oblivious. If their subtle advances are being ignored or go unnoticed they snap and outright assault the man when the chance arises. Despite their gentle personalities their bodies are very strong and can easily overpower a human. They mate with passion that loses to few other monsters. The man is caressed with both their soft fur and the long feathers of their wings while he's locked in their warm embrace. Their gentle love is directly transmitted using their bodies, and it's difficult to resist their affection. By the end of the night a regular man would be captivated by her. Once a simurgh has obtained a husband she starts wishing for a large family, so they copulate daily in order to conceive. It is speculated that it might be just an excuse to not hold back their lust any longer. Otherwise, her original gentle disposition doesn't change much and she takes very good care of her man and, subsequently, their children. Simurghs don't use their strength often, but if their families are threatened they display frightening power and won't back down even when their opponent is much stronger. That's why it is unwise to do anything that could be interpreted as offence to their loved ones. TARRASQUE Lizard Family Reptile Type Habitat: The End of Days Disposition: Violent, simple, jealous, clumsily doting (with her mate) Diet: Literally anything Appearing at first glance as a Lizardman with large horns and spines to complement her scales, these mamono are almost universally feared and avoided. Once existing as a singular force of unstoppable destruction, these "Armageddon Engines" are no less dangerous as mamono. With nearly impenetrable scales, outright immunity to most magic, and the ability to fully regenerate even after being reduced to a pile of ash, it is only their extremely low intelligence and unique method of producing offspring that prevents Tarrasques from being an even greater threat. In the past the Tarrasque was a unique creature. Legends say that an ambitious Lord in the distant past bestowed a blessing upon the Tarrasque that allowed the beast to bear young by her mate. The name of this Lord has long been forgotten along with every sign that the Lord existed, likely devoured by the beast and her children. No Lord would ever repeat the mistake of granting her blessing to a Tarrasque again. Like many mamono, a Tarrasque's greatest desire is to find a suitable mate. Unlike many mamono, she will decide that the first male she happens to see is her mate, regardless of claims, legal or otherwise, by other mamono. Once she spots her chosen a Tarrasque will use her great physical strength and toughness to obliterate anything that stands between her and her mate. It's been said that only a Lord's direct intervention would be enough to hold back a Tarrasque, but even this fact has never been fully verified. A Tarrasque is as jealous and possessive as a Lamia. When she finally catches her mate she will not release him under any circumstances and will happily claim his body for days at a time without rest. She will then often sleep for days, contentedly holding her mate tightly in her arms. Though she is rarely intelligent enough to speak more than a few words a Tarrasque will still develop an intuitive understanding of her mate's needs after spending time with him. She will bring food, water, and anything else she can find that might make her mate smile. As innocent as a child, the greatest joy for a Tarrasque is receiving the smiling praise of her mate. Patting her head between her horns, in particular, will make her coo and squirm in loving happiness. As a tragic consequence of her unique nature a Tarrasque becomes so devoted to her mate, body and soul, that she could never care for another. If her mate should ever die her heart will break as the overwhelming sadness crushes her will to live, killing the Tarrasque as well. Upon the death of a Tarrasque she will leave behind a single egg that will hatch into another Tarrasque that is the biological offspring of her parents. The young Tarrasque will often grow up alone until she finds her own mate and continues the endless cycle. ABAIA Mermaid Family Eel Type Habitat: Oceans, lakes, rivers Disposition: Disciplined, motherly, lustful Diet: Fish, crustaceans The abaia is an aquatic species of mamono akin to eels. They live in oceans, lakes, and even some rivers should they be vast enough. Despite being related to mermaids the abaia’s appearance is more like that of the lamia family with the only difference being small fins half way down the tail’s top and bottom. While being more comfortable in the water abaia are more than capable of traversing land for short distances in less than extreme weather. Abaia are strong creatures both physically and emotionally – sometimes too strong in the latter case. Abaia often possess a composed and stern disposition but are among the gentlest mamono around. It is not uncommon to see an abaia take in an orphan, regardless of species, due to their overactive motherly instinct. When it comes to her lover an abaia will stop at nothing to ensure his or her safety at all times. Though this sometimes comes off as overbearing the abaia only has the other’s well being in mind, and she often risks her own to ensure it. Abaia are kind to a fault; they truly would give the clothes off their backs should they see that someone else needs them more. The only thing that angers an abaia is if someone should threaten those who are in the abaia’s care, be it children, lovers, friends, or even that stray dog on the street she took a liking to. Abaia possess an innate ability similar to that of thunderbirds – a magical electric current generated in their bodies. This electricity, unlike the thunderbird’s, has a wide range of properties. The electricity can be used for very light healing, numbing, arousal, and full on paralysis. Normally the electricity is harmlessly released into the surrounding water without any of the aforementioned effects unless the abaia intends them, but should an abaia get worked up it is possible for one of the latter three to take place to a small degree. Due to this ability abaia are not harmed by electricity regardless of how it is introduced. Should an abaia get hit with a significant amount of electricity, however, the effects would be as though she were hit with lightning bolt of pure aphrodisiac. Due to the constant discharge of electricity abaia have to suppress it when out of the water. Otherwise they risk affecting those around them since the natural discharge is more potent when it meets the demonic energy in the air. A grown abaia is capable of fully suppressing her discharge for up to seven hours before doing so would have an effect on her. Though there is no harm in suppressing it for even a few days, the longer it is suppressed the more the abaia is basically absorbing the electricity back in, effectively acting as a self applied aphrodisiac. Should anyone of whom she especially fond be around during such a time the abaia may not be able to hold herself back from indulging herself. Due to their similarity to mermaids there are rumors of abaia blood also having a healing effect, but this is false. Abaia blood is in fact lethal to nearly anyone who ingests it. Even vampires have a severe distaste for it and would choose to feed from a zombie over an abaia, but this fact has not stopped rumors of abaia blood being a healing agent from spreading. Due to this one should be careful of what blood is purchased on the black market. JERSEY DEVIL Succubus Family Demon Type Habitat: Forests, wastelands, grasslands, Disposition: Aggressive , lustful Diet: Carnivorous This ferocious demon with elk horns lurks in forests and plains and often attacks livestock if it has the chance. It is said that the first Jersey Devil was born to a couple that held deep hatred for monsters, and because of that the wife was cursed to give birth to one. After the young monster was thrown out it survived in the wilds and village outskirts. Because of a particular type of cattle it attacked and the leather it wore, it was named "Jersey" Devil. Jersey Devils are very tough and agile and can easily hunt for themselves, but they never pass up an opportunity for free food or a man. The wings on their backs aren't suitable for prolonged flight and are more often used as a tool for intimidation since they prefer to run on the ground. They are very territorial and aggressive and easily get into fights over petty reasons. Although mostly seen on their own, if multiple Devils meet they join together to hunt in packs and, if the numbers are enough, go as far as forming small tribes. If cornered they can emit a blood-curdling scream which terrifies all but the most strong-willed, during which time they can escape or counterattack. During sex they can release moans and cries which cause extreme arousal in a man. They don't do anything to suppress their lust and kidnap men without a second thought in order to satisfy their urges. If one spots you, it's difficult to outrun her and escape. They aggressively assault men and mate repeatedly in one session. During intercourse they determine if they really like the man and if not they might release him if it's possible to catch another one soon. Otherwise they will force him to stay and even keep away other monsters and Jersey Devils. They will only share a man they don't particularly like. It is possible for their bad personality to improve, but it requires giving them a lot of attention and care. ZASHIKI WARASHI Spirit Family Domestic Type Habitat: Human houses Disposition: Cheerful, simple, childish Diet: Men's spirit energy, sweets and other snacks loved by children Zashiki warashi are relatively harmless spirits. They wander the land unseen looking for well-maintained and preferably large old houses they can inhabit. The spirit prefers a house owned by a lonely and kind "big brother" but isn't above moving into a house occupied by a family if no other option is available. A zashiki warashi is invisible and incorporeal while wandering and looking for a new home, but this changes once she settles into her new home. It takes a few days before a zashiki warashi can manifest a physical body. They usually take the forms of young girls with bobbed hair and bright red traditional clothes. The spirit remains elusive at first, using magic to hide herself, but it's pretty easy to notice her presence. Just like human children, zashiki warashi love to play. They have a bad habit of moving things around and rarely put them back in the places from which they took them. When the ground is covered with snow they can't resist leaving some footprints. They like playing with fellow children, both humans and monsters, and occasionally play harmless pranks or cause mischief, but they never do so in ill will. After a day of leaving frequent signs of her presence a zashiki warashi will properly introduce herself to the house’s owner. She will ask for permission to stay in the house and may also demand some sweets and toys as well. It's said that a zashiki warashi brings fortune to the house that she inhabits, which is true from a certain point of view. The spirit emits a subtle charm that makes people, both humans and monsters, think they're adorable. By the time they make their introduction the house and its owner will carry the "scent" of the demonic energy unconsciously released by the zashiki warashi. That pleasant scent triggers positive feelings from people and makes it easy for the “big brother” to gain favor in business. On the other hand, should the zashiki warashi depart from the house, either because she's driven away or she's upset with the owner, the demonic energy will leave a bitter scent that makes people upset with the man's mere presence. Fortunately, a zashiki warashi rarely leaves a house for good; she will most likely hide nearby and will return should the owner miss or need her. The demonic energy that she releases also increases lust, slowly but surely eating the man's restraint away without him realizing it, at least until zashiki warashi "accidently" turns him on. A man robbed of his restraint will proceed to have sex with her and provide the spirit energy she needs. After the first time the zashiki warashi will be always seen blushing while she's around the owner – her affection will be difficult to miss. Those who are hostile toward monsters tend to drive zashiki warashi away along with the "big brothers" who give them homes, but in any monster-friendly community at least one zashiki warashi will be around. They are often tolerated by otherwise competitive monsters. APKALLU Mermaid Family Fish Type Habitat: Oceans, human settlements Disposition: Calm, strong, reserved Diet: Omnivorous A variation of mermaid who possesses great intelligence and wisdom. Although they normally live in the oceans, kingdoms prepare special habitats and invite them to come live in their territory to serve as advisers and teachers. Since apkallu have a desire to share their knowledge they usually accept and thus it is not uncommon to see them in a royal palace or a renowned school. Under their guidance nations prosper and people unlock their best capabilities. When it comes to teaching or consulting they become really passionate and strict. They will use their logic and broad knowledge to prove that they are right no matter which subject. They can tell what a person is good at and will push them in the direction by which they can best serve their country’s needs. Their unshakable confidence in their abilities makes others trust and rely on them. For apkallu there is no greater joy than to witness the success of their students – even if they don't show it outwardly. Despite their usual brilliance apkallu are very clumsy when it comes to the men they like. They will approach them under poor excuses like special lessons, show awkwardness when interacting with them and sometimes completely lose their composure. Because of that, when first arriving to a kingdom, they will often demand a man as a tribute in return for their services so that they can avoid hassles and not worry about their lust. Like most mermaid monsters they can sing with very beautiful voices but are extremely self-conscious and shy about it. They will only sing in front of a man they truly love. GRIFFIN Chimaera Family Dark Beast Type Habitat: Mountains Disposition: Humble, relaxed/lazy, willful Diet: Meat Griffins are a proud and noble race of powerful and intelligent mamono. Having characteristics of large eagle like wings upon their backs their flight speed is rivaled by few. Their talons for feet and lion claws for hands easily puncture thin steel while allowing their strength to tear it asunder. Atop their heads rests a pair of lion ears and a long tail extends from behind. The griffin is a strong contender for the title of king of the skies. But despite all their pride, power, and intellect, griffins are known to be exceptionally modest as well as relaxed, some to the point of appearing lazy. This is most likely a trait from their feline side. Griffins tend to be solitary beings who only interact with others when the need arises. If something should strike their fancy they would then show a rarely-displayed tenacious side as they try to obtain it. When the object of her interest happens to be a man a griffin tries to catch his attention in a different way – by indifference. Needless to say this doesn’t work well. One of the few times you will catch a griffin acting superior is when they are trying to indirectly impress someone. Their intelligence only goes as far as logic in most cases, as a griffin would be arguably inept at understanding rules that don’t make sense at face value. A griffin would quickly question authority if the instruction would appear to be counterproductive or should they not understand. While she may appear as though she is picking a fight she is not. She is simply trying to comprehend the reasoning. MOKELE-MBEMBE Dragon Family Saurian Type Habitat: Rivers and swamps in the tropics Disposition: Calm, patient, affectionate Diet: Vegetables, fruits, tubers, leaves, men’s spirit energy Dragons are an ancient breed, and the mokele-mbembe (mo-KAY-lay mmm-BEM-bay) is among the most ancient. In monster form a “swamp dragon” appears to be a human woman with thick leathery hide on her forearms and lower legs. She also sports a short muscular tail. A mokele-mbembe is tall – 2-2.5 meters is typical – and powerfully built. In the ancient form a swamp dragon looks like one of the “thunder lizards” of the primordial past. Mokele-mbembe have the peaceful dispositions that are typical of plant eaters, but they are fiercely protective of their mates and young. Swamp dragons prefer to avoid conflict with anyone who doesn’t threaten them and theirs. They’d rather spend leisurely days gathering food, playing with their children, and making slow, sweet love to their husbands. Mokele-mbembe travel in small groups (herds) that consist of two to five mothers and their children. Loyalty to family is the most highly regarded virtue among swamp dragons, with loyalty to herd a close second. Swamp dragons are all strong swimmers and can hold their breath for fifteen minutes or more. In the ancient form they can remain submerged for over an hour. Mokele-mbembe have no wings and cannot fly, and they lack breath weapons. The considerable magical energies that other dragons use for flight and fire-breathing are instead channeled into supernatural strength and vitality. The strength and toughness of the mokele-mbembe are extraordinary even among dragons. These traits make swamp dragons fearsome foes despite their pacifistic tendencies. Mokele-mbembe do not rape human males; while they have desires as strong as those of any other mamono they lack the necessary spark of cruelty. Nor do they rely on seduction – mokele-mbembe aren’t as exotically beautiful as are many other monster girls, and swamp dragons are often self-conscious about this fact. Instead they win husbands by rescuing lost explorers or liberating slaves from more violent mamono. They then play on the resulting gratitude while making themselves indispensible in the man’s life. A swamp dragon will gently woo her man for weeks, months, or even years until he realizes his love for the gentle giant. Once the man surrenders to her love the mokele-mbembe will share him with her sisters (blood and adopted) in her herd, and he will be honored as the “alpha bull” to them all. FAIRY HUNTER Succubus Family Fairy Type Habitat: Swamps, lakes, ponds Disposition: Lustful, energetic Diet: Spirit energy, demonic energy The Fairy Hunter is a type of fairy that inhabits wetlands. They resemble dragonflies and can often be seen rapidly darting about as they hover just above the water’s surface. Fairy hunters love games of tag and will sometimes chase each other around for hours as they fly at top speed. They are also attracted to sources of demonic energy, particularly mamono with a lot of magical power, and will investigate if they sense any nearby. Fairy Hunters are unique among mamono in that they feed on demonic and spirit energy and as such are just as likely to seek out mamono as humans. Because all monsters hold demonic energy in their bodies they will be drawn to any mamono that approaches. However, a witch or other monster with a lot of demonic energy who approaches their territory they will find herself in a swarm of hungry fairy hunters. Once they have found their prey they will begin to induce pleasure in them by teasing the nipples, vagina, and other sensitive areas to wear down their prey and make it easier to drain their demonic energy. Because they often swarm around magical mamono and can quickly drain all of their magical power they are also known as mage killers, though they never actually kill their prey. As their name suggests their favorite prey are fairies. They love fairies because of their submissive and easily corruptible nature, but they also enjoy chasing down and capturing other small monsters they can take home with them. Once back at their home the Fairy Hunters have sex with the mamono using their tails. While this has no reproductive purpose their tails are as sensitive as a man’s penis and they will use it to seek their own pleasure. Like all monsters they will also seek out men to satisfy their own desires and reproductive needs. Like fairies their bodies are flexible enough to accept any sized man despite their appearance. Once the man has been rendered complacent Fairy Hunters will bring any prey they have captured to the man to join them during sex with hopes of extracting more energy from the prey. After experiencing the pleasure the Fairy Hunters can give, neither men nor mamono will resist becoming their prey. LIVING GRIMOIRE Construct Family Book Type Habitat: Unknown Disposition: Varies Diet: Men's spirit energy, monsters’ demonic energy A Living Grimoire seems to be a little girl carrying a magic tome. The girl is actually the materialized personification of the tome's immense magical energy. Depending on the tome's level of energy the grimoire may appear as an untouchable ghostly image, but since the majority of the Living Grimoires are created to move the tome around and protect it they will usually have solid bodies similar to those of golems. A rare few magic tomes become sentient through exposure to immense amounts of demonic energy and then become capable of storing and utilizing magical energy to create their own avatars. Such books were often legendary ages before they gained self-awareness. The authors of these tomes recorded generations’ worth of arcane knowledge, passionately writing each word, and also recorded their thoughts into the tomes. This act fused their creations with demonic energy and allowed them to become “alive.” Only original tomes that were hand-written by their authors are known to gain life in this way. Living Grimoires are technically golems that exist in order to protect the existence of the original book, interact with the world around it and collect the energy necessary to sustain its existence. While golems lack monstrous features and some of them can even pass for human, their bodies are artificial creations with greater strength and durability than the bodies of humans. Living Grimoires are often highly intelligent as well; they have access to all of the knowledge recorded in their books. The avatar is capable of absorbing the tome into itself in order to protect it from harm if necessary. Because magic tomes have limited ability to collect magical energy and Living Grimoires are living personification of the book, there is only one Living Grimoire for each manuscript. Also, since creating the physical body takes years worth of magical energy and the original tome doesn't have much power to spare, the golem is always materialized in the shape of a little girl in order to conserve energy. Without energy to spare a Living Grimoire rarely possesses any combat ability beyond its exceptional strength and durability; if threatened it will usually retreat. But with enough energy at her disposal a Living Grimoire can use every spell written in her tome, and possessing more than a century's worth of knowledge lets them utilize those spells at maximum efficiency. This makes them dangerous opponents, especially against those who are weak against magical attack. Once a Living Grimoire is formed it will set off to find a human male with whom to make a contract. The tome will offer great power and knowledge in exchange for spirit energy. If the man agrees the Living Grimoire will accept him as her master and collect his spirit energy through sexual intercourse. The tome will reshape her avatar’s form to be more to the man's liking after the contract is made. Living Grimoires desire to be understood, and a man who manages to do so will gain a loyal magical golem that goes to great length to support him. If he fails he may end up being abused by a girl with tremendous magical power. There are no other traits in common between Living Grimoires; they are highly individual beings, and their personalities can range from cheerful to cold or gloomy or even vicious according to the magic their books contain. Since Living Grimoire can live on demonic energy in an emergency some will form contracts with intelligent magic-capable monsters to increase their chances of capturing a man. They often end up sharing the man afterwards. They commonly work with Witches, and the majority of Living Grimoires are recruited by Sabbath, but other relations are possible if the Grimoire doesn't find the nature of a creature too conflicting with the nature of the book that formed her. SUCCUMBING SUCCUBUS Succubus Family Submissive Type Habitat: Forests, towns, unique places Disposition: Curious, sometimes carefree, loving, Diet: Omnivore and spirit energy As the name implies, Succumbing Succubi are a unique type of succubus that can often be seen travelling with clothes and bags all seemingly filled to the brim. Their specialty in the succubus family is their ability to regulate their physical senses as they see fit, able to balance or unbalance them. If one increases, then one or more must decrease. They can thus augment their senses’ range, distance, precision, or sensitivity, depending on their experience and training. The more unbalanced they are the more concentration it requires. During sexual activities it can be very hard to focus on such things, and thus many block their senses manually with items they often keep on themselves at all time (i.e. scarves, earplugs, or ball gags) to increase the pleasure they get as much as they can, hence giving the impression that they’re succumbing to their partner(s)’s touch. Most get attached very quickly to whomever they have fun with, which can contradict their travelling nature. Most Succumbing Succubi desire constant travel to test the limits and potential of their power. HYDRA Dragon Family Reptile Type Habitat: Caves, swamps Disposition: Aggressive, lustful Diet: Carnivorous The hydra is a type of dragon with multiple woman-shaped "heads" growing out of a single serpentine lower body. They prefer remote damp places such as caves or swamps. They are aggressive and territorial and will fiercely guard their homes from any intruders. Because of their highly aggressive behavior they are often distant from both human and mamono societies. This works just fine for hydras, for they care little about what happens outside of their territories and will only leave them search of food or mates. Hydras are known for their incredible regenerative capabilities. It is said that if one of a hydra’s "heads" is cut off two more will take its place. This regenerative ability combined with their aggressiveness makes them fierce but reckless fighters who attack anything with little regard for the consequences. But despite the many battles hyras engage in their skin is never scarred because the healing is so complete. The more battles a hydra is in the more beautiful and flawless her skin will be from the constant renewal. Their beauty is proportional to their savagery, and a hydra with many heads is a hydra that has survived many battles. But many heads are not necessarily better than one. The multiple heads of a hydra will often fight each other for the right to be the first to taste any prey they catch. These fights are particularly fierce when it comes to human men, but once the fighting has stopped the man will find himself being passed from head to head whenever the constant intercourse weakens the current head enough for the man to be stolen by one of the others. Because the other heads can hunt for food while one is mating it is likely that the man will spend the rest of his life in the arms of at least one of the heads. MAKARA Chimaera Family Fish Type Habitat: Oceans or large lakes Disposition: Energetic, cheerful, impulsive, reckless Diet: Omnivorous, eats nearly everything edible Nobody knows exactly how makara came to be. The most popular theory is that they are the result of a genetic quirk involving genetic material from a mermaid and a dragon in the womb of an echidna several eons ago. Official records label their origin as unknown. Due to their hybrid nature they have been added to the Chimaera family. The most striking draconic feature of the makara is her wings. While underwater she keeps them folded tightly against her back to minimize drag. Makara are extraordinarily fast and agile swimmers. They can use their speed to launch themselves from the water – using their powerful tails they push themselves from the water’s surface to propel themselves even higher. In this way they can jump up to 25 meters (80 ft.) high. Once airborne they unfold their wings and they can glide a few hundred meters (~1000 ft.), before diving back in. They aren’t good flyers, though, and staying airborne for longer periods requires great effort. Makara usually carry tridents to hunt for large fish. They are expert in catching fish that are too fast for other mamono. Due to being part draconic they prefer a varied diet consisting of both seafood and land-food. The seafood and seabirds they hunt themselves while trading fish for vegetables and meat. Makara are able to cast some rudimentary electromancy spells, but only a few have the patience to master higher level magic. Most only use their electomancy to electrify their tridents to shock/stun the fish they hunt. This allows for cleaner kills and thus better quality fish. They are able to cast a blessing on humans that increases their swimming speed and endurance, and a happy side effect of this blessing is increased endurance between the sheets. This blessing helps their husbands to keep up with their fast and energetic life style. Makara are not able to use hydromancy and thus are not able to bless their husbands with water breathing spells, nor does their blood have the same life prolonging properties as a mermaid’s. Therefore makara often share husbands with mermaid type mamono. They are also known to trade blessings. Makara are impulsive and passionate thrill seekers, which often leads to reckless behavior. Their recklessness might sometimes result in severe bodily harm, but they will never deliberately endanger humans or other mamono. Thankfully they are blessed with two “shock-absorbers” and have sturdy bodies, and having many mermaid friends doesn’t hurt either. They are the stuntwomen of the sea; they like to perform dangerous stunts when jumping, swim up waterfalls, dive from high cliffs, or participate in any other activity that gets the adrenaline pumping. Makara often perform their stunts at festivals or at parties. Scars and men willing to take a few risks themselves are major turn-ons for makara. Like Mermaids, makara are social mamono and are often found near coastal villages. They have a good sense of humor and are kind-hearted and cheerful. These qualities make them well loved by men and other mamono alike. They are kind to humans and are not likely to assault them. Their draconic side makes them a lot more assertive than mermaids, though. They prefer actively trying to seduce a man over passively waiting for the right one to pass by. A makara will not shy away from flaunting her generous bosom or showing off her dragon wings to impress men, nor are they averse to fawning over a man or stroking his ego to tempt him into intercourse. A makara can temporarily transform into a lightning breathing draconic form of monstrous proportions, but makara rarely transform. Most don’t transform even once in their lifetimes. The reason for this reluctance is that transformation takes a heavy toll on their bodies and leaves the makara in a severely weakened state when the transformation ends. Without a steady supply of spirit energy such a weakened state might last for months. They also get way too aroused for their own good by the thrill of facing a dangerous threat in their weaker normal forms. That it might result in severe harm or even death only makes it more exciting for them. The only thing that could motivate the average makara to transform is a need to protect her loved ones from mortal danger. TIKBALANG Beastman Family Horse Type Habitat: Forests, rain forests Disposition: Aggressive, territorial, prone to malicious pranks Diet: Omnivorous, men’s spirit energy A tikbalang, or demon horse, has the features of a human woman from the waist up and legs that resemble the rear legs of a horse. She also has a horse’s tail and posterior. Tikbalangs are universally dark-haired with three shiny golden hairs growing from the mane. The average tikbalang is taller than most humans, and her lean physique hides immense strength. Tikbalang life revolves around territory. Each individual claims an area large enough to provide adequate food and shelter for herself, a mate, and her offspring. Anyone who travels through that area without permission may become a target for the tikbalang’s cruel pranks. Tikbalangs excel at survival skills and at mimicry, and they use those skills to lead travelers astray or lure them into traps. The pranks aren’t usually designed to cause serious injury, but anything up to lethal force may be used against a victim who tries to harm the demon horse or damage her territory. Tikbalangs tend to avoid direct confrontation, but if forced to fight up close they can use their strength and their hooves to great effect. Many tikbalangs are skilled in the use of blowguns and in mixing herbal poisons. Tikbalangs do not tolerate dryads or plant-based mamono within their territories, but having such “guests” on their borders is acceptable. An intruder into a tikbalang’s territory can expect different treatment if he is a human man. The pranks will take the form of tests of endurance, courage, and survival skills. If he fails these tests the tikbalang will wait until he is at the edge of panic and exhaustion before she springs her final attack – a brutal rape that ends with the man becoming her slave. This is an especially fearsome fate when one considers the increased chance that a demon horse is a futanari; a tikbalang is likely to be hung like a horse. A man who passes the tikbalang’s tests will instead be seduced and invited to become her husband. In either case a man who succeeds in plucking the three golden hairs from the tikbalang’s mane will become her master. The tikbalang braids the hairs into a bracelet for him to wear as a wedding token, and she will become a loyal and devoted “mount” who likes nothing better than being “ridden” by her master. GARUDA Harpy Family Birdman Type Habitat: Mountains, cliffs Disposition: Proud, lustful, arrogant, aggressive, loyal Garuda are a rare type of monster with the body of a woman, bird claws on their arm and legs, feathery wings growing from their backs and horns atop their heads. They are distant relatives of Harpies. Unlike their weaker kin, the harpies, average garuda power is on pair with dragons. They have highly durable bodies, great strength, and virtual immunity to poisons along with the ability to create gale force winds at will and even limited shape shifting. Their bodies contain a huge amount of demonic energy. Garuda build their settlements in the mountains in places that are inaccessible without the power of flight. It is from these heights that they launch their raids on nearby human settlements. When a garuda spots a man she desires she will swoop down, grab the man, and drag him to her nest where she gives in to her urges with great passion and has sex with him until she is tired. A man who is claimed as a husband won't have an easy life with a garuda as they are strong-willed, powerful creatures with an arrogant attitude who look down on men as their personal playthings. Luckily for the man such a disposition will not last forever. Should a man endure the demands of this monstrous female even the most strong-willed gauda will eventually show a warmer attitude toward the man she chose. Such a "tamed" garuda can be a very loyal companion and wife. Unlike harpies, garuda are not governed by a regular mating season and they will commonly abduct females if no worthy male is available. As with men, women will be imprisoned in the nest and forced to please the garuda. A captured woman will eventually transform into some kind of harpy. With wings of her own she will be able to leave but will rarely do so. In time there will be an entire colony of harpies ruled by one powerful garuda. LUREMAID Mermaid Family Fish Type Habitat: Deep ocean Disposition: Quiet, lonely Diet: Fish The luremaid is a type of mermaid that inhabits the deep sea. They rarely encounter other mamono, let alone humans, and they are often quiet and soft spoken when they do. They are slow to act and prefer to let everything come to them rather than seek it out themselves. This tendency often makes them appear dimwitted or lazy, but in truth they don’t know how to act around others. Unlike other mermaids, who use their songs to lure men to them, luremaids use the lights on their heads. This light hypnotizes all who see it and it acts as both defense mechanism and a lure for food and men. When a luremaid is startled or afraid her lure displays a huge and hideous beast to frighten away any would be attackers. When she is calm or shy it lulls everyone around her into a relaxed daze. Even luremaids themselves are not immune to the effects of their lures; they can sometimes be caught absentmindedly gazing at their own bobbles, and many have taken to growing long bangs over their eyes to prevent this. Because they normally live deep in the sea it is often great loneliness or longing that brings them to the surface. When this happens their lures will shine brighter than ever in their desperation to find a partner. Their loneliness gets amplified and transmitted through their lures, and the effects can be felt from miles away. Unfortunately for them this not only compels men to take to the sea but also causes other sea mamono to be more desperate for partners of their own. Even a luremaid is surprised when a man manages to make his way out to her. By the time a man has made it to the luremaid he will have been moved by her feelings and will not resist as the luremaid gently guides him into the depths. With a partner of her own and her loneliness cured she will never let him go. They will mate with the man slowly, always trying to make the act last as long as possible, and even when they are not mating the luremaid always clings to her beloved – one might even think that they were attached. SUADA Alraune Family Plant Type Habitat: Forests, grasslands, meadows Disposition: Spiteful, lustful; melancholic, vengeful, lustful Diet: Nutrients from the soil, men’s spirit energy Suadae are mid-ranking plant mamono with plain looks. According to the legends, two women once competed for the love of the same man. Because she was unwilling to compete fairly one woman lured the other out of their village and stabbed her. The dying woman’s blood spilled over a poisonous flower and infused it with her agony, her anger, and her yearning for love. Thus the first suada was born. Suadae are tormented by their plain looks and feel that their life and love were stolen from them. They feel cursed. Because of this ‘curse’ suadae despise all other women, the exception being other suadae for they are recognised as sufferers of the same fate. All suadae have a strong yearning for a man’s love, but due to their distrustful nature no man will be able to convince a suada that his love for her is true. Suadae are surprisingly mobile for plant mamono; they can root and uproot themselves with little effort. They have to root for short periods to absorb nutrients from the soil, but after having absorbed enough nutrients they can go for many days before having to set root again. Suadae are masters of poison. Their leaves produce many different kinds of natural poisons, and they can use their demonic energy to magically enhance the potency. This allows their poisons to overcome resistance and makes it extremely difficult to create effective antidotes. They themselves are completely immune to any kind of poison, and they can also cure any poison by temporarily sharing their immunity through the act of sex. Most of their poisons are meant to be only irritants, but some of their toxins are lethal. Furthermore, as long as there are plants nearby they are masters of camouflage; they can even stay hidden from keen observers like Elves. Their camouflage is not a magical ability and thus is not traceable by detecting magic. Suadae are known to ambush men and inject them with an otherwise harmless poison that causes violent itching. The only way to get rid of the itching is by having intercourse with the suada, but during intercourse the poison is reapplied as well. Only continuous sex with the suada will bring true relief. Suadae also ambush mamono and inject them with similar poisons that cause temporary severe itching. This is done simply out of spite. A suada blooms for a few weeks each year. She temporarily loses all of her abilities except for her poison immunity and loses all need for sustenance other than spirit energy. She becomes the very definition of natural beauty and passion; not even exceptionally beautiful mamono like wights can match the allure of a suada in bloom, and their bedroom skills are said to make even lilim blush. While in bloom suadae feel as if they have been restored to their true selves. They are overcome with melancholy, for being in bloom is only temporary. Suadae without a husband use their bloom period to execute revenge on women by having sex with claimed men. To achieve this they use a simple yet effective tactic – seduce the wife to get to the man. Many mamono enthralled by a suada’s beauty have willingly offered their husbands to her. Once the bloom period ends, the suada will infuse the last of her ‘blooming essence’ into a beautiful flower that will never wither. They leave the flower as a memento for the man. During bloom a man finally has a shot at convincing a suada of his love for her. Should a man succeed she will enter a state of “eternal bloom.” This state is actually an enhanced normal state with improved looks; her normal bloom-cycle continues. Finally released from their curse she loses her spiteful disposition – only the desire to settle down, become his loving wife, and bear his children will remain. A suada in eternal bloom can use her camouflaging ability to hide her husband as well. Once her husband dies or is about to die a suada will force herself into a “final bloom” that lasts exactly three days and three nights. Final bloom is a powerful ability that returns her husband to his physical prime, even resurrecting him if need be, and the suada looks better than she ever has before. What then happens in the bedroom remains private, but it is rumored that when a suada enters final bloom Eros herself will descend to earth to watch and learn. Afterwards both the man and the suada vanish. Only two flowers remain… one of them poisonous and covered in blood. CHERUB Angel Family Angel Type Habitat: Heaven, human settlements, ancient ruins Disposition: Protective, warlike, dedicated Diet: Sunlight, men’s spirit energy A cherub appears as a humanoid woman with feathery wings. All cherubim are of above-average height and have athletic builds. They are guardian angels sent by powerful divine entities to protect locations, objects, or persons that are critical to their patron spirits’ plans. As agents of divine protection and mercy cherubim never strike the first blow in combat… but they don’t consider it striking the first blow to jump into a fight to protect someone else. Guardian angels don’t shy away from battle, but neither do they take pleasure in it for its own sake. They do what they must to protect their charges, no more and no less. A cherub has a number of abilities that make her a guardian of extreme potency. The first are her exceptional strength, speed, and toughness. Next are her keen senses; a cherub’s sight is as sharp as an eagle’s, and her hearing is as acute as a bat’s. Cherubim can also fly thanks to their fully functional wings. Their most powerful ability as guards is minds that remain constantly alert. A cherub is equally immune to boredom, daydreaming, and the need for sleep (including sleep spells). Lastly, a cherub always knows the condition of her charge and the approximate distance and direction to it. Cherubim don’t eat normal food because they believe that “things of the earth” will corrupt them. They subsist entirely on sunlight, and their bodies are suffused with it. A cherub who is in battle or in the grip of strong emotion will emit an aura of holy golden light that weakens the physical and magical powers of demons and undead. A cherub can also manifest a sword made of divine fire at will. This weapon is dangerous to any being – it can even damage incorporeal targets like ghosts – but it is particularly effective against demons. The flaming sword has no effect on beings who are not evil or at least hostile to the cherub or her charge. Cherubim never rape human men, and they usually don’t exhibit monstrous desires at all. However, a cherub who is set to guard a human will often fall in love with her charge. A cherub whose former charge has been destroyed may, upon meeting a human who is in need of protection, assign herself as his guardian. In such cases the angel can experience the full range of emotions of a devoted wife in addition to a monster’s lust. The traces of his spirit energy in her system will allow her to unerringly track him anywhere, and a devout man will gain some ability to sense her location and condition as well. They will both know the exact moment when their lovemaking conceives a child. A cherub will remain faithful to her husband until his death. At that time, if he is virtuous, she will conduct his soul to Heaven where they will continue in wedded bliss and near-constant lovemaking for eternity. ICY TEMPTRESS Succubus Family Iceman Type Habitat: Forest, towns, or cold regions. Disposition: Gentle, persuasive, Diet: Omnivore; spirit energy Having no physical monstrous traits other than a blue-tinted skin and hair at first sight, the Icy Temptresses possess a thin sheet of ice to cover their erogenous parts, which only sends painful signals when touched. However they can, with a simple saliva transfer, link themselves to someone, slowing down that person’s movements and thoughts, igniting their desires, and sharing all their pleasure with the Icy Temptress. The pleasure they receive through the one(s) linked can completely replace any need for nutrition if frequent enough. Most will thus prioritize finding women (of any species) to be able to feel pleasure and will most likely aim to find them a man afterwards. They can use their stored energy to make ice grow from their bodies in the shape they desire. This requires a lot of concentration, and the amount of energy used depends on the amount of ice created and how long it is intended to last. PHOENIX Harpy Family Firebird Type Habitat: Mountains Disposition: Calm, timid Diet: Meat, men’s spirit energy The phoenix is a rare species of harpy that lives on mountain peaks. They are frail even compared to the common harpy. Their plumage ranges in color from dark maroon to bright red but tends toward the middle of that range at a fiery red-orange. Unlike the majority of harpies the phoenix has arms. Their wings are placed upon their backs, similar to those of angels, rather than having wings for arms. Most phoenixes have calm yet timid dispositions due to their inherent frailty; they rarely venture out of their safe havens. The lack of stamina (by mamono standards) makes phoenixes poor flyers – their bodies are quick to exhaust. They retain the ability to fly through gliding. They need only a significant height from which to get started as they cannot take to the air from the ground. The phoenix has a unique magic talent not commonly found in any other mamono. This magic is called the Healing Flame – it is fire magic that heals instead of destroys. No one is sure how it works, but rumors say that it can heal anything short of a major wound with little scarring. Phoenixes possess another healing factor that is the true reason for their usual seclusion. Their blood, much like that of the mermaid, has been known to induce minor regenerative effects when ingested. Although no evidence of it being as effective as the healing flame or actual mermaid blood has ever been documented, that has not stopped many poachers from hunting phoenixes for the same reason they would hunt mermaids thinking that the blood is some kind of miracle cure all elixir. |
