The difference is that Aniplex published the Magia Record gacha. But they aren't a game company, they are an anime distributor from Sony Music Japan. |

It's true the name Madoka helps to attract players, but no one stays just for them. |

| Well this was obvious. Magia went at a snails pace which would be fine if they actually achieved anything they aimed to do (Ui, The New reason why people dont turn into witches, why Uwasa's are needed or a thing), they didnt explain anything of importance and most of the end part of the series was just one big sequel bait. Oh but dont worry, they explaiened to us that magical girls become witches, they spent a nice amount of time on that but kind of missed the more important thing to explain, because, s.e.q.u.e.l..b.a.i.t.i.n.g |

| If I'm guessing right, the next season would probably start with Madoka (maybe along with Homura) saving Iroha and thus becoming friends. |

| Watching season 1 and enjoying it, I take it the score is low on MAL because of mainly toxic trolls as per usual with this website? If people are giving it low scores because it isn't as dark as the original series then what we're they expecting knowing that this is made from a game and wasn't written by urobuchi. I'm just enjoying it for what it is, but hey I'm old and I don't get involved with hype and Anime drama like a lot of people on this site seem to. |

Season 2 will be good for sure and free from low ratings. It happens when people compare a 13 episode show with not a 13 episode show. It's not a direct sequel to the original so the typical fans get frustrated when they aren't offered what they have longed for. So basically it doesn't meet their expectations. Game audience love it. |

Does the original even need a sequel? I thought Rebellion was pretty conclusive. If they made a sequel and it wasn't written and directed by the same people I think I'd rather they didn't bother. I don't mind in this Animes case as this is as spin off so it's different. |
