| Rentaro In costume, a guy named Rintaro went under the stage with a small case that had a handle. When he got under it, he opened the case and planted...a bomb under the stage. The time is set for 1 hour and it has the capacity to destroy the stage and the first 3 rows. The main problem is that a play is about to go on and the whole place is full up to the rafters. If it detonates, it could kill a good 30 people. |
| Ms. Kyouji arrived at the theater and stepped out of her cab. The situation was already a bit messy, as theatergoers and workers alike stood outside a taped off barrier. "Police! Coming through!" She pushed her way through the crowd and ducked under the barrier. 4...5... She spotted five people wearing the division 2 uniform, a smaller team than she hoped for, but it'll do. "Alright, what's the situation?" After being briefed, Hoakri moved into the theater where a sixth member stood, working on the bomb that would detonate with the next 5 minutes. Disarming it was possible, but they would need another 10 minutes. Hokari had no experience with bombs, and the device in front of her was an enigma. "What's powering the bomb?" Asked Hokari. The bomb disabler, who was apparently named Roku, replied after some consideration, "This battery here." he said, pointing at a metal cylinder attached to many colored wires, "But if we move it, the bomb will detonate." Indeed that was a problem, but if the battery stopped providing a charge, the bomb would stop working. Hokari luckily didn't need to remove the battery to stop it. She placed her finger on the metal cylinder and imprinted ownership on it. The electrical current became hers and stopped working, so did the bomb. "That should buy us enough time. Roku, get the bomb to somewhere secure and finish disarming it." Murmured voiced of the crowd outside still filled the air. Whoever put the bomb here would want to see it go off, which means they would probably be in the crowd, waiting... Hokari stepped out and scanned the crowd again. If the criminal was still here, they won't be happy when the bomb doesn't go off. She spoke to another member of her division called Ichi. "Ichi, get a list of everyone attending the play today. Cross reference it with the attendance of previous plays. Let's find who doesn't belong." |
