i dont think thats the issue here. there are countless anime where female characters beat the living schitt out of men and fans usually dont care.
i personally grew up in a time when android 18 a beautiful female absolutely destroyed a very proud male named vegeta. broke his arm and everything.

That’s cool tbh, all the power to Android 18, but I’m talking about when you have strong female characters who aren’t just strong for comic relief. By this I mean characters like Sakura who started off just beating Naruto up but when it came to actual combat she always fell short. Obviously this changed a bit by the time Shippuden happened.

I believe Yor is stronger than Loid, and if they ever were to fight, I think it would be very close, but Yor’s physical prowess and endurance might give her an advantage. I don’t believe her strength is solely for comic relief though.

Obviously lol. She destroys Loid in a good 'ol fashioned fist fight/brawl. But if Loid is allowed to make preparations in advance, I'm sure he can beat her. He has traps, various weapon mastery and fierce intellect at his disposal.

Too much people are underestimating Loid, maybe Yor is slighty better at hand-to-hand fighting but don't forget Loid is a spy
