| Getting right through the sewers and reaching out towards the streets, Yuume quickly made her way to the rooftops, where the undead were less present. Even so, the roof was still a dangerous spot, now that the ASC was controlling the surface areas. They would usually intercept and kill targets they found around and Yuume was no exception. For her luck, she still knew very well how to hide and also was strong enough to deal with some soldiers of the ASC. What she feared was to encounter a General around. Making her way quickly, through the rooftops, Yuume made her way towards the park... Or what was left of it. That was Yuume's favorite place whenever she wanted to just sit and rest for some time. |

| Yuume smiled, but her smile was now a gentle one. "I'm sure you will. Just work hard and one day you will even surpass Rin and dad." She told him. She believed in her brother and, in her mind, if you had the will and determination strong enough to do something, it was very possible that you could do it. As they walked, Yuume's smile slowly faded. In it's place, a serious expression resumed and she stood attent. Whenever she would go out to the streets, Yuume's persona would change completely, even with her brother. She would become more serious and would pay attention to every detail around, always trying to protect not only herself, but also anyone who was with her. |

Yoshio mostly seemed very casual upon entering the surface, though in truth he was just as alert and cautious as his sister. |

| Yuume glanced at Yoshio as she looked around, apparently searching for the Bulker. "He should be around here..." Yuume stated as she focused, trying to hear the presence of the Bulker. Suddenly, she equipped her scythe and prepared for the impact. "Here he comes..." Yuume said and, in a few seconds, a Bulker came, dashing towards Yoshio and Yuume. "I'll make the first strike!" Yuume exclaimed as she rushed towards the Bulker, while unleashing her scythe into full size. As the Bulker ran towards her, she stopped her movements and used the handle of the scythe as a spear, hitting the Bulker right on the stomach. The wind dispersed as the direct hit on the skin of the Bulker dripped a green blood. Yuume then uplifted the beast that was nearly 6 times her size... And smashed him into the ground. Though it wouldn't seem like it, when it came to fighting, Yuume had the same spirit as her brother, but in a much more bloodthristy form of attack. She then kicked the monster towards Yoshio, resulting his head to drag on the concrete ground until it was close enough to Yoshio. |

| "Hey, don't steal all the fun." Yoshio complained as he lifted the large cleaver off his back and gained a stable footing on the ground, slamming the blade with all his might into the Bulker's head immediately after it got in range, embedding the weapon into the creature's skull as well as smashing its head a bit more into the ground, though not that much. Unlike his sister, he had a normal amount of strength. An impressive amount of strength for a human, but still a human amount. "Can't you go a bit easier on them? They're practically dead when you pass them to me. And it's a bit demoralizing to see a cute little seventeen year old smack around something six times her size." He teased her slightly, though he hadn't let his guard down. It was plausible that the Bulker was alive. They did tend to possess a great amount of resistance. |

| Yuume's giggle could be heard from afar. "I already said that it's not my fault. What can I do if they are so weightless to me?" She said, looking away with a victorious smirk. She would constantly compete with her brother in occasions like this. Because of her strength and physical prowess, Yuume would usually win. However, after saying what she had to say, she quickly rushed towards the Bulker and, using the dull side of the scythe, smacked him to the air, making him fly towards a nearby building. "Ball!!" She exclaimed happily as her abusive strength allowed her to play with a Bulker in the way many people couldn't. "Yoshio... Have you ever heard about a woman called Sara?" Yuume suddenly questioned, inquiring about the woman she met earlier. She was able to hear the woman's name but she couldn't quite remember how. |

He told her with a slight chuckle. "Hm? Sara? In the Book of Ages there was a woman called Sara. Can't think of anyone else though." |

Yoshio taunted her with a smirk, though he couldn't defeat Masaru either if he tried. "If I remember right, Sara was the name of the leader of the Warband. She's either a scavenger or dead now. Those people were so crazy that the ASC didn't even need to bother with them, they started killing themselves off. She disappeared a bit before it started to collapse. Makes me think that they went nuts since their strongest wasn't there to keep her in check." He told her. "Why the sudden interest in history?" |

| When Yoshio taunted her, she smiled victoriously and looked away. "Though I'm closer to beat him than you are." She stated, looking away from her brother for a second. As she did so, she was able to hear Gergern right behind her, though she was expecting him to appear like that. She could hear his thought pulses with ease. Even so, she used the handle of the scythe to hit directly on his stomach with half of her force, though that alone was enough to make him fly for at least a few meters from them. "You shouldn't sneak up on people like that, Gergern." She told him with a scowl. She then turned back towards her brother, having heard the story about Sara. "Oh, it's nothing really. I just heard some rumors about it and decided to learn a bit more. I'm not interested in investigating these rumors, though." She told him, smiling softly. |

| Yoshio watched as she smacked Gergern away and sighed. "Well, aren't you cold." He commented, placing the blunt side of the blade on his shoulder again. "What kind of rumors? The Warband screwed itself over a while ago, the only survivors are Scavengers now, and I don't think she's one of'em." |

| Yuume made a scowl and spoke calmly. "I don't want to hear that I'm cold from you, Onii-san. We both know that this is how we should act... As Deathwatch members." She told him, looking away with a sigh. She then responded his second question. "Well, you hear a lot of absurd rumors when you walk around the Base." She simply said, not fully responding what he asked but still trying to cover it up. "Well, I guess we had our fun, what about we stroll around for a while and--" Before she was able to finish the sentence, the Bulker that she sent away earlier came out of the building, rushing towards her and her brother. Yuume stepped foward and, with a single slash, cut the beast in half. After that, she rotated the scythe a few times and made three more slashes. A few seconds of silence passed before the monster's pieces fell down on the floor, releasing a mountain of blood all over the place, even some on Yuume. Yuume quickly got out from the "serious" mode and made a loud "Eeeeew!". "Look at my clothes now. You filthy monster!" She yelled, kicking one of the Bulker's pieces away. "I guess we'll have to go back to the base, I'm not going to walk around with these dirty clothes." She stated, unpleased with the results of her own actions. |

He could tell that she was trying to evade the question, but to be truthful, he wasn't all that interested in whatever they were. He was prepared to evade when the Bulker appeared once again, but ended up staring at Yuume with a deadpanned expression. After she went back to her normal personality he began to laugh softly at what she had done to herself. |

| Yuume followed after her brother, unhappy with the results of what she had just done. "You're so ungrateful, Onii-san, even though I did that to protect us..." Yuume stated, looking back at her dress with a sad expression. To tell the truth, she herself didn't expected that the beast would end up spitting blood all over her clothes and dirtying it. As they walked towards the nearest entrance, a loud sound could be heard. The rotating helix of a helicopter could be heard in the distance. In a small fraction of time, it was already above Yoshio and Yuume. Searching for the source of all that loud sound. As soon as she heard the sound of the helicopter, Yuume grabbed her brother and dragged him incredibly fast into a nearby building. This was Bulker territory so there wouldn't be many walkers around. |

He looked up and towards the source of the noise shortly before Yuume grabbed and dragged him into a building. "Careful, don't rip my arm out." He joked in a calm tone. "ASC probably... Well, this was probably gonna' happen." He mused. |

| Yuume, using her own set of "skills" to try and see what they were going to do next. She did this while she ran into the inner part of the building. As soon as the helicopter got in position, about 8 soldiers from it, landing softly on the ground as they looked around, seeking for Yuume and Yoshio. "Look around, they have to be here. We detected other kinds of heat signatures around so we better make a search for them." One of the soldiers, seemingly the leader of the squad, ordered. As he did so, he a made signal for the helicopter and, in the next second, a big, massive capsule from the lower part of the helicopter. The capsule soon opened, revealing a largerobot that started to scan the area, searching for traces of Yuume and Yoshio. Yuume looked towards her brother and made a quick decision. "We'll split. I'll go that side," she said, pointing towards the hallway on her back. "and you go the other way. We meet back at home in the Underground Base." She told Yoshio as she turned around. However, before she started to run, she looked back from over her shoulder and said one more thing. "Be careful, Onii-san." She told him with a serious tone as she then started to run. The soldiers quickly went inside, seeking for both of them. They quickly wore goggles that seemed to have thermal sights. "If you see them, hold your fire and inform the rest of us. We need to capture them alive and preferably not hurt." The leader of the squad added. The robot then came in and started to scan the inner area of the building. |

| "Man... All that tech pisses me off..." Yoshio complained to himself in a hushed tone, taking note of the robot. He had almost the same mentality as Rin Chi when it came to tech like that, that it was for people who couldn't fight for themselves, though he was more understanding about it than Rin Chi ever was. He looked back at Yuume. "You too. Don't show off." He warned her in a whisper. The same warning could be told to him, but Yoshio had much less to be cocky about. Once she headed her way, Yoshio headed his, vaulting quietly through an open window and into the dark alleyways. They were both probably at a disadvantage when it came to stealth at the moment though, now that he thought about it. Yoshio was strong enough to stay hushed for the most part, but he still made a small amount of noise when he carried around that large blade. And even if Yuume was strong enough to carry her weapon around without so much as a peep, she had that glop covering her and most likely leading at least a small trail. All he could do about it now was head his way and hope Yuume remained alright. |

| Yuume, unlike her brother, stood inside the building and seeked to go upwards. She quickly rushed up and hid herself in a dark place. It was only then that she noticed that there was a trail of Bulker blood, indicating where she was going and she came from. She quickly turned around and also jumped out of a window. Though it was very tall, it seemed like they were not able to notice her so far. Yuume looked upwards and saw that the helicopter was no longer there. It went towards the dark alleyways, looking for her brother. "Good luck, Onii-san." She muttered under her breath as she started to run towards the center of the city. The more she ran, the more she noticed how much ASC's numbers grew. The more to the center you go, the more they were. And they were all seeking for Yuume and her brother. "How did they knew we were there?..." She questioned herself as she quickly noticed another helicopter coming towards her. She quickly jumped off of the roofs and into an alley. She then opened the first door she saw and rushed inside. For her luck, it was a huge mall. Yuume eventually looked towards her dirtied clothes. "Hmm... Maybe I'll find something to help me get rid of these clothes... This mall is very large after all..." She mused as she walked around, looking for a set of clothes that fitted her. |

| Yoshio scurried along through the alleys. Eventually, as he heard nothing, he began to slowly stroll through them, one hand in his pocket, another holding the blade over his shoulder. He let out a sigh. "That's strange... They arrived so quickly, as if they were purposely looking out for not just heat signatures, but specific people. But if that was true, why would they send one measly squad if they knew who we were? If we needed to, we could slaughter a few soldiers no problem..." He mused before his aloud thinking was interrupted by a familiar sound, the sound of a chopper approaching, and approaching quickly. "Tch... Damn persistent, but if they're following me, that means they aren't following Yuume." Yoshio quickly vaulted into another building and ducking under a window. He'd wait to see if they were just looking around or if they actually knew where he was. |

| (Umm... How's he going to steal a helicopter that is in mid-air?) Yuume looked around the mall innocently, searching for anything that she could wear. Her steps were soft and slow as she tried her best not to make any loud sounds. Almost all stores were completely deserted, not even a single shirt on them. She was now at the third floor, but she hadn't found anything at all that she could wear. Yuume sighed. "It seems like these stores are all out of clothes. It'll be even harder to find something that I can actually wear..." She muttered as she walked. However, the sound of many steps interupted Yuume's thoughts. Yuume, in a reaction, quickly ran away from the steps and entered a store that seemed completely deserted. She quickly ran into one of the closed rooms, used to test clothing and see if they fit. Looking around the room, Yuume saw a waitress uniform in the testing room. "Lucky!~~" Yuume whispered happily as she picked up the clothes and tried to wear them. While that, she payed attention to her surroundings, seeing if anyone was going to check the store. Luckily for her, no one tried to get into the store, they just went on their way. Yuume wore the clothes and looked at the mirror. She looked nearly adorable. "Hey, there's a trail here!" One of the soldiers exclaimed, talking about the blood trail that Yuume left behind. Yuume perked up and hid herself in the darkness, awaiting for the soldier to come and check the room. While that, the chooper stood flying around, looking for Yoshio's heat signatures. A few soldiers ran by the building and, behind them, a robot came, scanning the area carefully. As soon as the robot started to walk near Yoshio, it detected his heat signature and alarmed the other soldiers, causing them to go after him into the building, and seek him. They were quickly destroying everything in their way as they looked for Yoshio with agressivity. |

| Yoshio let out a sigh when the chopper didn't seem to notice him, then let out an annoyed sigh when he was detected by the robot. Fine then, come on in... The last thing you'll see will be glint of my blade... He thought to himself with a smirk, before scowling and letting out a "Tch..." since he had promised not to engage the ASC if possible. "Fine... Fine... I'll run..." He commented to himself with a growl. Once the soldiers started closing in on the room, he jumped back out the window, using it as a stepping stone to hop on top of the robot and onto the next building, but not before stabbing his blade into the robot's head. That was more to damage its surveillance and sensors than destroy it. He didn't doubt that there were people watching through the robot's eyes and he wanted as least amount of information on him and his sister as possible. |

| As soon as Yuume heard the steps of the soldier coming closer to the room. As soon as he got on the door, Yuume's hands went out and twisted his neck. She then pulled the man inside the room and broke his helmet with a fierce punch. She then went out of the room and hid inside the store. Her plan was for them to go see the soldier and allow her to run away from the mall. In a waitress uniform, she quickly headed out and peeked out of her cover. There she saw three, no, four soldiers, right on the door of the store. Almost all soldiers came in, only one of them was left on the door. Yuume used the oportunity. She sneaked up on the man, seeing that the others were too busy looking around the store, and, with a quick movement, she pushed his gun away and made a clean hit on his neck, immediatly killing him. She also supported his body so that he would fall silently. After doing so, she, once more, broke the helmet. She then used the oportunity to run away from the store and further upwards. On the rooftops, Nova was contacted by Rika. "We have the location of the female. Go after her... Bring her to me... Alive." Rika ordered coldly. Her voice was calm and cold at the same time, very similar to how she always was. |

| Yoshio ran along the rooftops, looking around for signs of them following. There seemed to be none and so he ducked back into the alleys after he got a decent distance away. "Why didn't they follow?" He questioned himself, looking back towards where he had come from with a scowl. "This doesn't make sense..." He murmured to himself, even contemplating going back and looking for her just in case, but if she had already escaped, he'd be deep into enemy territory for no reason. |

| Adam stood in the tower of an old abandoned church. It had been where he and his wife had gotten married, so many years ago. He thought about his current life, his job, and his children. He smiled sadly, and looked out upon the torn city. It saddened him to see the world so wasted and desolate. He looked down at his sketch pad, and continued drawing scanty and sparing lines here and there, creating a basic outline for his future painting. I suppose it's best to get back now. I do have other duties after all... He hopped out of the tower and down to an adjacent roof and made his way through the streets, but not before ringing the Church bell a single time. "Miserere nostri Deus omnium." he whispered. God help us all. |

| Yuume ran further upwards towards the roof of the mall. She tried, many times, to seek an opening to go down instead of up, but all of them were blocked by soldiers. She did found strange however, the number of soldiers that were devoted into hunting her. So far, she had already counted 67 soldiers, all of them heavily armed and some of them with thermal scopes. How can they always know where I'm going to? Can they track me somehow? Doubtful. This mall is way too large, maybe they were just blocking because they know I'm inside. She thought to herself as she went up once more, reaching now floor 10 of the mall. As soon as Nova got ready and armed, a chopper flew by and threw a rope for him to catch. Seeing that Nova went up quickly, the pilot started to inform him of the case. A female voice came from the cockpit: "She's surrounded inside a mall near the center of the city. She made the mistake of going inside our territory without making a recon first. By the way, Adam White has also been contacted, he's going after the same target as you are. The reward will be handsome too." Rika told him, though her voice was masked and so was her face. Even so, her piloting skills were absurdly impecable. She then contacted her main advisor, Adam White. A beep on his radio was enough for him to understand from who the message was. "Hello Adam. We have a target and I need to coordenate the soldier's actions. I'm sending you the coordinates." Rika said, sending him the location of Yuume. While that, Yuume still tried to trick the soldiers into making the mistake of losing her from their sight. However, this was nearly impossible, they were very numerous and they were also very dedicated into finding her. Still not giving up, she moved further upwards... |

Adam was already close to his destination, so he hopped onto his motorcycle and raced down the street. Within a matter of moments, the mall came into view. He sped up to the curb and hopped off, racing into the mall. "Get two six man squad on the roof now via helicopter, plane, zip line, whatever. Just get them up there. Once they secure the roof, have them continue down every floor. We'll trap the target between the squad coming down from the roof and the ground squads going up." Adam ordered to one of the men. "Have the others secure a 400 meter perimeter around this mall. No one goes in or out. I want snipers on every surrounding building." Adam thought to himself. He wasn't just going to rush in there after the prey, and yet he wondered if he was going a bit overboard. No, he thought to himself.This will succeed. If I have to pull out all the stops to do so, then so be it.. |

He was using the alleyways, but wasn't at all trying to be stealthy, his goal was to get back to that house and track where his sister had gone, and if they really were looking for her and not him like he was beginning to think, then he wouldn't have to worry about being quiet. |

| Adam watched as the men stormed the mall. Calls of "Clear!" rang through his radio as they secured floors and moved on up through the building. He was thinking to himself, trying to place himself in the target's shoes. What would I do If I was being surrounded? he though to himself. He turned around to a squad on standby. "Looking at the blueprints for this building, the sewers run right under it. Get a squad down there as well. Even if our target is heading up, I want all the escape routes secure." Adam turned back and waited for what would happen... ____________________________________________________________________________________________ On the other side of town, a 19 year old girl named Jane Mason was running towards an old abandoned car, carrying what seemed to be some sort of large tripod in her arms. "Oh man, I need to scrap this car, and this is the perfect time to test out my newest invention!" She giggled to herself. She set it down and pressed a couple buttons on it, activating her latest invention, the X-7 Auto-Turret. Jane was proud of her invention. She'd made it out of a tripod, a minigun she'd traded for with an arms dealer, and a couple loose odds and ends. It was still just a prototype, but she was excited to see how it would function. It rotated on a 180 degree swivel, and would unleash a stream of bullets at anything that moved in it's area of sight. Or at least, that's how Jane hoped it would work. After setting it up and checking for walkers, Jane began disassembling the car. It was dangerous to be working out in the open like this, but she needed the parts. She set her backpack and toolkit down and got to work, humming all the while to herself. |

| As Yuume went further up, she started to see more and more soldiers. At one point, she stopped and allowed them to go past here towards the roof. Not good... Now I have no other escape routes... Wait! This building must be connected to the sewers, if I can go to the basement, maybe I can open my own way towards the sewers. Yuume thought, having found an exit to this hellhole. As soon as she was able to, she sneaked out of her floor and started to go down instead. In a few minutes she saw that the entry to the basement was actually blocked. Damn it... I'll have to draw their attention to another location... She thought to herself. As soon as she thought that, a squad came out of the room and she followed behind them, being able to stay hidden even though she was wearing a waitress uniform. As soon as they were far enough from the entrance of the basement, Yuume took out her scythe and sneaked up on them through the ceiling. Once she was in a good position, she went down and slashed through two of them, immediatly killing them. One of the soldiers contacted the others via radio. "We found her! She's on the terrace, south side of the mall!" The man shouted through radio. The rest of the sounds were of him and the rest of the squad being slaughtered. This would bring the attention of the rest of the soldiers towards the south side of the terrace, while the entrance to the basement was on the east side. She could then hear the soldiers rushing towards the south side as she sneaked past them through the ceiling. She then saw that the entrance was still covered, but with less soldiers than it was before. As if soldiers were not enough, there was even a robot there. Yuume took out her scythe and fell down directly on the robot, slicing it in half as she fell. The two pieces of the robot separated and fell, but not before causing a large explosion that made nearly everyone, including Yuume, fall back. Though Yuume used her scythe to protect herself, so the impact wasn't so strong. As the explosion happened, it lifted a smoke screen that disoriented the other soldiers. Coughing, one of them tried to contact the rest of the crew, but it was already too late. In less than 10 seconds, everyone on the smoke screen was already dead. Yuume's special abillity, the one to sense their thought pulses, was very accurate and impecable. With that, she was able to defeat every single soldier in the smoke screen before they even noticed her. That was how fast she was. Her scythe dripped of the blood from the enemies she killed, but she was feeling more secure than ever. She then opened the door to the basement and walked down. For her unfortune, the soldiers turned on the lights and revealed themselves, already awaiting for her. Over 20 soldiers and two robots awaited for her, all of them armed and locked on her. "That's a lot of effort to get a little girl... Isn't it?" She joked sarcastically as she looked back over her shoulder. More soldiers came and aimed their weapons on her. "Drop the scythe and give yourself in! We don't want to hurt you but we won't hold back if we have to!" The leader of the squad said, his weapon aimed at her head. Yuume looked around her and made her strategy. "Thirty four soldiers, three robots, none armored. Weapons seem to be armed with rubber bullets in order to not kill me. Why?" She mused in a low monotone. The squad leader once more warned her. "Drop your scythe or we will shoot!" He yelled. However, Yuume didn't even flinch. She was motionless. Yuume lifted her scythe slowly, indicating that she would drop it in front of everyone so that they could see it. However, they all armed their weapons and prepared to shoot at the leader's command. The squad leader held his hand up, ordering them not to shoot. When Yuume finished lifting her scythe, she dropped on the ground, causing a loud thump. The soldiers quickly ran towards her and kicked her to her knees. However, Yuume didn't made a sound. She stood mute as they pinned her down and started to drag her out of the basement. As they dragged her, she looked around, seeing the numerous soldiers surrounding her. Resisting here would be stupid. They would just shoot her until she fell down and she was afraid of using her powers. Who knew what would happen. The last time she used it, a chaotic result was found. The soldiers dragged her out of the mall and, once they were secure that she wouldn't escape, led her towards Adam. The dropped her on her knees right in front of Adam and aimed their guns at her. "We found her and captured her as you ordered, sir." The squad leader spoke. |

| Adam looked down at the girl before him. "Well then, what do we have here.." He knelt down in front of Yuume, smiling. "Hello, my name is Adam." He smiled warmly. "I'm sorry for all this," he motioned towards the whole scene, "but we needed to bring you in. Nothing personal." He stood up. "We'll take her back to the Tri-Tower. Load her into the armored van over there, and lock her up. I don't want anything going wrong." He paused and looked back at her. "While you're at it, tranquilize her. It'll be safer for her and us. We need to find out who she is and what she knows. I have a feeling our Director knows more about her than we do. For precaution, I'll be riding in the truck with her." He turned away and addressed the rest of the soldiers. "The area is clear and the target is secure. Clean up and clear out." |

| Yuume's scowl was serious and meaningless at the same time. It was as if she didn't mean anything by it. She wasn't trying to resist, she knew that she wouldn't be able to escape from their grasp now. The soldier nodded to Adam and quickly dragged her forcefully towards an armored van. He sat her on the back of the van and took out a tranquilizer, injecting it on her arm. As soon as he did so, Yuume started to lose her senses. "Good night, Cinderella. Have a nice sleep." The squad leader joked as she fell down on the van's back. The man then pushed her into the van. He then turned himself towards Adam and signaled that she was now on the van and that she was locked in it. He then resumed to go away with the rest of his squad, that was responsible for scouting the van. As if the cars were not enough, there were also two helicopters keeping watch on it, her chances of escape were nule. |

| "Aha! Found it!" Jane yelped gleefully as she pried out an old car battery. It still had a bit of juice left in it, which was lucky for her. She placed it into her bag and reached for her laser cutter from the her toolkit, placing on gloves as she did.After turning it on she began cutting into the side of the car, removing pieces and plates of the old vehicle. She turned around for a second to check her surroundings and spotted a cluster of walkers in the distance. "Uh oh, I gotta get a move on!" She quickly continued cutting up the car, keeping her eye on the approaching hoard. |
