THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Sera got her just desserts in the end and learnt her lesson about bullying. However, I don't feel it's a happy ending until those who participated in the bullying repented. |

So the moral of the story is "don't help anyone getting bullied, just say you wanted to help after the crowd has left, self-preserve". |

I had completely forgotten about this, then it came to me: "Oh yeah, the manga with the best synopsis ever". Some bully situation happen in the school. I could not describe it better myself. A generic plot that conveys absolutely nothing useful about the issue, using a stereotypical and far-fetched scenario instead. As I've said before: Can't really say anything about it, but the theme could make it work... if done right. Vitamin is wonderful, for instance, but not everybody has the skills to describe bullying so well. My most pessimistic expectations were, however, far surpassed. Not only this manages to fall into every single trap you can find when trying to portray bullying in fiction, it adds abysmal production values to the mix. Definitely one of those comically bad pieces of entertainment. |

Great revenge story. Too bad that wasn't the point. I will admit I was rooting for Sera's hair to get cut ever since the plot turned, nothing like a good, long-term, public spectacle. I went through this crap in school, K-12 only helped once, the bitch deserved more than she got. |

The story is so lame that it failed in almost every way to convey what they wanted to tell with this OVA, which is why they felt the need to use the narrator, still didn't work. The friend is probably what bothers me the most, I doubt most people are going to find her sincere in this sort of situation. lanblade said: So the moral of the story is "don't help anyone getting bullied, just say you wanted to help after the crowd has left, self-preserve". Exactly. What's the use if the narrator tells kids that this is a wrong thing to do, when you show them with the story itself that you can be forgiven for it? it's similar with the bully too, I don't get it. |

Very short, the ideal is interesting but 12 minute is terribly short so it ends up being a very average show. I wish there was more but alas |

Woah, some of those scenes looked straight out of a horror anime. Can't say I really enjoyed this though, the characters make no sense.... |

I know kids can be assholes; but for the entire school to physically and mentally torture one girl because she ripped the popular girl's bag?!?!?!?! And then abuse, assault, and torture the popular girl because her family went into debt is SOOOOOOOOOOOO unrealistic!!!! And the icing on the cake is that the teachers saw the girl being bulled and DIDN'T do a damn thing because the rich girl's dad owned the school. What sick person made this to be an after school special? What is wrong with these people |
