| I guess I will start us off, having just read it. This chapter was depressing and anti-climatic. The aliens, which was meant to be the main villains, are barely shown and die so quickly that they have no real powers. It bugs me, though I am a fighting manga lover. |
| Yes it bugs me as well. I was hoping for an epic battle. Or some sort of battle. But it seems it was all said & done before it even began. And it was quite depressing. Oh well, can't have everything I suppose. One chapter left. |
| Well I suppose this was never really about the aliens to begin with. Was always about the Vampires and they got the focus here. Besides suppose it was thought to be a waste to show the aliens right before they die. They were more like a natural disaster that is faceless than an actual enemy. Either way the big conclusion awaits. Hopefully the last chapter has a good battle and conclusion to this. |
| Great chapter, and even kinda expected the aliens to have at least a better trick up their sleeves, but oh well. Seems that Morishima went all the way to tell GM about what has happened, what's happening, and why. Seems that GM has finally removed the mask, but what's the appearance beneath the mask? Nice that Adelheid has fulfilled her promise to Stella on her grave on the moon though, as well as her last moments and farewell with Akabara. With the end upcoming next chapter, and Akabara's battle with Kayuki coming up, I'm curious as to how that will progress, as well as how the ending of the series would be like. |

| The past few chapters have felt like one long sayonara. I'm a bit disappointed at how much of a plot device and after thought the aliens seemed to be. But progress has been made and we get the final rematch. The best part was seeing some real emotion come out of Akabara. That was nice. DKJ |

| Adelheid had a really short run, when considering other characters, she mostly only showed in flashbacks, and on the final volumes, but this chapter made me feel a lot for her, me caring this much for her tells me she was one of the better characters, really sad to see. The aliens were rather disappointing, like others have said, they were a plot device the manga spent so much time building up, to them be hanged on air, and be dealt so anticlimatic like that, we never even ended up seeing how they looked like, how was their culture.. It was cool to see Strauss and Adelheid showing off like that, but otherwise disappointed with them, as enemies, what a joke. Still, this manga at its best pulls up a lot of interesting plot twists and concepts, and managed to develop at least 4-6 characters that I care for and want to see how they end up. That this was what destiny had chosen for Adelheid, gets me tearing a bit no lie, and there is just one more chapter to go, with this mood set, I dont see things ending happy for Strauss, at least not in the conventional defintion of happy ending. RIP Adelheid, a truly noble and beautiful soul. |
