| Another person letting go of the feelings they've carried for Mugi for years... I can't say that I felt the impact as much as those times, but Mugi's reaction was what made things different this time. It's the first time he suffers so much after rejecting a girl, I actually felt bad for him. And that's not even considering the issue of facing Yuu after what happened the night before. In a general sense a complication like this might serve to strengthen their relationship, but Yuu is a person who hides her feelings really deep and when Mugi is always the one playing chase, I fear this will just set him back quite the distance. I still like that there wasn't a magical solution in the end, like Hinako calling Yuu and explaining why Mugi would not come to get her. |
