| Yeah I hope there's more as well. We can never believe anything they say since Sorachi loves to troll. I think it's about time a new season started up again. Hopefully they have one which covers all of the chapters they skipped in the last season. |

| I hope to god we get a announcement, cause if we dont I'll actually start believing the movie was serious. Though haven they waited considerably longer than they did with ginatma to gintama', maybe we will be bless with more than a 50 episode series. |

| Hmm ... if Gintama starts a new season I hope that the old and loyal fans will be watching/buying their stuff. Since nowadays the competition in anime industry has quite got difficult through excellent Animes like Shingeki no Kiyojin and Steins;Gate or Little Busters. |

| I hope to god that it does. Wasn't around when the anime was running but as I understand the other Jump Fests were responsible for the previous restarts of the anime. |

| Most likely no, it's the time but not the place, Jump Festa is not that kind of event to announce a new season. Jump has a way to announcing them, in the magazine it self, we might heard about the new season before the event and the trailer will be airing over there. Gintama is printing a lot of money to both Sunrise and Shueisha, so there is not reason for the next season to come, just need to make sure both companies wants a new season and Studio 5 of Sunrise, the ones who animate Gintama is not busy doing another series. |
| If I not fail at remember, last year's Jump Festa big secret announcement, not really, it was very anticipated, was that an anime adaptation for HQ was under production. I won't say that this is not the place to confirm a new season for Gintama, even when I agree that is likely improbable. Personally I'm so happy, so glad, that we got at least a new short animation, I've missed them so much, to see them move and their voices... (•̩̩̩̩＿•̩̩̩̩) |

| im only saying ending cause i was always getting those vibes from certain arcs as of recent, ikkou kissei in particular, of course they coudl always just conclude the story with takasugi and have a new villain in his palce which i vote highly against, he should be the final enemy of the series |

The fillers were as good as the anime itself, so even if it's full of fillers, true fans will watch it anyway.. just because it's too damn hard to skip an anime like this. |

Well, there are like 510+ chapters & the last series adapted the ones until 410, but I heard they left out quite a lot chapters. I guess there's enough stuff to work with for at least 4-cour like the 2011 anime, which had like 70-80 chapters if I'm not mistaken. |
