I'm sure that some of you might disagree, but I believe that Shakugan No Shana had a great start into a dark if not a bit cute(think about When they Cry)intro into a dark anime series with that first episode but it sort of evolved into some love story with mystic fighting.
I'm sure their other but that was the latest one to disappoint me.
