| I have this anime series in my "Plan To Watch" List, what I'm unsure about is the 8 episode OVA, and would like to ask anyone that has seen it what it's about. Does the OVA follow after the series/movies or is it a recap ova of what happened during the anime? An answer is appreciated. Thanks. |

| It's like extra episodes. If you read the synopsis: "Kimagure Orange Road OVA is basically the extension from the TV series. The time frame is probably in the middle of the TV series. Order to view with the TV series. White Lovers - among the episodes 35 and 45 Hawai Suspence - among the episodes 15 and 25 I was a cat, Iwas a fish - among the episodes 15 and 30 Hurricane Akane, the shape-shifting girl - among the episodes 20 and 25 Spring is for Idols - among the episodes 23 and 30 Birth of a Star - among the episodes 23 and 30 Unexpected Situation - after the OAV of Akane Message in Rouge - after the episode 48" Don't worry, the ova isn't a recap. You choose if you follow this order or watch after TV series. I watched after TV series, it was more fun. |

| I'm curious, does the viewing order listed above reflect how the stories were published in the manga? Also, are all of the OVA episodes based on manga chapters or only some of them? Part of me would just want to watch them after the TV series, in order of release... but part of me also thinks it'd be better to watch them alongside the series if that's how the manga was structured. |
