So i've watched trinity soul a while ago and it was shit,i thought i should watch this since its higher rated than ts cause maybe im missing out on a good series.

Am i gonna get disappointed? Is this much different than ts(in terms of execution)?
Was trinity soul just a badly adapted anime?
Note i havent played any persona games/cant play them cause i cant find them.

Thanks in advance!

Seriously, why is this here? TS has nothing to do with P4G.

But ok, since you never played any games of this series (you should, like NOW xD), I'm going to answer this question.

First, Persona Trinity Soul is a spin-off from Persona 3 series (a canon sequel, actually, as said by ATLUS). The only reason that it had so many negative rates is because everyone was expecting a Persona 3 adaptation (you don't fuck with SMT fandom, I guess).

It was not bad at all, besides some pretty melodramatic scenes after some episodes. It was darker and psicological disturbing with some of the themes that shouldn't even be in the Persona Series, like the sexual context (especially in episode 2 and 3) about the relation between "persona" and "shadow" figures and the human being in our society (main themes of Jung's psycho-analytical theory, and of course, main theme of the Persona series, that is purely Psychology and Philosophy altogether), what made the series kinda turned for the adult side of the audience (remembering that most of persona 3 and 4 fans are 12-19 years old weeabos, unfortunately), and consequently being REALLY hated by the fandom.

Anyway, it was a pretty depressing series overall, so it wasn't a series for everyone in first place, even less for the main fandom. (In my opinion, it deserves a well rounded 8,5/10)

P4 take place in another place (even being a sequel in the same universe), while TS was in the same city of P3, but they are not related whatsoever. TS wasn't adapted from a game either.
But again, repeating, you really should consider to play this series.

I hope this helped you to understand more or less.

This is vastly different than Trinity Soul, especially if you're talking about P4GA which is more of a New Game+ story that you watch after P4A. Persona 4 overall is a much more upbeat story as its central themes revolve around truth instead of death like Persona 3 (which Trinity Soul is based from).

If you like upbeat stories with a darker story lying underneath then sure, try out P4A. But absolutely do not watch P4GA before playing the game or watching P4A, P4GA is seemingly skimping over the entire murder mystery plot in favor of animating what's new in Persona 4 Golden, so it will make zero sense without prior knowledge of the material.

If however, you're looking for something closer to Trinity Soul's atmosphere try the Persona 3 movie that came out recently. Only the first one is out so far but it's still worth checking out.

Actually the exact opposite. They've exiled it from canon. Stuff brought up in P4 and its spinoffs directly contradict information states in TS, after all.

They never exiled from the canon, those who did were the fanbase and only them.
And plus, I played and watched every single Persona game/anime, what was contradicted, in your statement?

They never even showed TS themes in other persona series, is quite impossible to contradict something (the personas also shared the same structure from both P3 and P4, just even more symbolic, related to Jung's theories).

In Arena, Adachi have a persona which invalidate TS you lost your persona when you getting older BS. Beside it kinda stupid because persona suppose to be the facarde you use to face the hardship in your life.

According to Wikipedia, seems like Persona TS is an alternative settings sequel, according to P3 fanbook, so I change my mind, I think is better to let it be a completely unrelated sequel, if comparing to P4 and Arena.

"you lost your persona when you getting older BS"

And no, this is not quite it, you just lose your ability to summon them directly. Is not like you lose your persona forever or something like that (that would be completely retarded and would contradict the main theme and purpose of the entire series).

1 You'll like it, at least.
2 Trinity soul is an adaptation of a novel. I have not read it but thats probably what the novel is like, animation aside.
3 No problem. After I watched persona 4 I had to play the game. It was still pretty fun. (and persona 3 too)
BTW you should watch the original Persona 4 The Animation first. It'll have more story than this version.
I would definitely recommend this show to almost anyone.
Especially if you like the psychological inner self stuff.

You probably did not even tried to understand, just called bad because it wasn't something similar to P3.

I ask myself if you really readed my text that you quoted above lol
