Tezuka's Manga Dororo Wins Eisner Award 2009

The winners of the 2009 Eisner Awards were announced at Comic-Con. Tezuka Osamu's Dororo won the Best U.S. Edition of International Material (Japan). The other nominees of the category were "Monster", "Sousakusha", and "Solanin".

I do like Tezuka's stuff, but vs. Monster and Solanin? Not so much.

Dororo is far from Tezuka's best manga and it's definitely not better than Monster and Solanin. Haven't read Sousakusha yet but knowing Jiro Taniguchi it must be good. But it's good to see any good manga get recognition.
