Submit up to three items for this contest. This contest will last for about two whole months from November 06, 2009 to December 31, 2009.
After January 1, 2010 contest ends and you are not allow to submit anymore items. It was been extended until the next prince/princess deadline, which is on January 14, 2010. NO ACCEPTANCE AFTER JANUARY 15th.
Objective of this activity: The objective of this activity is for members of the royalty to be active and express their self through what they like to do.

Title: Prince lost in Love
“She was the right one,
In life I live and in death
I want her only.”
At once I pulled out my sword,
and the light made it reflect my past
I saw every face, heard every word,
and all my mistakes, at last
Before I went to hell, or maybe heaven
I had to see everyone again
my wife, my children, all the seven
in the future I'll see them back, but when?
I took up my life-reflecting sword,
and swung it against my enemy's
and in his eyes, his mind I heard
his mirrored life and his last wish
While penetrating my heart, he said:
'Please, I did not want to, don't be mad'
While disturbing my peace and his own,
I realized: we both will be gone...

I said: 'You don't need to bother,
both of us will no longer be in pain.'

Title: The Tale of Princess Jane

Once upon a time in a castle on a hill, lived the most beautiful princess. Everyday, Cicily was surrounded by beautiful dresses and beautiful men. She had the most wonderful lifestyle and enjoyed all the attention greatly. By her side, always in the background, was her older sister, Jane. Jane was surrounded by books and all the children who came to her to hear her weave stories. While Cicily caught the eye of every person nearby, Jane’s voice could capture the attention of every person nearby, if it had but belonged to a prettier girl. For when she read, vivid images of fairies and elves were created, but when one looked around for the source of the beauty, they saw only a plain, unimpressive girl, who did not fit the images. She had learned to become accustomed to it, although secretly in her heart, she wished for one who could see past the thick-rimmed glasses and her thin figure. While it was true that some princes sought after the first princess of the king, most of them were sensible enough (or rather, callous enough) to be interested in only her wealth and her connection to Cicily. It was also probably true that, had Cicily known about how Jane had suffered, she would have helped her sister out. But Cicily’s head was filled with too many other capricious things that she just never noticed the rare discomfort that Jane let slip. Jane was too good-hearted to bother her sister about such things.
Perhaps the only benefit of her inconspicuousness was the fact that she was able to get away from the luxurious palace bustle and escape to the town surrounding the castle. After all, none of the bustle was about her. The townspeople, who at first were also left with no impression of this seemingly unexceptional girl, soon learned to love her for her kindness and compassion. Although the people would instantly cheer if Cicily had come into town even once, Jane was gradually earning a place in their hearts as well. At the end of a long, hard week, they would look forward to when the other princess came to town and read her enchanting stories about far off places, where they could temporarily find sanctuary for a moment or two. With the love of the people, Jane could also look forward to that time once a week when she was the center of attention.
As unlovely as she appeared to be, one day a young man approached her after her storytelling and said, “I have heard much about the beautiful princess of this kingdom. I did not know though, that she would be this lovely. And believe me, I have seen quite a few beautiful princesses.”
Pleasantly surprised, she thanked him, neglecting to correct him that the beautiful princess was in fact her sister. She was still a bit shocked that she should receive such a compliment.
“Forgive me, I have not yet introduced myself, have I?” With a bow, he continued, “I am Ali. Delighted to meet you.” He straightened with a grin.
It was her turn to be enchanted. “The pleasure is mine,” she replied graciously. “Have you come here from elsewhere?”
“I have.” He named a kingdom that was far from her own. “It is very different here, but I am beginning to like it.”
“Well I hope you will be able to see more that you find to your liking.”
“Thank you.” His smile had a mischievous charm to it. “I have a feeling that I will.” As he caught sight of something behind her, his dark eyebrows shot up in alarm and hurriedly he apologized, “I’m sorry, but I must leave now. I hope to see you again soon.” With that, he turned around and hurried away.
She secretly hoped that she would also be able to meet him again. Little did she know that it would be much sooner than she had expected, and perhaps in the last place that she had expected.
“It is a pleasure for me to introduce my daughters to you—my youngest daughter, Cicily and the older, Jane,” greeted the king, later that night.
Cicily stepped forward in all her splendour towards the prince standing in front of her father. She offered him a dainty hand as he leaned to kiss it.
Jane, on the other hand, quickly regained her composition as she stepped towards him after her sister, meeting him with a quick curtsy before returning to her position behind Cicily.
“As it is mine, to meet such wonderful ladies,” said he with the sly smile.
In a prince’s silk garments, Ali looked even finer in comparison to the common peasant’s clothing that he had been wearing earlier. It was just a pity that now that he had seen Cicily, he would realize that the beautiful one was not Jane.
“Prince Ali has come in search of a princess and he has heard a lot about you, my dear.” The king said to his daughter Cicily with a wink.
“Actually, I have taken a interest in Jane,” Ali said.
“What?” The king asked, politely masking his surprise.
Jane, on the other hand, did no such thing. Her eyes widened as Ali approached her and got down on one knee.
“Princess Jane, will you marry me?”
It took her several attempts to get her voice to work. “Wh—but we’ve only met once.”
“Twice,” he corrected.
“Well, yes—”
“What? Have you met before, Jane?” asked the king, no longer hiding his surprise either.
“Yes, but really, that’s hardly enough for you to—how can you be certain that you want me to be your princess? What if I turn out to be really rotten?” Jane realized that she was perhaps spoiling her only chance of being married, but nevertheless, she was a bit confused by the rush of it all.
“But I know you won’t. Because that’s how these things work—we meet at first sight and fall in love.”
"Yes, yes, don't say such silly things, Jane. It must be fate!" encouraged the king.
It was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard. “Well…”
“Say yes, Jane!” Cicily urged.
She couldn’t refuse the smile of a prince charming. “Well, alright,” she replied, grinning. At that moment, no one could look at her exuberant face and call her plain.
“Excellent!” Ali jumped up, pulling her towards him. “And now, we kiss.”
Thus, Jane and Ali were married with the utmost speed of fairytale love, living happily ever after, as all fairytale couples must.
