"Marie & Gali" episode 15 continues the absolute brilliance of this series. This time we meet Edison, who happens to be an egotistical shouta. Edison lords all of his inventions over Galileo, but Galileo's popularity wins the day (sort of).

The ending lesson is a rough translation into Japanese of the old saying:

"Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration".

Marie is thoroughly impressed with Edison, and asks at the end if Edison invented the fluorescent light too. Edison has to admit that he didn't. Marie then asks Galileo if he did, and of course, Galileo admits that he didn't either. So Marie just leaves the question open.

BTW - Edison enters the episode via a fuel cell-powered car, which rides up a tall underground shaft in full EVA-style.
