| Can’t believe I made it to 1000 eps of an anime (currently at 999 for One piece). I started watching this in 2019 during my first semester of college. Although I did skip fillers starting ep 500. Kind of disappointed that they didn’t do main plot for 1000th episode, I mean it’s not that often a series hits this mark, it should’ve been a banger episode. |

| Start watching detective conan in August 24 this year and reached episode 1000 in 5 November, grateful to join the 3 digit episode to 4 digit. Also remaking the moonlight sonata case is the perfect way to celebrate the 1000 episode considering this case was a breakthrough for conan character development and its really iconic case. |
| Now my second 1,000+ episode show after One Piece, though this actually hit that milestone first. I just caught up with One Piece a lot quicker due to its less episodic nature making it easier to binge than Conan is. Still remember watching this case on Adult Swim over 20 years ago now. Which itself was nearly a decade after it originally aired in Japan. Has it really been that long? There were times where I didn't really think I'd ever catch up to Conan, but with a mere(relatively speaking) 155 episodes and handful of movies left to go I can see the light at the end of that tunnel getting brighter. And a belated congratulations to Aoyama-sensei and all who worked on the series from the beginning to this day! |
