Unfortunately it only had 12 episodes, i really hope they add more!

It’s a good show, good potential, personally loved it! All i think this series needs is a large enough group requesting for a season 2, with more detail and screen time for each character. Personally i think they just rushed the hell out of it to get 12 episodes out, but it shouldn’t end there with that kind of ending.

I hope to see a season 2 with introductions to more characters (such as the Russian animas), and i hope to see more character depth and background. I think if they thicken the plot with the Xi it would do good too. All this anime needs to do would be to add more time out of battle and to focus on some characters and get more of a “emotional connection” with the crowd. I notice a lot of anime’s make you like a character and want to see them do well and succeed. This show just lacked those bonds to the characters.

I highly recommend you guys introduce the anime to some friends, make it larger, grow the fan community, see this show actually take off. Give it a chance as it is fairly new still and there is still that potential to turn around and possibly become really good. I hope to see a second season so bad now, and this is coming from a guy who watched it all in a one night sitting, lol! Keep in mind it was only 12 episodes and what can you expect from that, they can’t do all this character depth with that many episodes so if they do provide more seasons they just might.

An extremely weak ending. They would have been wiser doing this as a 2 cour show, rather than so much rushing at the end, and then just stopping mid stream.

A little disappointing with the end, make my Rhino-chan rip like that, really unbeliavable moment. Its better to put that Kei into some zombie Xi, rather make him a fuckin harem master in the future.

This show had a lot of potential. And the studio had a lot of effort to make every transition, i appreciate it. However, i feel this show just missed some good parts. The end not giving a touchable moment too, which is enterring a huge decreasing point.

At last, since the resources still on-progress, this show never dumped. It still had a potential to go further. So, overall, i believe my 7/10 scores are enough to put my effort for this little show. If only they added more action in the end, and left that drama behind, i surely give more than that. And ofc, some spicy romantic moment will be good to close this show. Yeah, its good, nor bad too.

Ah for the complete score, i believe this attachment can bring enough detail to my feeling:

Story : 8 > its pretty interesting to build such a story like these one. They can give so much different genre vibes into one series. Thats a great solution to put some girly show like this into the next level of satisfaction. However, they sometimes put filler. Using bad transition over some story, making it like a blank space after a rainbow

Music, sounds : 9 > OST were goods. The insert sounds sometime funny and really match with all of every situations. Such a good direction and insertion beyond story messed that happen on some episode. This is truly the strength to the show.

Art : 7 > Its good. I can't call it great too, because its still lacking some attachment. Idk how to explain it, so, yeah, this is my random thought over so much writes i make. Lol.

Character : 6 > personality too dull. So its not enjoyable somehow. Even some character don't have enough time to improve while they just make a great impact to the story. Let me make an example here: Minghua. Clear? That point may be over rated, but whatever.

Overall and enjoyment goes to 7. Because it still had a lack touchable ending like i stated above, facepalmed. And the action feel bored too, which is rather ny secondary opinion, i believe. I really hoping that this show had some continuations in the future. Well, maybe, idk with my future. Okay, i think thats enough explanations. Time for me to take off too, then!

I for one liked this series very much, or maybe it's because of my bias for being into 4th generation Jet fighters like Gripen.

Watching this series is kinda like random fun.. and in fairness, the animation quality was kinda consistent throughout the series. Most of all, the jets. Although brightly colored. I do love their designs.

I read that the anime hasn't really adapted most of the novels. So here's me hoping for some miracle and Satelight would continue to adapt and finish Girly Air Force and the fight against ZAI. (Yep it's ZAI ni XI LOL )

As for the dogfight scenes.. The ACM stuff is there, but I guess this one has lower budget and the manuevres had to be animated with limited frames. (I play DCS World and some other sims that's why, though I suck at dogfighting LOL)

I'd like a season 2 or 3 if ever. :)

and finally I like Gripen, Phantom & Viper Zero. :)

I enjoyed this series. Like I said before, it was nothing special, but I thought it was interesting from start to finish, though I have to admit I am a sucker for anything involving a military theme + cute girls. Sadly I doubt there will be a season two, and the novels aren't translated...

This is exactly what I thought, couldn't say it better xD
Hopefully there will be a second season in the future :)
