Sinats Beginnings I was a Celtic Berserker with wanderlust centuries past. Two beings kept me in my homeland though for years; Twin sisters which are identical in every physical way. One was a high druidess, the other a warrior of the Sidhe. After many years I could not choose between the two so I married them both. A few months later my wife Calet (the High Druidess) was taken. When our wife Telac and I found her she had been turned. The Vampire that had done so was gloating over how he would have our whole tribe to feast upon at his leisure. He was wrong; when I came to myself he was beheaded. My wife Telac and I, not wanting to be separated from Calet, Had her turn us as well. Since all three of us shared of our blood all three of us gained knowledge and skills we did not before have. Since our own people could not accept us as we were we left our homeland. We journeyed generally east. Our next major stop was in Egypt. There we found the land in turmoil; as the ruling body had gone into a long vampiric sleep. After trying several times to talk to the Magi, I finally hit upon the expedient means of getting their attention by challenging a member of one of the hierarchies of their order. After defeating the Magi in one on one combat, therefore becoming an honorary Magi. I then talked with the Magi at length. My wives and I, accompanied by one of their order, went in search of an heir. We finally found Ramses in the war torn area around Persia. After getting Ramses enthroned; my wives and I spent several years in relative comfort and safety while training in the ways of the Magi. Once again, after about 50 years, wanderlust took us over. We headed east again. We next stopped to indulge our thirst for a prolonged period in India. In India we had no trouble feeding as they were constantly warring. It was during one of our nightly excursions that we came upon one we thought was dead. It turned out the man was a Llama. From partaking of his blood and essence we gained the knowledge of astral travel. While exercising this new ability we learned of places even further east where others had this knowledge. Once again we journeyed east. Once in China we once again had to be careful of our thirst. We spent quite a bit of our time using our telepathy to pick up the local customs and language. Once we were proficient in Chinese we began to venture forth with more regularity. We once again searched for more knowledge; a thirst which we never seem to quench. After a few years of searching for something that kept eluding me; I heard of the Shaolin. An order dedicated to peace, balance, and life. After a few more years of searching for one of the Shaolin order I finally found one whom, though I was not human, was willing to take me as a pupil. With my teacher I learned much. I learned that with my turning I had still retained a bit of what most of our kind lose, a bit of humanity. After several years of his teachings, including acupuncture, Kung-Fu, as well as other techniques to numerous to mention; my teacher and friend taught me the dim-mak; the touch of life and death. A few weeks later I returned from a business venture to find my existence torn asunder. I found both of my wives as well as my friend, and teacher dead? |

Sinat part 2 I have finally tracked down the last of “The Black Dragons“. They were the rouge shaolin order that hunted down and killed my friend and teacher as well as killing my wives. I take my time with this one for he was the one that was in charge of the group that did the killing. I feed off of his fear as I toy with him. I know he will not feel the lose, and pain I have felt this past year, however he will feel the fear and pain that only one of our kind can inflict. I use my telepathy to keep him off balance as I nick him here and there with my butterfly swords. Finally when I can bear the scent of his blood no longer; I clear the fog in his head long enough to tell him; “ For he whom you slaughtered as well as my wives I now take your essence and blood for my nourishment.” As soon as I see comprehension light in his eyes I behead him. Before the body can move even an inch I stick my fangs into the severed neck. Making sure not to get anything on me or my attire I lower the corpse to the floor, wipe my swords on his clothing; lock them together and sheath it. As I rise I notice a presence that wasn’t there a second ago. I feel a bit of trepidation now, after all I would of felt a mortal, or most of our kind before they got this close. This unknown one is indeed powerful; not only did I not feel them until they wanted me to but they also know how not to have any scent. All this goes through my mind in less than a blink of an eye. When I finish rising I am facing the direction of the presence I feel. Only one possibility comes to mind : Jaho. “ I would offer you a drink.” motioning at the corpse. “However there is only enough left to make sure our kind is not detected. Will you come out so we can talk in a civilized manner?” After a few moments he appears out of the shadows. “Thank you for the offer.” He says ”However as you said there is not enough left.” “Meetings are not an easy thing for our kind; I am Sinat Bloodstone. And you, if I am not mistaken, are the great Jaho of which I have heard.” “Yes I am Jaho.” He looks down at the head of the corpse. “ You know I should be angered at you for taking my mark. However after hearing what you said right before you beheaded him I can understand your need to be the one to bereave him of his life.” I look at Jaho more fully realizing that he is indeed attired for the hunt. “ Than I apologize for the inconvenience to you Great Jaho. I was unaware that this scum was of any interest to you.” *Jaho then locks his gaze with mine; Opening a psychic link between us.* I could resist this however I don’t. *”Show me why you deprived me of my mark.”* Gathering my thoughts into the proper order I send one Image. *Once again I see my friend and teacher as I found him a year ago; dead and desecrated. Dishonored by the means of his death I do what I can to lay his body to rights. It is then that I notice the absence of my wives presence. I start searching for them. I find them in much the same condition as I found my friend. Both of them beheaded, both of them desecrated. Calet’s holy symbol of Danu, and Telac’s sword of the Sidhe taken as well. After I laid them out on their pyres and sent them on their way I then found that my teachers scrolls were missing. Only one thing is here to track the killers by; the symbol of the Black Dragon’s a rouge shaolin order. I follow this with a few images of my hunt for the Black Dragons ending with this one.* After a few moments Jaho looks at me with a look bordering on compassion. *”I understand why you have done what you did. I can also tell you actually have no interest in collecting the fee on this ones death. I will take the proof I need to collect on him and …No I will not leave you in peace for I can tell if I left you would greet the sun. Your wives would not want you to do this. Nor would your teacher and you know it. I can read it in you.”* I look at Jaho startled for I did not know that he saw so deep into me. I had indeed thought of greeting the sun and joining my loved ones; However as he pointed out they would not want me to do this. For I would be doing the one thing I have never done; Give up. *”I thank you for the wake up call Jaho. If there is anything I can ever do for you it is yours for the asking. I now consider thee as a friend; And If thou wouldst permit even as a brother ?”* Jaho watch’s me as I gather up those things stolen as trophy’s by the one that I had finally killed. First I find Calet’s holy symbol of Danu and place it around my own neck. Then I find Telac’s sword of the Sidhe and buckle it on beside my own blade. I then look for my teacher’s scrolls finally finding them in a hidden nook in the wall. These I pack with care, for no matter where I go from here these will I ever keep with me. I look at Jaho after I do all this. *”You have been silent for awhile is there something the matter?”* *” It is this gift you have offered me of brotherhood. How can such exist between two such as us? “* I lean against a wall really taking a good look at, and psychic feel of the surface of, Jaho.*”You have been a vampire for quit a while Jaho. It is not something that most vampire’s would suggest . However you yourself showed me that there is a bit of who we were before we turned still in us. So for that and also for my existence I offer you brotherhood.”* Jaho thinks a moment as he takes and packs what he needs for the collection of the contract. *” I believe I will take your offered brotherhood.”* Upon hearing this I take out a jar of an ointment that Calet used to make, and open it. ”*This ointment one of my wives used to make for the marking ceremonies our people had; before we turned. She had added to it so it will work on us who no longer scar. By the rites of my original people we would both smear this ointment upon our left hands; After this we would slice our left palms using the other’s blade just enough to draw blood. Then we would bind our left hands together palm to palm, over a chalice until the bleeding stopped. After this while our hands were still bound mead would be added to the chalice and we would both drink from the chalice therefore becoming brothers.”* I bring out a chalice putting it beside the ointment, I also bring out a leather strap putting it between the two. *”I believe we can do without the mead; Don’t you?”* Jaho looks at the implements I’ve laid out, then moves to the opposite side of them from me. *” I believe you are correct that we can do without the mead.”* We both kneel in unison, as we do so we both take out our short blade’s. We lay them hilt towards the other as a symbol of trust. We coat our left hand with the ointment, holding them over the chalice we then take the other’s blade and cut open our own hand. As the blood begins to drop from our hands into the chalice we clasp them together. I take up the leather strip and bind our hands together. When the blood stops the chalice is almost full. *”After you Jaho.”* He takes up the chalice swirling it gently to better mix the blood; He drinks about half of the combined blood. He then hands the chalice to me; *”Your turn Sinat.”* I drink the rest down savoring the taste as well as the essence of the blood. We receive impressions of each others past. We are now joined as friends and brothers truly. As I undo the leather I look at Jaho. *”Thus we are joined as brothers. I know I am going to go into seclusion for a while. However before I do there are things we need to share information about that we just shared through the blood and essence.”* His eyes become distant. *”I agree that we need to share some information and such. However after all we have done this night there is one thing we both need to do . We need to hunt; shall we my new brother.”* I smile slightly. *”Yes we shall my brother, yes we shall.”* This is how Jaho became my brother. After all what is anybody; be they mortal or immortal; without family of one sort or another. |

Sinat part 3 As Krovash enters Amon-Set’s Lair to find Janni in his fog form he hears Janni’s screams as she is being tortured. He finds Janni being tortured by one of Amon-Set’s followers. He materializes behind the follower already swinging his blade and beheading the follower. After dispatching the follower of Amon-Set he kneels beside Janni, which he finds to be almost beyond any help. Krovash realizes that Janni will fade very quickly if she does not receive immediate sustenance. He opens his wrist for her to draw upon so she can last long enough to be taken home. As Janni opens her mouth to draw from him a slight grin shows in her eyes. She then sinks her fangs into Krovash’s wrist immediately drawing on both his blood and, very surprising to Krovash, his essence. At that moment the door to the room slams shut and seals preventing any escape from the room so tight is the seal. In the time it takes Krovash to look at the door in surprise and back at Janni; Janni is no longer laying on the floor sucking on his wrist instead he is looking up at a Vampire he has never seen before. Weakly Krovash looks at this Vampire "Who the hell are you?" The Vampire looks at Krovash scornfully as he continues to draw from Krovash’s essence. "Why Krovash you and your family should be more careful whom you anger. After all the Magi gave the care of Cairo to Amon-Set long ago not the assimites. For that as well as the dishonor you and your family have caused to my brother, The Vampire Jaho, you shall cease to exist as shall your family." At that moment the door opens from the outside as Jaho steps in; expecting to see Amon-Set or one of his followers he is unusually surprised at seeing Krovash kneeling before his brother. " Ah brother Jaho right on time a gift for thee." Motioning toward Krovash. Jaho grins as he takes out his To. "It has been to long since last we met brother Sinat and yet here you are with a most welcome present." Jaho with great enjoyment beheads Krovash, just as a very weakened and bound Janni is brought into the room by Amon-Set. "As thou ordered Magi so have we done." Amon-Set bows respectfully to Sinat. Sinat returns Jaho’s grin " And one other gift as well; I believe you are in need of this slut?" As I throw Janni to Jaho’s feet. "I am coming out of seclusion my brother there is much afoot it seems, and I feel you may be in need of me before to long. As well I still owe thee for when we met. It is nice to see thee again anyway my brother." Yes there is much afoot at this time." Jaho looks down at Janni grinning wickedly. "And yes I am in need of this slut. It is nice to see thee as well my brother." Jaho picks up Janni roughly preparing to depart. "Now the world at large does need to tremble for we are reunited after all these years. There is not much that can stand against…. Sinat Bloodstone and The Vampire Jaho |

um.. here's a story i wrote a while ago. it's also in my blog. i also think that i can write better than this now. but meh. enjoy! Like a Family who aren't related. This a story I wrote for a short story competition. I came second. Oh well. Enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Like a family who aren't related November 18th, a day I'll remember forever. The anniversary of the death of my parents. As I looked at the gravestone engraved 'Kai Quintus' I thought of my father. I remembered him being a man with an athletic build, black hair and green eyes. My mother's gravestone, engraved with the name, 'Jennifer Quintus', stood next to my father's. I could always remember my mother's blonde hair, blue eyes and most of all, her calm voice. I had inherited my father's black hair and my mother's height. I had both their eyes because I was heterochromic, meaning my right eye was green and my left, blue. The rain got heavier so I decided to go home. As I walked through the door I was hit what felt like a frying pan. "What on earth do you think you're doing Christine!" I shouted. I opened my eyes to find Christine in an apron with her hands on her waist and in her left hand was a frying pan. She shouted back, "Well what the hell do you think you're doing out in the rain without a coat Kai?" "You're worried about me. That proves you love me." "Eww! Shut up! There will never be anything between us!" "Then why are you worried about me?" "Just… just… shut you annoying little twit!" She replied irritated. I smiled at Christine for I loved her. I loved her red hair. I loved her grey-blue eyes. I loved her fiery, aggressive temper. However she wasn't aware of my feelings. "What on earth are you guys complaining about now?" Said a familiar voice. I laughed as Neo walked down the stairs. Christine replied, "It's Kai. He went outside in the rain without a coat!" "Are you a moron Tine? What's today's date?" Asked Neo. "November 18th. Oh. Crap. I'm sorry Kai. I forgot." She said quietly. Before I could say anything, she ran upstairs. "How are you feeling?" Asked Neo. I smiled and said, "I've been better." "Just remember, we know what you're going through." "Well duh. We're all orphans." I replied. Christine and Neo were fellow orphans; and the only family I had. I met Christine when I was ten; three years after my parents were killed. I found her crying by a river. After I brought her to my house, she told me that she ran away from her adopted family because they were the sort of people who were nice for show but behind closed doors, they were monsters. As for Neo, there was a riot outside the house and Christine and I found him sitting next to his parents' corpses after the riot was over. "Hey Neo do you need help getting down the stairs?" I asked. "No Kai. I may be blind but I don't want help." He replied. That's what I admired about him, Neo was only nine and yet he seemed do mature. He kept walking until he was in front of me. He had amazing instinct. "Kai, could you teach me magic?" "What? Why?" "It's cool. And it's a dream of mine to be a mage; a blind mage." "Sure but not now, it's time for bed." "Stop treating me like a kid." "News flash, you are." "You only want me gone so you can be all alone with Christine." "Go to bed Neolito!" I shouted as I blushed a bright shade of red. After fighting to put Neo to bed I decided to see Christine. I opened her door and to my pleasure, I, uh, mean, horror, she had her shirt off. I had never blushed so much in my life. "Kai get out you pervert!" She shouted as she threw her perfume. It landed directly at the side of my head, causing me to faint. I woke up to find myself lying on a bed. Christine was facing away from me but her hand was on my forehead. Her touch was so nice. That's another thing we had in common, Christine and I were mages. While her special ability was healing; mine was to control fire and water. Not to brag, but I was a well known mage with apparently outstanding skill. I continued to watch Christine. I noticed she kept wiping her face with her hand. I figured she was crying. I decided not to ask what was wrong or she might have suspected I was watching her; so instead I said, "You know Christine, I swear I'm a walking target to you." "Oh Kai!" She replied shocked. "How are you?" "I'm fine. The perfume probably fragranced my head." "I'm so sorry. That's three times I've done something stupid today." "The frying pan in the face I admit I deserved, the perfume at the head I deserved because I didn't knock, and, Tine, don't worry about you forgot. It happened eight years ago. I'm over their deaths." "Stop lying." "Alright. I admit I still get upset from time to time." I answered. This seemed to make her more upset. I knew what would cheer her up. I made a small fireball in my hand and arranged it in a smiley, and then I made it float in front of her. I could hear her laugh. "Hey Tine," I said, "Thanks for healing me." "It was nothing." She sighed. Surprisingly she rested herself on my chest. I thought now would be the perfect time to tell her my feelings. "Chrissy, we've been friends for about five years now." "And? What of it?" "Well… I like you-" I said, however I interrupted by her snoring. Just my luck, I get the confidence and she falls asleep. A few hours later I was woken by the horrible feeling of needing to going to the toilet. As I got out of bed I saw the moonlight reflect off Neo's long, light, blonde hair. In the year that I had known him, Neo has never wanted a haircut. After I 'emptied my tank' I went downstairs to get a glass of water. While I drank, I thought of how I managed to get this house. After my parents died I lived on the streets until I was eight, then to make money, I performed magic in front of people. Soon enough I got popular and people would ask if I would do jobs for them. The rewards were fantastic. One man, whose cat I saved, was a property owner and he gave me this house when I ten. My moment of tranquillity was shattered when I heard Neo scream, "Kai! Help us!" I ran upstairs and found Christine and Neo elevated in the air surrounded by a turquoise aura. Under them was my parents' murderer, my older sister, Cassandra. "Cassandra! Let them go!" I shouted fiercely. She still had her cold face. Those cold green eyes. "Now now little brother," she said, "Calm down. I see you haven't changed in eight years." "I see you're still heartless." "What have I done Kai?" "Don't mess about! Exactly eight years ago you killed our parents for no reason at all and you ask 'what have I done'!" "I had a reason. Mum and Dad were powerful mages and they would never teach me anything remotely powerful because they were too focused on you." "I recall it as Mum and Dad didn't teach you because they sensed you had evil intentions. Why have you come for me after all these years?" "Rumour has it you're the most powerful mage around. Now fight me!" "No!" "Fine. Your friends are history. Just like our parents." She said coldly. Cassandra then clenched her hand into a fist. I see the look of suffering on Christine and Neo's faces. "What are you doing to them?" I shouted angrily. Cassandra mockingly blew her nails and happily said, "I'm suffocating them because their friend is such a wimp. You have a choice Kai, or they die a slow and painful death." I looked at my friends. I thought of how scared they must be; especially Neo. This angered me so much, so I shot a fireball that hit my sister in her arm. We continued our battle for several minutes. In those minutes I fired many fireballs and so did Cassandra, although, her aim was a lot more accurate and therefore I suffered a lot more pain. While fighting I stole a few glances at Christine and Neo. The heartbreaking look of suffering was gone from their faces. My plan to distract Cassandra from there grasp she had on them had worked. Something had occurred to me. My sister may have known advanced magic, which is why she has my friends hostage, but I knew one spell that could take away any magical ability. Although it would leave me weak for a week. I stood back and held my arm out. Cassandra seemed focused on me that Christine and Neo fell from the turquoise aura. I took a deep breath and said, "Neko, ookami, ryu, mangaka. I summon thee!" A purple beam shot from my hand and hit Cassandra's chest. She laughed, "What the hell was that! It didn't hurt!" She attempted to shoot a fireball with little success. She shouted in rage, "Kai! You did the magic disarm spell didn't you?!" "Yep." I replied as I walked up to her. She fell to her knees and said, "I'm finished. Kill me." "No Cassandra. I'll never stoop to your level." "I thought you'd say that." My sister unexpectedly grabbed me from behind and took a small leather bag from her pocket. On the bag it read, 'Explosion powder'. "If you won't kill me, I'll kill us all!" She shouted manically as she threw the powder in the air. "Tine!" I shouted, "Take Neo and run!" "No I won't let go!" "Just go! My time is up!" "I can't leave you! I love you Kai!" "I love you too! Now go! Neo, I'm sorry I couldn't teach you magic." I said. I saw Christine pick up Neo and run down the stairs. "No! Kai! Don't go!" Neo cried. His tears and Christine's confession made me cry. As I opened my eyes, my vision was blurry. Everything was white. My first thoughts were that I was dead; until my sight went into focus and I came into reality. I was in hospital and very much alive. Christine was to my left, asleep, and Neo was to my right, awake. "Kai? Are you awake?" He asked. I sat up and said, "Yep." Neo jumped off his chair and hugged me. This woke Christine up. She looked at me. "Oh my god! Kai!" She shouted excitedly. She too, hugged me. I asked, "How am I still alive, the house did blow up didn't it?" "The house blew up." Christine answered, "How you survived, well…" She turned while blushing and said, "While I healed you that night, I accidentally put a protection spell on you." "So you saved my life…" "Well yeah, but-" I interrupted her by kissing her on the lips. Suddenly I felt like I was in heaven. Aside from Neo chanting, "Tine and Kai sitting in a tree, doing something they shouldn't be. Begins with 's' ends with 'x'. Oh my god it must be-" "Shut up Neo." Christine and I said in unison. I laid back down. I looked at Neo. He was like a kid brother to me. I looked at Christine. She was the love of my life. Reality came to me again. These two, to me, where like my family who aren't related. |

um... here's just the prologue of the story im writing... i haven't gotten far cuz of writters block but yeah... this is just the prologue ^^''... “Alex! Alex! Alex, sweetie where are you?” My mother had busted into my room with a tear-streaked face. “There you are,” she gasped. “What’s wrong mommy?” I ran toward her, loving the swooshing sound my dress made. Instead of scooping me into her arms like she normally would, she grabbed an empty suitcase that laid next to the doorway. “You’re going to go stay with Aunt Linda for awhile.” She took a deep breath and started stuffing my clothes in the suitcase. I was going to ask her why I was going over to Aunt Linda’s but my father’s voice interrupted me. “Stay back! If you even try to touch them, I’ll rip you all limb from limb!” The sound of men yelling and furniture being thrown intermitted the rest of my father’s voice. The next thing I knew, my mother had unlatched my bedroom window and had thrown the suitcase out. “Honey, come here.” My mother held out her hand, waiting for me to grab hold of it. “Hurry!” “What about daddy?” “Daddy’s coming later, with me.” She pulled me onto her back and climbed out the windowpane. I clung to her tightly in fear of falling. “Sonya! Hurry!” I peered over my shoulder to see my Aunt Linda standing a few feet below. My mother was about to answer my aunt but a man’s voice echoed throughout the house, “Find that girl! Search every inch of this house!” My mother dropped lightly on the balms of her feet and darted towards the black escalade that hummed silently in the night. “So honey,” she said, “Aunt Linda’s going to take you on a trip, okay?” “Aren’t you and daddy going too? Why can’t we all go together? Mommy, where’s daddy? We should go find him.” I started walking towards the house but my mother caught hold of my wrist. I looked at her. She was crying all over again. Why is she crying? I remembered asking myself that. Then I started to shed tears and cry as well. “Oh honey, come here.” She pulled me into a tight embrace. “Just think of it as a game of tag. Daddy and I’ll count to a hundred and then we’ll come get you.” I could feel her tears drop onto my head. “Daddy and I just have to pack our things first. I promise.” I don’t know how but I beamed up the moment she said tag. I had placed my tiny fingers on her face in an attempt to wipe her tears away. “Okay. And you promise that you’ll come get me, right?” My mother smiled forcibly, “I promise.” She pulled my hands from her face and carried me into the backseat of the car. “Sonya, you should come with us.” Aunt Linda had been sitting silently in the driver’s seat, looking anxiously in the rearview mirror. “I can’t hear him,” Aunt Linda hesitated, “It’s probably too late for him. You should come, while you still have a chance.” She looked at my mother. “The moment I leave this driveway, I won’t turn back.” My mother’s face turned hard and her voice was so cold, “I understand that. But I won’t abandon my husband.” Her features softened and she leaned in and kissed me on the forehead. “Daddy and I love you so much.” “Of course you do. What’s there not to love?” I giggled. I’d say that I was a bit conceited then. “I love you and daddy too.” I smiled brightly. “Mommy, you have to start counting!” “There she is! They’re getting away!” I tried to look behind me but I was buckled in and couldn’t see that far. Alarmed, Aunt Linda said, “We have to go. Now!” “Mommy?” “We’ll come get you sweetie. We love you. One, two, three-“ In a heartbeat the car sped off into the night. I took of my seatbelt and looked back at the house to see men swarming out towards my mother. “Put your seatbelt back on, Alex.” Aunt Linda didn’t even hassle to look back. She just kept looking ahead. He knuckles turned white as she clenched the steering wheel. I struggled to see my mother but the wild forests and the pitch black night covered any chance of seeing her. Hesitating, I buckled back into my seat and counted quietly to myself. “Four, five, six…” When I reached a hundred, they never came. It was my sixth birthday then. We just came home from celebrating it and then I had to leave. They promised they would come get me. Well, she promised. I just turned six that day. That exact day, my family was torn apart. She said they’d come. So why didn’t they? That was nine years ago and they still haven’t come. She broke her promise. |
