| 2021 Rewatch Second season opening on a Julian-centric episode. Julian's now a Spartanian pilot being mentored by goofball Poplin. Reinhard takes other reformists in the Empire into his faction. Classic Admiral Yang just napping on the bench in Iserlohn. The people of the Empire get more rights, the end of feudal practices...but not through the democratic system those two ex-nobles wanted... Really liked that moment when Julian shot down his first Valkyrie. Agreeing with Merkatz's advice, Yang sends reinforcements so the enemy are removed in one swoop instead of fighting a battle of attrition. That spin Julian's Spartanian did skimming on the surface of the Imperial ship was really cool. Wait for the turret to retract, hit the missile launcher. A really disheartening moment for Julian when he landed in a ship to the refuel and the soldier tells him to survive, only for that ship to be destroyed. That FPA anthem playing when Yang arrives with Reinforcements... Yang's words to Julian who's now taken up one of the most dangerous occupation of all... Julian returned and feels a sense of achievement in that battle, most of the people are laughing and smiling but the music in that scenes gives off a tragic vibe...a false sense of happiness or finding happiness where it is least expected...the juxtaposition is brilliant. |

| so, after the previous ed with all the theories about julian looking at reinhard, where we are now? lol. though it does seems the plot going to be more around julian now, very enjoyed all his moments. but at the current state i don't really understand the need of war between the empire and the FPA, as it seems reinhard making the empire half democracy. and this question keep rising due the fact we don't have clear image on their reasons to start the war. LOGTH presented pretty deep image in both political sides, i hope it will be explained well soon. |

| They have been teasing about what might be the path Julian will follow but I don't care about him like at all lol Blondie now got a blondie to follow him around, he's not going back to the redhairs. |
