Eren couldn't do shit at all at all and it's because of ymir honestly if someone smart was given full control of the founder things would have been a lot different

I think that's the point. Eren himself says he couldn't think of anything better because he was dumb. I personally liked how, despite him looking so badass and determined throughout the last season, in the end he is revealed to be just a kid who doesn't know what to do, forced to do something horrible by his own destiny.

"It was all for nothing" is the whole point of the ending lol. Its why Eren ended was so depressed about his own inability to change anything and instead prioritised extending the lives of those he cared about.

I heard about how “bad” the ending was, but when I saw it for myself I was confused because I thought the ending was perfect. I don’t understand why people don’t understand how great the ending is.

looking at the comments here either i didnt understand the ending or people dont, because like every person explains the ending in a somewhat different way. which shows that the ending was not so great or lets say not explained good enough as the viewers didnt understand it

It was alright, imo, but Attack on Titan deserved a better ending. My biggest problem with it is probably how important "romance” became to the whole story. I hated the whole Ymir loves King Fritz thing and was disappointed that such a significant part of Eren’s character is now just his "love story" with Mikasa, which wasn’t good from the start. Speaking of Eren, I despise that he was the reason for his mother’s death; to be honest, it broke me. I don't understand why Isayama had to write it that way. Eren loved his mother; there was no need for that. There are many more problems with the ending, like how Annie was forgiven so easily and the low casualties among the alliance, etc.

But even so, I was still somewhat satisfied with it in the end, and it did make me cry. I wasn't disappointed that it had a sad ending; I just didn't like the aforementioned issues, among other problems. And Attack on Titan is still one of my favourite shows.

it's great, almost perfect.
"The complain" from me might be the same just like when the manga ended, i feel that they should add some scenes, like more scenes about Alliance or people in Paradis, not just some dialogues abt what's happening narrated by historia. That's the only thing I "complained", I need more of our team lol.
Other than that, it's perfect.

✓ K*ll 80% of humanity to let 20% live (what the problem to finish, if 80% already d*ed?).
✓ And after that, this 20% attacked and k*lled everyone on the island. (That moment was showed at the very end.)

He made 100% of humanity to suffer for what reasson? He didn't save the island. He didn't end the "loop of hate".

I repeat, Eren made everybody to suffer for no reasson.

He better to finish his "walk" and at least let island live in peace.

And about "Betrayal Squad". What the reasson to save people that hate your country and finish your people if you save them? (What they acxectly did).

It devalues the whole series where they tried to save people inside the walls.

So, as for me. We watched how mains characters tried to save people inside the wall, but they lied all the time. Because their action made island people to d*e.

(If you don't understand why i said that island people was finished by 20% of humanity just watch titer and scene after titer)

It was the best way to conclude the story, the only issue I have with it is the whole Ymir and King Fritz love story, it just doesn't make sense for Ymir to love him after what he did, but despite that, it's like a 9.5/10 ending, just amazing.

The ending is amazing. Its not a happy one but its great. Things dont always end toward a happily ever after. Maybe I was disappointed because I was half expected him to fight his own destiny and choose his own future like all the other shonen. But thats my problem. After a few months now? I think it was a great ending. It ended the way it should've had.

I think people who don’t like it just need to find some good videos on youtube that explains some things that they might have missed. Most of the things that I was not sure about could be justified and explained by things I didn’t catch while watching the show. Those videos made me love the ending and even the whole show even more

But people who don’t like it represents such a minority of watchers and every show will get its haters. Most people loved the ending
