I used to be an anime only when after the hidden inventory arc I had to catch up on the manga to avoid getting spoiled, I was even spoiled on here theorizing with anime only's about how geto returned when someone came in and told me about noritoshi kamo. After that I realized I had to read the manga and caught up. Eversince than I have moved into r/JujutsuFolk and have been enjoying my stay there. I am greatful I caught up to the manga

I don't mind. thanks to spoilers I learned to stay far away from this series. it apparently doesn't get better after whatever the heck the Shibuya arc was trying to do.

@CursedRage I don't know if this post is serious or not but I honestly don't think I've seen a jjk meme that isn't complete and utter cringe.

But the thing ill be scrolling through youtube and just see a panel of a dead character from the manga. That cant be avoided unless i just stop using youtube. This was one way i found out about a death of a character. And also u will be scrolling through instagram and same thing.

one time i saw a video on tktok, he said the opening of season 2 is full of spoilers. like bfr. non manga readers wont even get anything from that opening. after he said that i get spoiled from opening

Plenty of my friends who loved the show dropped it because they basically know who dies and they're pissed that they can't enjoy the show anymore. I myself continued the show (because i hate it and need to validly prove a point to someone who said "it gets better") and don't care enough to be bothered by it. But yeah, i get your point.

I'm surprised that getting spoiled about future events in JJK was the last straw for some people. You'd think they would've dropped the series sooner since it has little plot and relies mostly on shock value to stay afloat.

Here is the thing: People that spoil want to mark their presence and inform everybody that him/her reads JJK. Its almost sort of like they feel above everyone who doesn't read the manga and therefore they are the superior one. They are pretty fucking stupid.

the cursed technique of avoiding spoilers is twisted. on one hand, you want to see people's takes and thoughts on the current JJK season for anime watchers only(manga readers too) without any deviation from where the latest episode or chapter is but inevitably nonchalant weebs will comment on things that have yet to be animated instead of discussing JJK in the boundaries that can be enjoyed by all the people in the JJK community. I'm null and void at this point, I just look to enjoy the delivery of the show despite the spoilers(sigh)

Definitely TikTok, I’ve experienced this with attack on titan aswell to the point where i had to drop season 4 cause i genuinely couldn’t enjoy episodes anymore from the constant spoilers that i got.
It could be edits, memes, comments, they just wouldn’t put spoiler warnings.

With AOT I always saw the Eren forces you to do stuff meme, but with unrelated stuff, so I was lucky I guess, I already saw that specific scene in the anime...

but I HAD a friend, who spoiled me about I'm a Spider, So What?, just after I was 5 episodes in and he spoiled the finale, I never sucker punched anyone before, but he had it coming.
Either way I still enjoyed it, and I now caught up with the manga
