This episode gave me feelings I couldn't explain. It's like, when the captain said to Takekazu that he wanted no matter what to play a match in the aqua pole, and also when he said his talent could do no things to him (that was intended to be a joke LOL), i was so shocked, but then I'm understanding the path the anime plot is walking through. Minato remembers me a lot, he tries to step back on something he wants to do, but when a friend or someone from the family calls him back to take part or something alike, he doesn't think twice and already go without knowing what is given for me and what things will be given and waited for.

So far it's just so average that it's already boring. I kinda like (or more like feel sympathy) toward main character, but rest of the cast... Usually members of sports club in anime are interesting, here we just got bunch of kinda random guys. Plus whole behaviour toward main got me gesticulating wildly 'like what the hell do you want from this guy'. Dude was in an accident, remembers nothing and here we have bunch of assholes (biggest example would be this fckn crowd, complete douchebaga) trying to use him for their own purposes. Thanks to that i cannot feel any chemistry behind main cast yet, just bunch of random guys with ulterior motives, trying to use previously national level player.
First episode was better, second doesn't give me much hope for the series, especially only 12 episodes.

It will definitely be interesting to see the entire process of them recruiting the 7th member of the water polo team now that they officially have 6 members; definitely curious to see what's next!

It has its good points when they focus only on water polo, it's the only thing I like at the moment

His motivation to join the club is... so meh :D Ik he realized it himself. but I expected the last straw to be some family-related reason, or that he gain the sparks again after watching other people play polo water sport or something lolll.

anywaysss I don't like the team members so far :| yeah yeah it's only ep 2 and we hardly know anything about them. but none caught my attention for now. hope to see more interaction so I can finally root for them!!

CAN I JUST SAY HOW WELL WRITTEN THE CHARACTER INTERACTIONS HERE WERE??

like, they are so fleshed out, so....TEENAGER-Y that i got triggered lol. how touching and resonating was it this guy who shows up and has a nice body so he thinks any sport will do as long as he has enough talent that he doesn't have to work super hard to meet someone who was willing to practice ALONE and get out there to recruit new members collide head to head like that!

and even though they both were honest with each other by the end, putting their fears out there directly to a stranger ("i want to feel special") ("i don't want to be alone anymore") really made their quick bonding so...believable because that takes guts to do!!

and then for them to both miss each other but still join forces to collaborate?? very well done, i like these characters way more than the water polo aspects of it. also i really like glasses-kun's character, i think he'll be very interesting to watch as this continues on

nothing about this is screaming out to me to watch it, the dialogue seems off, the character's motivations are weak, it's all just rather bland.

Glad that Minato voiced his feelings there on not being able to handle the forced pressure as that was mad frustrating to see. I'm truly disappointed and annoyed by that glasses-twat Oka as he should know damn well Minato isn't the same as before the accident.

the animation of mappa is amazing and the story is also good acc to a original anime liked it very much
