| Great episode. Claws being a girl was quite a surprise, reminds me of Kino. This episode was vital to show that alchemy has consequences. |

Besides that it's ridiculous how fast they are able to drawn the alchemy circles. The alchemy circle is not simple enough to be drawn in one second yet that's what it seems to only take. And third thing i have to complain about is that how did such a small knife turn into a sword? It clearly has more metal in it than the original piece so it shouldn't have been possible. Pretty much my thoughts. Was actually surprised that Ed had to draw a circle at all to freeze the river. Shouldn't his hand-clapping be enough? The sword transmutation shouldn't have been possible, I agree. Strange choice by the writers. In general, the episode was ok for a filler but not more than that. Worst episode of the series so far. |

| one-episode plot, a little bit of cliché, but hey, it's an older series, i bet it must've been great back in the days the fight at the end felt a bit unnatural though, rushed and not great overall :D but it was an okay episode let's see what comes next ^^ |

angel_kouhai said: 2022 rewatch after the last three terrific episodes, this one kinda flopped. no idea if it was in the manga, but i hope not. pretty sure this is a filler episode anyways. i remember not liking this episode when i first watched in 2020 and that i thought it was pretty dumb. the way how ed just explained how the rose woman (forgot her name lmao) didn't actually die but hit her head and then later regained her memories.. ngl that's such an asspull. this sucked to say the least. also what was with claus? they never properly explained why she dressed like a boy. yeah her sister died, but what the hell does that explain? plus we never learned what exactly happened to her sister either. did those mannequins kill her or was it something else? it was never clarified. anyways, the crossdressing thing rubbed me the wrong way to say the least. and this episode was a flop which is such a shame because damn i love the first three episodes. Don't forget the fact that all these "developments" happen in the span of like three minutes lmao. Terrible episode. |
