i watched fairy tail first a long time ago but i never finished it, therefore i consider Sailor Moon (92) my first anime since i completed it

As a kid, my first animes were the airing ones, Pokemon, Digimon, DragonBal and Inuyasha.

When I got my first PC, I started seriously with anime, where I watched Inuyasha. I met really good people with that anime, it has a warm place on my heart despte I tried to watch it again some motnhs ago and I couldn't what more than 2 episodes...

The first anime I ever watched was Kimi No Na Wa (Your Name). But the first anime series/ show I ever watched was Berserk.

My first serious I ever watched knowing it was anime was Tiger and bunny (not counting the stuff as a kid i watched) . I remember at the time thinking it was the greatest thing ever lol

High School of the Dead. I was like twelve years old and my best friend told me to watch it.
I was way too young to be watching that, tbh, but it at least introduced me to what anime was, since I had no clue what it was.
I didn't really get into anime until much later though.

The first anime I watched was dragon ball z but the first anime that i actually knew was a anime was fairy tail as i thought that as a kid dbz was just a cool cartoon so between the two were my first anime.

The first anime knowing it was from the land of the rising sun would be Blue Exorcist.

Outside of seeing pokemon or yu-gi-oh as a kid, the first thing I saw proper was Akira, probably not something i should have seen at the time, but was so interesting visually. Took me years to re-find it since i didn't know its name back then.

First, Pokemon, without knowing it was an anime. But Naruto was the first anime I watched with awareness of what "anime" was.
