THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

This anime is very unrealistic. Why does no one ever notice them transforming??? They had barely even started running away and literally no one notices??? How much light does the henshin cast off? It looks like a considerable amount, I'd say. Awfully conspicuous that that light isn't seen by anyone at all, I'd say. Yep, I'd say it alright. And REALLY, HAPPINESS CHARGE? No one ever notices that the girls disappear and the Cure show up?!?! And they even have the same voices! I mean, get with the program, Toei. Significant plot holes like these are why I'm dropping this show. I can't take it any more. Gosh.

I don't know how kids put up with this stuff these days shirley they care about storytelling and cinematography and would like to see proper writing because it's not like this show has anything else going for it because fun can't be objectively good.

yuri factor only a 6.725/10 in this episode because Blue forbid the Cures from romance.

If the Illusionary Empire is a global problem, why do we not see the world leaders and the UN get involved? A global problem creates endless possibilities with plot in terms of complex political wrangling, mind games and game theory. Happiness Charge had the potential to be as excellent as Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (GED). Yet instead of developing genuinely deep, sophisticated and relatable characters like GED, Toei decides to feed the viewers a load of schizophrenic hogwash.

How can "normal" life even exist? It totally unrealistic to see schizophrenically happy girls just mucking around in the face of such crisis. They make food, do fashion instead of doing all-out training to become stronger so that they can face the Phantom. Realistically, there would be a compulsory draft of anyone over 12 into the army to fight against the Illusionary Empire.

Toei really makes a complete mockery of human intelligence with their whole PreCure franchise.

This anime is very unrealistic.

Its totally realistic, people use magic every day. I saw a girl just the other day walk out of a school and transform in to magical girl. Pretty Cure is a real thing. Magic exists.

This episode of Happiness Charge shows why keeping to schedule is a bad thing. Since they only had a week to animate it, all of the heads are horribly off-model in this episode.

This is because Toei are a bad animation studio for trying to keep to such a pointless and arbitrary concept like a deadline. If SHAFT were doing this. They would just delay all of the episodes until the beginning of February and release them all at once. That's a much better way of doing things. Just look at how much more highly-rated Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica is on MAL compared to Happiness Charge! They're both in the same genre, yet Madoka is rated a whole 1.50 points higher! That shows that SHAFT are objectively right for constantly delaying things, then releasing them at once and that Toei are objectively wrong for charging on to make the deadline with no regard to actual quality.

Oh well. At least this episode had chicken.

Well we finally finished a team of Cures. Great to see all the Fresh members. That was one of my favorite seasons.

As for the episode, it was good. Just the yearly Wedding Day episode. Have to say I liked this one a bit more. We also got are reminder that Cure's can't be in relationships. Hope more of why that is comes up later. The fight was really good. The only I wish to see is one of Princess forms doing a bit more battle then dancing. Maybe next time.

Next episode looks good, can't wait.

Blue is such a mood killer this episode. Literally said a few lines and toned the mood down like it was nobody's business. I mean the girls (and Seiji) were pretty much enjoying the hell out of themselves, talking about the future and the lovely wedding dresses to complete every girls' dreams, and Blue just crashes them with 2 lines. Seriously, I expect a better person from someone who's a bloody God, especially a blue one.

So why can't they have boyfriends in the first place? And what implication was Blue on that they were talking about girls? I can speculate that Blue is indeed a manwhore and I bet he keeps all the Cures to himself because he's not human enough to get a girlfriend. No wonder he keeps Hime all day and night in the same house despite not being related. I almost feel both envious and confused. A relationship, especially a pure one, should not hinder the experience of being a Precure, in fact it would do the opposite. Can Hime not ever be a princess? Why is she Cure Princess then? What the actual hell.

At least Cure Honey makes up the episode. Honey is literally love and should be the main character.

It should be fairly obvious by this point that Blue once fell in love with the girl who is now Queen Mirage. Something went wrong, and she either turned evil and was sealed in the Axia box, or was sealed in the Axia box and then turned evil. Either way, Blue's bad experience with love, and the fact that Mirage's bad experience with love is what's causing her to try to destroy it wherever she sees it in the world, is why Blue is forbidding the Precures to have relationships.

Another ace episode :D

Didn't we already have Cure Peach!?!

But yeah, i notice the drawing of the head in other scenes really felt out of place and feels derpy :9

And why the hell is one of the minor characters(Elena) look like Ooe Kaneda from Chihayafuru!?!?!

Blue is a mood killer, but we already know that he had a fall out with one of the ladies(Queen Mirage), so it's possible he doesn't want the girls to make the same mistake he made. Still a stupid decision though.

I'm very surprised Iona is conversing with the team. It's seems she's getting used to them except for Hime :

I understand she doesn't like weak people, but sooner or later she'lll need her help!!

Also is the groom voiced by Yuki Kaiji?!?! X___x

Everyone is doing the aloha dance!!

And yay Cure Honey gave the final attack!!!

Yeah they could have flown out of the even like Cure Fortune so that they can change back to their normal human form.

This feels like superman all over again!

I hope Cure Fortune slowly joins the team!!! Maybe Queen Mirage herself will finally make an actual appearance to the Precures!!

Can't wait for the next episode!!

Why does Iona knows that Hime is Cure princess?? And then I thought: Maybe she saw Hime transformation.

The, The bride Sairak looks good in that wedding dress.

I want to know why Fortune isn't affected to Hula Dance of Princess? Well... Now we know who is Iona's sister.

I also love Cure Honey final attack with the giant clover coming from space.

I guess that's because she's a fortune teller.

LOL!

EDIT: Am I the only one quite tired of the rice hype this series is doing? Honey is a bit too obsessed with it...

I ALSO REALLY dislike how they get their cards this time. Where they have to scratch the nose and everything. So lame. Why can't it be like any other series of Precure and they mostly just appear?

Another nice episode! The girls did their best to prepare a happy, but kinda weirdly set wedding, fried chicken ftw.

I hope we get more Iona focus soon, it's sad to see her go by herself in her seek for revenge, this time with her sister not even being able to attend the wedding of a friend.
