| I'm not sure whether you're being serious or not. Heterosexual guys do not generally hug in most circumstances, much less hug in a romantic'ish way. Next thing you know people will be complaining that just because two guys kiss doesn't mean they aren't just friends still. Ask yourself if you would respond the same if mikage was female with both people doing exactly the same thing. I suppose if that was the case people wouldn't argue so much over the obvious hints about the two being more than just friends. |

| So far, I didn't like how the anime re-arrange certain sequences because it feels some parts are disjointed. Like the scene at the end from this episode...I thought it was quite odd for Mikage to suddenly get up, walk over to Teito and spew his 'don't make enemies speech'. The flow of the exchanges from Teito to Mikage is abrupt in that scene because they changed parts of Mikage's dialogue from the manga. It was done much better in the manga. I also dislike how the anime is dragging *certain* stuff. I just don't feel the tension if they keep prolonging the inevitable. With the way things are transitioning, I'm getting less and less impress with the anime version. Frau alone isn't enough to save the show for me. |

| I don't know if it was because I finished this arc of the manga in one sitting or not, but the pace feels REALLY slow, i mean, theres a lot of things to happen after this but with 25 episodes only, I can't see them being able to fit in if they keep this up. |

Put the story telling and character development aside, all I can see in this 5 episodes are nothing more than just: "Mikage: I won't betray you, Teito." and "Teito: How are you doing now, Mikage?" It may be just my personal taste by I still think they are overdo it. |

But really, it's not the first time for an anime to do that. I don't like focusing on all the tiny bad things...I see no point in that. I just watch it because I like the series, I love seeing everything in animation. |

It has a good theme to it, and the feel gives it that "kool" factor. It seems to posses a LOT of potential. BUT...nothings happened. 5 episodes and I'm just waiting. 1 episode of them in school. Then 4 episodes of Teito just sitting in church. Pace is slow...story seems promising but nothing great has happened. (And two reviewers have already given it 10's? Nothings happened...Manga may be great but this isn't the manga, or we haven't gotten to the good parts yet, 7/10 til something happens lol). I'm not complaining...I'm just hoping SOMETHING does happen. Or I will be very disappointed. I can handle a slow build up...but they better deliver. On a side not, take the chains off already! lol. And the whole Zephions? Interesting concept...something new and different. But I'm getting bored of them. Is that all they do? Is swirly swords that go round and round and shoot a little blue destructive light out? Don't they have any other attack? Just think they could have made them more intriguing. |

| Another pretty good episode. Not sure about the complaints about Mikage showing up, kind of obvious he's a puppet being manipulated by Ayanami or something along those lines. I'm sure exact details will be forthcoming when he inevitably betrays Teito. I'd say the only weak link is the action. None of the Zaiphon fighting has been terribly exciting or well done thus far. I was hoping it was a fluke and would improve, but after five episodes guess not... Thumbs-up Frau for the win, by the way. Had me laughing hysterically. |

| Frau's amazing pervertness never ceases to amaze me and the fact that Mikage was all like "wooooooooow" was even more epic! Mikage...obviously this seems to be a trap! Or something...I bet Ayanami had a trick up his sleeve! Those Kor probably were related to him.. I wonder how Teito can even change clothes with those chains...It's impossible no matter how you look at it.. The moment where Teito said "It feels as if you're going to leave me" made me REALLY sad.. |
