| Zeref's defeat was foreshadowed in Ep 40 When Natsu said ( I still have my power ) He got beaten by Natsu's own flames power + outside interference with Lucy rewriting the book as she had the pen on the book in the entire fight with Natsu and Zeref during the time Zeref and Natsu's fists were at each other in the big clash. |

| About time Natsu punched Zeref with his fist raging with the fire of emotion! MEN!!! Pretty noble sacrifice of the true man Ichiya and timetraveller Anna, but since this is Fairy tail I'm pretty sure Acnologia will make a comeback for a true final fight |

| Gotta love that no matter how strong an enemy is or what kind of massive powerup they get, all Natsu needs to do is just try to punch harder & make his fire hotter... Like out of all Shounens, Natsu has the most generic attacks... Everything is basically the same thing until he ultimately decides "welp, guess I gotta just punch for REAL this time!" Profit. |

So far in the sequel Mashima is not repeating this mistake he nerfed Natsu´s Flames of Emotion and is no longer used in fights as a win There always a explanation of why he wins unlike Alvarez Trash arc |
| Kinda anticlimatic, tbh. Somehow reminds me of how they hyped The Night King in GoT, they way Aclonogia just vanished. |

| But Zeref can reverse time right? We just saw it last episode, so why not this time lol. Why always logic is that one thing lacking in Fairy tail. Atleast the stuff with Ichiya and his heroics redeemed this episode for me. Nevermind what happened with Acnologia, thank goodness they didn't show something like Jellal beating the hell out of him because you know.. fairy tail. Though hey again I'm sure this ain't the end of Acnologia, we'll see him again sooner. |

| So Acnologia was easily defeated? Zeref's ultimate power was defeated by a single punch in the name of friendship? The only good thing in this episode was Erza and Jellal's moment. They were fantastic. |

| Ichiya has been MVP whole series in multiple parts. At first I thought he was piloting the ship, then it was Anna which kind of surpised me but made sense, but when struggling knew Ichiya would come <3 Zeref is a clown, and classic Fairy Tail, one of most powerful wizards who also has immortality, ends up losing only after gaining unlimited power also. Wonder how much Lucy was re-writing during this. Wonder if Mavis will do the thing I have been expecting this whole time "I want you to live!" "I love you!" "I want us to live together!" and bonking him again. However, we shall see, as been questioning myself and her plan with the inaction. Zeref lost his pathetic Acnologia excuse too now |
