Showed Atleast Some Promise Thanks To The Manga Material . Now , Just Adapt The Intensity Of Battles Right In Next Season . Getting Them Beat Down As Much As Done In Manga , So The Results Feels Right & Since I Liked The Manga , Rating Is Back To 10 . Hope , S2 Adapts Right.

Well that wasn't the best animated final fight. Nothing was explained either, like who these outers are and who this mask guy was. Honestly was just a complete mess.

The setting seemed interesting at the start, but the execution was terrible. Hate this type of story telling where they don't reveal or explain anything. They introduce a bunch of things that go nowhere in the end, like that one red haired senpai from the academy intro who completely disappeared. Then the there was the whole segment with Zod. They went through the whole set up to meet the most interesting character, make some grand bet over a chess game... but then just leave out the resolution? Why?

Really hoping the second season improves on this.

I'm all for manhwa to anime adaptation but how are they going to skip a lot of canonic moments by making a slideshow compilation over music? I see it as a general theme that there is romantic tension Between Desir and Eru but it feels forced, Eru's character in the anime just follows typical Anime where female lead is always blushing around MC no matter what.

Guys I wanna know how is the animation of
"A Returner's Magic Should Be Special" it looks pretty average to me by trailer, is there any good animation in it?

the actual series is several times worse than the trailer. no. the animation is terrible, and the action scenes have ridiculous amount of still frames. they also cut too many things from the novel. the anime adaptation is a 3/10. i don't recommend watching it, and i don't understand how it got a season 2. they want to butcher more?

Lol Desir & Azest Relationship changed a lot since the 1st Encounter 😆.
Man the awkward moment btwn them in the end before the ED was Good at least on my page.
Looks like Azest joined their team. i am happy for this team.
The fateful day has arrived they must win against this, in order to prevent more casualties in future & save the world.
Really enjoyed this. looking forward to watch S2.
Score 7/10 by me at MAL.

Desir being from the future knows how to draw on the power from the Magic Gem without it being processed and used higher circle magic. But Mr. Kraiken goes full reptile armor and goes on the offensive. His powered up self seems like it might be too much for Desir to handle, but after a bunch of fancy moves Desir turns the tables. He analyzed the magical items being worn and used the Magic Gem to pull of a massive fireball. This is enough for the reptilian man to be defeated and the Pram and Romantica join him. Some creepy shadow is shown and then it disappears. It looks like Mr. Kraiken was not the top boss after all, sounds like more battles to come after this.

Desir meets up with Zod as his reward for protecting the Tear. They were friends in the original timeline and Zod was one of the most powerful magic users to ever exist. They play some version of chess and Desir makes it known to Zod that he can access the mana inside the unprocessed gems. Is he trying to just drop enough hints to Zod that he is hoping he will pick up on the fact that he is a time traveler?

Azest is at some party where they are trying to patch things up with the Blue Moon supporters. Pugface Fatman says she can either join in on trying to get them back into good standing or leave Blue Moon. She leaves Blue Moon and he has a dumb look on his face.

Desir is starting to let Pram and Romantica in on what is going to happen. In 13 days there is a Shadow World that is going to kill a bunch of people. I don't know if they were two of the people killed or if he is just saying that they would all die just to spur their behinds into training hard. He was about to spill the beans on the time travel thing and Romantica tells him to stop so that she can dig up the dirt on him and have fun doing the detective work.

Cut to a montage of training. Azest joins the party and ghost walks past her former Blue Moon party-mates. Romantica makes a tin can into a smooth sphere. Pram beats his master, and Azest makes a tea kettle and two cups out of a piece of paper. She slips on an errant piece of paper on the floor and ends up falling into Desir.

In the post credits there is a 13 with two words I can't read. I am guessing it says 13 days later because the academy still is standing. All students are warned about the new shadow world. The trio heads off in their combat uniforms and Azest shows up fashionably late. There are the final 6 (minus Desir) and then Pram, Romantica, and 4 people I do not recognize but am sure will be coming in the next set of episodes that get released.

Great series. Looking forward to a season 2.

quite nice and watchable really. exactly same as Wistoria Wand and Sword but studios are different for some reason, Elfaria and Arg*** looking exactly the same.
