| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Holy, shit that's a lot of strikeouts this episode. I really like the way the music was handled though. Eijun's pitches definitely improved with power. That's right, "NICE ONE!" To make it into the big leagues though, they're probably going to need more than just skill even practcing 200 pitches a day. Tense/5 |

| That pitcher is on a whole other level than Sawamura and Furuya. His ball control is top notch. Plus the team was practicing to hit High speed pitches. They're going to have to use Sawamura's unpredictable pitch pattern for the next game. |

| Good episode. I can't wait for the game to start. Hopefully they adapt the game well from the manga. But I doubt Production I.G. and Madhouse will disappoint. I like Shunshin's character, though he may appear uptight, he's just that passionate about baseball. |

| Build-up time. It's going to be a good match: precision v speedy & sawamura. The heat's going to be a major problem, making Furuya the second Seido pitcher with a critical issue. |

| Good episode, a nice set up for the upcoming game. Of course something will happen with Furuya and the weather :/ I really don't want it too but that will give Eijun a chance to pitch. I hope Seido will come out victorious in the next game, it'll definitely be a tough one! |

| I love how Shunshin doesn't see much in Furuya's pitches since he's right. All Furuya has atm is speed, unlike Shunshin who also has control. He will be a deadly opponent for Seidou. And it's just like Miyuki to notice that the heat is even worse for Furuya solely because he's never had to experience such hot weather. Poor guy, there's really nothing you can do about it since you can't adapt that quickly. Anyways, this will finally be Seidou's very first challenge for the summer tournament! |

| Subtracting Sawamura prominence as always. Heat, heat. It will be difficult to Furuya, and Shun it's throwing accurately but especially with passion. I just hope that soon Sawamura stands out more because nobody takes him seriously. |

| Damn. Looks like Furuya's body isn't too adapted to the weather yet. He should be back soon enough, but with this, Sawamura will have a better chance now since Tanba is not in his perfect form yet. Also loved that they anticipated Shunshin to not throw in the middle, but they are so wrong. The next fight is going to be interesting. |

| The new pitcher is fascinating! I love how each pitcher has their own distinct pitch. However, the team appears to be lacking in good batters. Owada is a giant. I also agree with her, people with glasses are something else. Eijun is deadly (harming people with it lmao) with his pitch. He still has a long way to go. Damn, I had no idea Satoru wasn't used to the heat. I presume he's from somewhere with cold weather? |
