What was an anime you dropped at first but picked again later and ended up liking?

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, At first I thought it was just going to be a bunch of stories that were irrelevant to each other and I didn't really think that would be interesting so I dropped it and about a year after that I thought that since everyone says it's so good I should give it another chance and boy am I glad I did it's one of my all time favourites now.
