Really love the animation style of this series and it's just so... weird.

That being said, I still didn't like the plot of this episode but we'll just have to wait and see where things go. Still hooked on the opening, reminds me again of what Tim Burton would do if he were to go the anime route since it's pretty similar to late 80s Batman-esque music. The style of the anime reminds me a little of Nightmare Before Christmas for some reason too. Anyways, enough comparing, can't wait for the next episode.

Weird episode lol. That Kitaro boy really a weirdo, 2 episodes already you still can't tell if he's 'evil' or the 'good'. Love the music in it~

'The mononokes dance all night' haha.

I loled at the end, Keitaro was left stupefied :D
Anyways its a pretty odd series but so far I'm liking it.
And I also really like the opening theme, it has a very catchy beat.

I'm glad that Mizuki is back. The whole episode was odd, but very fun to watch. I don't think both of those vampires are dead yet.

I adore the art style. But for some reason the story telling so far seems kinda like 'Grizzly tales for gruesome kids' UK TV program

A cheesy horror at best. Hope to see it improve story wise sooner rather than later.

Yeah, some story improvement would be nice. But I think I'd keep watching it anyways for the art. And the OP is very addictive.

It is such a disturbing and creepy show, but it is so compelling! I think I liked this episode more than the first one.

This episode bored me, although a bit less than the first. Sure, the art is cool, but a show needs more than a cool art style to be interesting. I'll still give it a chance, it has lots of potential.

lol I like how they've portrayed Kintaro. Genius.
Anyway, I agree with jobocan, this episode was boring :D
Also, I really like the opening. Very funky!

loled so hard during the first minutes of this episode. The OP reminds me of Hyouge Mono's OP and I will probably watch it every time. Am I the only one that thinks Kitaro looks like an oversized bumble bee with that vest?
The atmosphere change so rapidly, from funny - I was ROFLing at the Ratman scenes, then serious - uh we have a big shot in this series, then creepy and yeey Kitaro has both eyes closed, so he really has both eyes.
lol "I win!" translated as "Yoink!", Shinsen's trolling XD
So there's always a funny twist at the end of an episode. Awfully entertaining so far. Muahaha this is the perfect break during exams!

Hope I won't be scolded for reviving old topics ^^;

While the vampires story was uninteresting, the "duel" was funny.

But the good part was that Kitarô and his father showed Mizuki the gratitude they should have for years. (they still "murdered" his mother though)

Nezumi Otoko is still the same rat bastard he always was. Damn though, he's OLD!

Got a good chuckle out of this scene. Another good episode. The sparsity of comedy makes these episodes feel longer than they actually are, but I don't mind it, since what is shown is still very engaging.
