| Hooray, Egret! This fixes two of the main problems so far; skipping Splash Star and no Blue Cures, sorta. Also I like how they skipped DokiDoki! What I didn't like was the dumb scene with Mana giving gravity the middle finger and dropping faster than Megumi to catch her. No, not Cure Heart that can fly and can pull that trick, freaking untransformed Mana. Then again we already know untransformed Mana is stronger than Diamond, Rosetta and Sword combined so big surprise, Mana Sue being poorly written even outside her show. To be fair Japan has a fairly unique understanding of gravity so it's not a Mana thing only, but still. As for the episode it was mostly good aside from a very, VERY dumb thing, but let's not skip ahead. The plot isn't bad even if "picky eating" isn't exactly the most mature of plots, remember AGURI had that too, but it was done well and it gave Yuuko a lot of good screentime so not complaining. It'd be even better if they didn't have Hime act all childish again at the end for the sake of a dumb joke, but eh, show for children I guess. The fight was mostly good, though Macadamia Hula Dance was inserted kind of randomly I think. Sure, use the grunt-defeating attack AFTER you cleaned up the grunts and are fighting the Trident Terribad. But that wasn't the problem; freaking Lovely GETTING THE KILL was. What. No. No. No. Stop that. Don't do that. Why did you do that. This was Hime's episode, Hime learnt a lesson, Hime got all the focus, Megumi got like three scenes before the fight and she did nothing of value. This is really freaking dumb. It only took six episodes for Pink Cure Bias to rear its ugly head again. They even did the "Lovely, you handle this because I laugh when I try" nonsense I loathe like last week. What a terrible way to end an otherwise good episode. On top of that the preview shows their combined attack, so chances are they'll win with THAT only from now on and Megumi will forever be ahead of Hime's kill record for no reason. Why, Toei. We're sick of Pink Cure Bias. Drop that. Ugh. |

That's what makes it bad, that they "broke" the pattern in the worst possible episode to do so. Kind of like Suite randomly giving Hibiki an upgrade in a Kanade episode, and we all know how THAT turned out. Still, it might be an unlucky coincidence. But with Toei I'd be wary. |
| I would say... I am glad Toei is pink biased this time - Megumi aka Mana mk 2 (one more episode where it's very visible) is not best character but Hime is dreadfull. She is funny from time to time but outside of it, she is just irritating. I might complain if they will do it with Yuuko joining the team, she seems like a good character. Fight was ok - that dance thing was... weird but why not. I was expecting to end it up with some kind of explosion thou :P would like to see some more kicking and punching but it seems those time are gone now. Another complain I might have, appart from Hime is fact they seemed to forget about people who are changed into those monsters. This was one of few things HeartCatch did right. I would like to have some story about them... but than it's show set to sell toys to little girls so logic and stuff like this is not necessary. And trailer - it was nice but there wasn't enough of Black and White, still maybe next week ;) |
| 12:44 beautiful orchestra music ---------------------- 1. Hime's such a spoiled brat. hopefully she changes later on 2. Loved Ribbon's feistiness 3. I'll be more aware of others when I'm cooking after this ep 4. this show is suppose to be for a young audience. but there are some moments where it really shines. it's very alluring 6/10 |

So apparently Mana can ride Kintou'un just like the Son family. She wasn't awesome enough for them. Oh well, guess we'll find out why in October when the DVD is out. |

| Cure Egret :) Woah special opening for the movie Precure All Stars New Stage 3 ^^ Lots of Precure characters! Want to watch this ._____. Cure Hime was really selfish in this episode, but at least she learned a valuable lesson in the end :) I was actually hoping to see if Yuuko was already a Precure. How did you know about Hime's fight with Ribbon. Even down with the details! Lol that Aloha dance move! Sooo mesmerizing! So Cure Lovely has Ole move while Cure Princess has Aloha Oe :P Still why didn't they end the fight with Cure Princess? This was her problem after all. Definitely getting better each episode. I hope the introduce the other two Precure soon! |
| Nice Hime episode! Thanks to Yuuko she got to appreciate the effort that Ribbon puts on her dishes, that won't stop her from wanting pancakes tho heh. |
