| SO HYPED! Oh my God. It had been so long that I forgot how great this show is, and this is looking like a wonderful twist to the story. This episode really helped you feel for Chisaki and how she had to stay awake while her friends were all trapped underwater. Wow. just wow. I am so ready for this to start back up! |

Will probably decide to drop or keep going with the series by the end of next episode. If you drop the series because of ships you'll be making a mistake. This is by far the best show I have seen in a long while. Now onto the episode itself. I loved everything they did with it. It truly brought a tear to my eye. The emotional turmoil these characters share with one another is not only saddening but also surreal, much like the time skip. Can't believe I almost didn't watch this series. |

| Hikari didn't age at all. Those five years must have felt like 1 min for them. The new OP felt a bit sad cos no Manaka in it. Manaka where are you!!! :( |

| 5 year time skip, wtf? :( Everyone looked different, I didn't even realize the grade schoolers where in the OP till I saw them grown up in the ep. Chisaki was left on the surface for all those years.. at least she had Tsumugu and his grandpa. Hikari is back... and not aged? :O Cliffhanger from hell! |

| After that cliffhanger scene in the previous episode, an unexpected time skip starts off this episode. So only Chisaki, Tsumugu, Miuna, and Sayu are the only ones that are grown up, While Hikari is the only one didn't fully grown. Just realize Manaka and Kaname are not present here, but I would expect they might come back in later episodes. All right so, I would say this is a good episode, seeing the growth of the characters (except for some), and how they manage to pull this off in the second half of the series. Though my problem is that the relationships might be too chaotic in later episodes, as I'm only used to see just the way they are in the 1st half in the series. But I'll see how these things go. As for the OP and ED Songs they look astounding just like 1st half of the series. |

Ever since Manaka died/became a bride for the Sea God, and we got to know there would be a timeskip, I've been thinking that this would be the sort of anime that would give us an idea of how the characters from "Ano Hana" first reacted and got to move on after Menma died. In any case, the two stories are similar, because the main female protagonist dies, although Menma is dead at the beginning of the series, whilst here Manaka dies midway. Hehe, the two characters have the same starting letter for their names, not to mention the "n" XD For all of you optimists, sure, she might not be dead but....nah, I'm more of a realist on this one, so I believe she died. |
| Gosh I'm gonna flip the table if it turns out to be Chisaki x Tsumugu. I don't know why but I find Tsumugu's the most irritating character in the entire series. Bad news is I think Chisaki's starting to like him *RAGE*. I would even rather have that perverted blond dude hook up with Chisaki rather than Tsumugu. The thing is even if Kaname comes back, he'll find that Chisaki's older than him is which would make the pairing awkward. Same thing with Hikari. On the other hand, I hope Manaka stays dead. Miuna is so much better for Hikari. |

| I love this episode that moment when Tsumugu said that Chisaki has someone she liked scene then showing Tsumugu face makes me think that he already have feelings for Chisaki I just hope I'm right though :p |

| good OP and ED. I'm not sure how I feel about this time-skip, it's well done but I wonder how different the characters will be. I mean, 5 years can create a huge change in a person, especially a child. Kind of wish there was a character who actually had a love that would work in their favor though. Miuna falling in love with Hikari was unpleasant news. |

| Such a good episode to come back to after a two-week long break. I was expecting Kaname to have passed away after the previous episode. Not sure how I feel about him still alive, since I felt his character hasn't had much of an impact on the story until now. Still interested to see how the relationship between Chisaki and Kaname is gonna play out, but I sure as hell don't want them together. Sorry Kaname. Maybe Miuna's friend might give you a chance. Tsumugu seems to have slight feelings for Chisaki. Always felt that way since the episode he upset Chisaki. As much as I wanted Chisaki x Hikari, I probably wouldn't mind them ending up together in the end. Just seems like the most likely pairing for Tsumugu. Miuna is still lookin' good! I'm conflicted now whether I want Hikari to end up with her or Chisaki. I love both of those girls. When Miuna cried seeing Hikari again, I got the same feels that I did during the Haruhi Suzumiya movie It's sad to see that he hasn't grown. That depresses me not knowing how he'll adapt to his new life after seeing everyone all grown up. Can't wait for the next episode! Also, more great theme songs to listen to. ray/nagi ftw. |

| Just to add this... It seems people are only talking about Chisaki pairing with Hikari, when Kaname said even after the sleep he'd still love her. I believe there's more to be seen with these two than most believe. |

| That OP made me really sad since it's no longer the fun and happy song, but it was still beautiful. Although I never cared for Manaka that much, seeing the OP without her hurt. Everything's so different now. Chisaki's scenes in this episode were also sad, mostly because she was the main person in the group that didn't want change yet she's the only one who witnessed it (well at least for 5 years until Hikari just came back). The scene with the grandpa at the hospital made me cry. It must be hard for Tsumugu to witness so much sadness too, they seem like family now. Anyways, I really like the way they handled the time skip and how much has changed, or how the characters seem to be dealing with the event that occurred five years ago. |

| I don't enjoy the idea of ChisakixTsumugu it just bothers me, even though it will probably turn out that way since they're 5 years older than the others biologically. I feel like Kaname is just always stuck on the shorter end of the stick. At least I hope to god that Manaka will return and get with Hikari; even if Kaname doesn't get Chisaki, even if everything goes wrong, I beg that Hikari and Manaka will still be able to get together. Haha, just got too many feelings from this episode! Nagi no Asukara... You hoe, always make me want more. |
| Wow. That is all I have to say. I saw some of the early pics of the second half of the show and so I new there would be a time skip, but 5 years?? Wasn't expecting that big of one. And now Hikari is still in 8th grade so I guess we are going to get a bit of he and Miuna action, which I am actually perfectly okay with. But does this mean if Kaname comes back (which I assume he does since he is in the OP) that he will be that young too? Guess we are looking at some seriously new coupling. But man the whole vibe of the show was just so depressing, and sort of a nostalgic sadness, if that makes any sense. I really hope the next episode gives us some more detail on what heck is going on! |
| Whoa!! What a serious time skip!! Hikari returning the same as he was five years ago is a problem now. He's jailbait! Perhaps now Miuna can have a crack at him. Chisaki may as well cozy up to Tsumugu. Something tells me he won't mind that. I'd love to see what Shishishio looks like now and the Sea God. Also, I'm highly doubtful about Manaka's return. | The new opening and ending song really fits the tone for this episode. Such a sad but great episode to show the aftermath of the Ofunehiki in a huge 5 year time jump. |
| I've always hated Manaka so I'm very open to Hikari x Miuna, they aren't blood related so its not that weird. I hope once Kaname comes back he'll give Sayu a chance, I never liked him with Chisaki. |

At least explained a little about what happened in the previous episode. The new OP & ED are nice. He didn't recognize Miuna because she's older now and has changed. He doesn't know anything past when he was trying to save Manaka because he was in hibernation since that point, so he knows nothing of the past 5 years. |

| Woaah and I thought this couldn't get any better! Feels like a different series now, but I love it! I expected a time skip, but a shorter one like 2-3 years. I´m so happy that Kaname is still alive and that there´s pretty much no hope for HikarixChisaki. It´s the only pairing which I really hate. Also I´m slowly starting to like Chisaki again. I have the feeling that Tsumugu likes her, but won´t admit it because he thinks she´s still in love with Hikari. I think she has accepted that she and Hikari will never be a pair, but can´t think about other potential partners at the moment because she feels guilty (because of Kaname) and sad (because all her friends are missing). I´m pretty sure that when Kaname comes back he will still love Chisaki, but after a while Sayu will win his heart. I really want to know if Manaka comes back and shexHikari will become a couple or if she comes back for a short time only to say goodbye to all of them (like Anohana) and MiunaxHikari stay together. I really love this anime because it´s so full of surprises and the animation and music is so beautiful. |
