DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I can't hep but agree with her, if you're going to make such a drastic change you need to consult the people who will be affected. she's old enough that they could have put off the boarding house idea until they'd shipped her off to college. stealing her room, forcing her to live with someone she goes to school with and whom she may hate for all they know, is extremely insensitive and horrendously selfish. I'm not saying that she's not being selfish too, but since she was never given the chance to so much as weigh in on the idea I can't see how it would even be concievable that she would be pissed. someone with a lesser character would probably have gotten violent over such callous treatment from the people who are supposed to care about her the most. its hard to judge the cup breaking scene though without hearing the girl's voice, if she was sincere about her apology then Miku was overreacting somewhat, though I wouldn't really expect her to not be upset over something like that. especially when her life, dreams, emotions, and opinions have just been trampled over by people she thought she could trust. I also wouldn't expect the interlopers to understand why she was so upset since she wasn't able to articulate the importance of what she had lost. I'm kinda curious to see how they'll destroy the perfectly good relationship she has now to force her into a relationship with the new boarder, though honestly I think I'll wind up dropping this series before it gets that far. |
