Shoujo fans are hyping up anything this days

I was referring more to battle shounen that get overhyped in general when they're not really that special either

@ZXEAN Because shounen is popular with mainstream audiences, it gets promoted the most online, in media, in fan communities, etc.

Honey Lemon Soda is not "overhyped" by the anime community like what you were claiming, just because it might be popular with the relatively much smaller and more niche shoujo community

@texasfangirl1999 Despite being overhyped they are still managing to satisfy soo many people's expectations. I don't think any generic anime is capable of doing that.

Ok, Not overhyped and still end up with a score 6.8 , Looks like it's just a generic shoujo then if it was really good then it might have ended up being this season hidden gem just like Medalist.
