| Orange: Marks? She felt her neck. Orange: oh, ouch... it's kinda sore... I dunno... I... I kinda feel a little light headed... I guess... She stumbled and put her hand against the wall to steady herself. Orange: hm? my name's... Karen. It was a fake name, but she didn't think she should give him a real name, not now at least... Orange: Where's the nearest hotel? I mean... hospital? She stumbled again, then gave up and sat down. Orange: I don't know why, but I really tired. |
| "Karen huh.... alright, um... a hospital.... to tell you the truth, I've never been to one before so I wouldn't know," said Tenshi with a slight nervous laugh, "but I'm sure some of my friends back at a pub I help out around might now," he added as he began to stretch his legs out. A few seconds later he turned around and took a knee, "Hop on, it may be a little awkward but its faster this way." Tenshi sighed, "Wait... that would get you there any faster.... ah! Maybe if I get a better overview of the city, I might be able to spot one," he added, "Hold on a sec 'kay? I'll be right back," he said as he got off his knee, but still stayed close to the ground. He was crouched down ready to jump upwards when it dawned on him, 'Wait.... is this really okay.... it might freak her out if she see somebody jumping so high... but.. I have to do it," he thought. He took a deep breath then sprung off the ground a good thirty feet into the air, and he continued to go up by kicking off the walls until he was high in the sky above the city. He spotted a a sigh with a big red cross on it. 'Alright! There's one,' he thought to himself as he plummeted back to the ground landed on his right foot. "Um... there seems to be one not to far from here," said Tenshi, he was somewhat nervous as to what the womans reaction might be, "I can show you the way..." |

| Orange watched as Tenshi practically flew up into the air. Her first thought was, I s want to try that... Orange: Wow, that was pretty amazing... oh but yeah, ok. thanks. I should probably check t out. She tried to steady herself with a little success. |
| Tenshi stood there rubbing the back of his neck, "It isn't that amazing," he said with a slight nervous laugh, "hmm...," he started to ponder, "maybe it would be better if I carried you on my back... you look like yo can barely walk, and if I run along the rooftops if would be faster," he added, "I wouldn't be much of an angel if I couldn't..." he muttered softly to himself. |
| Orange: umm... She thought it was kind of awkward. Orange: I guess. Thank you. Tenshi turned around and knelt down a little. Orange blushed, but she stepped over, wrapped her arms around his neck. He stood up and took her legs in his arms. She felt awkward about being so close against him, but she didn't want to fall as he jumped up to the rooftops. |
| Tenshi was jumping from rooftop to rooftop trying to make sure that "Karen" didn't fall off in the process. He felt like his lost his footing a few times but he was able to recover it in less than a few seconds. The hospital was in his sight, "I'm gonna drop down this alleyway, then walk the rest of the way 'kay. I don't want to make that big of a scene around here. I mean... its not everyday you see a guy runnin' along the rooftops," said Tenshi with a smile and she nodded, "Hang on tight," he added as he could feel her grip tighten. He desended into the alleyway and landed firmly on his feet. As he came out of the alleyway he could feel somesort of demonic presense in the area, 'Dammit... it'll have to wait. Getting her to the hospital is my first priority,' thought Tenshi as he continued to walk with her on his back. For the time they landed in the alley till the present time, he appeared to be lost in though. However, he was still able to navigate his way around people on the sidewalk, 'Maybe if I freeze time for a few seconds, I can take care of the demon and get her there, Tenshi continued to ponder. He felt as if somebody was trying to talk to him, but his thoughts were louder than the voice. |

| Orange: Did you say something? Tenshi: Oh, it was nothing. Orange: oh, ok... um... does anything feel weird too you? Like other than me being on your back? It feels like somethings following us. I've noticed it since you landed in the alley... Neither of them noticed because it was hidden between Tenshi's back and Orange's chest, but her carnelian had started glowing, recognizing the same presence that Tenshi and Orange did. |
| Tenshi stopped, "I'm gonna put you down for a second 'kay?" he asked as he lightly set her down. He noticed that her necklace was glowing, 'Whats th-' he began to ponder as the presence seemed to start getting closer. His eyes closed, and when he reopened them they were glowing an icy blue, "Its near," said Tenshi, his personality reverted back to that of his darker side. He extended his left arm as the air began to chill. Ice began to form in his hand as he sung it backwards, causing a giant scythe to form. Its chains wrapped around his arm. He looked over to 'Karen', "It's not safe here.... find somewhere to hide," He turned away from her and slammed his scythe into the ground, "The Icy Scythe of Death! Zetsumei! Cover this town with your eternal frost!" The sky began to darken as everything began to slow to a stop. Birds were frozen in mid-flight, and a balloon that escaped from a child's hand right above him. Tenshi looked over his shoulder and saw 'Karen' in a state of dismay, but she was still able to move about while the town was completely frozen. 'How can she still move? though Tenshi as he heard something rushing towards them. [Meanwhile] Kuro's eye was twitching as he looked at the beer freeze in midair, "Dammit... Tenshi-kun must be fighting somewhere," he said as he laid his head on the table, "I'm too drunk to move much... I'm sure he can handle it.. but," he looks at the frozen beer, "Why'd he have to freeze time..." "Probably because there are a lot of people around and its the middle of the day," said Karin as she put down her washcloth from the mugs she was washing, "It isn't that big of a barrier though, so he might finish fast..." she said as she looked outwards to the city with a concerned look on her face. |

| Tenshi gritted his teeth as he jumped to avoid the attack. He lifted his arm, "Fires of Hell rain down upon those whom stand before me, Gouka!" exclaimed Tenshi as massive fireballs of swirling red and black dashed towards the demon. Tenshi landed on the ground and uppercut it with his scythe, severing one of its arms. His scythe began to glow, "Engulf this being with your ice-cold fangs! Toukan no Doragon!" he roared as a giant blue dragons head rushed from his scythe and slammed into the demon, obliterating it where it stood. Tenshi began to pant heavily as he dropped to his knees, his scythe disappeared and his eyes weren't glowing any longer. He forced himself to smirk, "That took more out of me then I thought... I knew it was a bad idea to cast that twice in less than a day..." he began to get up and slouched against a wall by Orange, "Are you alright?" he asked as time began to flow normally again. |

| "I'm fine... I just need to catch my breath," Tenshi said as he sat down resting his back on the building, "What part did you mean?" asked Tenshi as he beaconed for her to sit down as well. |
| Orange: It's ok, I think I need to stand. Umm... all of it? That thing? the ice? the fire? and how did no one notice? |
| Tenshi looked a little confused but then it dawned on him, "Oh thats right. First, no one noticed because I froze time," he said with a smile but Orange looked confused, "The fire and ice were two of my spells I masters, the fire one was Hell Fire and the ice on was Dragon of Ice," he added, but she looked even more lost, "That 'thing' was a demon, usually I don't hunt them when there isn't a mark on their heads so I can get the bounty. It seems like it was a weak one that was just starting to cause trouble, a newborn probably..." he finished but she looked as lost as ever. "Oh yeah, my name again is Tenshi Akki, but I didn't tell you all of it. I am also know as the Angel of Light and Darkness, and I'm a Grim Angel. What about you? I have a question... how were you able to move about when I had the time frozen... you look like a human, but you must have something supernatural about you..." |
| Orange: wait wait wait. That was a demon? angel? spells? For real? |
| Tenshi nodded and stood up, "I'm fine now, I should get you to the hospital now," Tenshi said. His legs were a little shaky and he could barely stand up straight, "Yep, all of it is true, although it might be a little hard to grasp at first..." he added with a smirk, his legs were still somewhat shaky. 'Dammit... I knew I used up too much energy... I can still bring her though... I might even have to check in that human hospital... at least I don't have to worry about them finding wings,' he thought to himself and chuckled slightly. [Meanwhile] Kuro was cleaning up the beer that had spilled everywhere, "See I told you," mocked Karin and Kuro just grunted. |
| Orange: Umm right, ok... I think after all of that though I don't need a hospital... Back at the hideout. Red slowly got up. He turned on the tv. The news was reporting his little job the night before. Reporter: Several million dollars were lost in cash; however, certain jewelry was stolen that is claimed to be priceless. Red: These things? cool. Reporter: Sadly, after robbing the bank, 10 of the responding police died and another 4 were injured. Blue: That's a pretty good number. Red: You're awake? Blue: Well duh, the volumes at nearly 30. Red: Oh sorry. Blue: Where's Orange? Red: Huh? probably out for a walk... |
| Tenshi laughed a little, "Well thats good. So are you alright with getting back on your own? Or do you need me to go with, I mean just in case another person like the one in that alleyway comes around," asked Tenshi, 'I don't know who is worse though... that random person or me, because I came out of nowhere as well...' he thought waiting for her reply. |
| Orange: Well, I could... wait, where are you going? Just wondering, I mean, what if I need to learn more about demons or something? |
| "Every hear of Zenten Pub?" asked Tenshi, "I think a few people there might be able to fill in the gaps that I leave out, I'm just one of many Bounty Hunters in this town," he added. |
| Blue: I'm feel like skydiving. I'll be back later tonight. Red: Ok, see ya. Red got some cereal and sat down to watch TV as he waited for Orange to get back. Orange: Can I come with? I wanna learn more about this... |
| Tenshi smiled, "Sure, I'm doubt anyone would mind seeing a new face. Jake always likes meeting new people, and you can see my friend and partner, Kuro. Only thing I have to warn you about is that everyone there isn't human. They are all supernatural in different ways. Oh, and watch out for-" Tenshi stopped, as the two were talking he spotted a old man sitting outside reading a newspaper, "Bank Robbery - Three priceless artifacts missing... um sir, can I see that for a second?" The old man smiled a tooth-less smile and handed it to Tenshi. Tenshi skimmed through it, '10 policeman dead, several millions in cash gone, and three rare pieces of jewelry missing... a necklace, a ring, and a bracelet... he thought to himself, "Thanks," he handed it back to the man and looked up to the sky, "I don't remember anything like that... must've happened during all that chaos last night during my mark..." he said as he looked back at Orange, she looked a little worried, "You okay?" |
| Orange saw the headline. She coughed. Orange: yeah, I should be fine. Just, you know, thinking about all that's happened. haha, and the day's only just started. So wait. not human? |
| Tenshi smiled, "Thats good to hear, well yeah.. for instance, my partner is a Seraph. Jake is a warlock, and another is named Eucephalus and he is a Khajiit. Oh thats right, watch out for Karin, she may appeared to be caring and gentle but..." he shuddered, "She packs quite a punch.. oh and she is an angel." [Meanwhile] Karin heard a loud ringing in her ears, "Dammit Jake! Get the phone!" she exclaimed, Jake just stood there with an empty stare. "Maybe someone is talkin' 'bout you," snickered Kuro as Karin slugged him. "That was uncalled for..." muttered Eucephalus. "You want some too?" asked Karin. "No ma'am..." he added. |

| They continued to walk until they finally got to the pub, "Well... here goes nothing," He turned his head towards her, "Brace yourself." "Wel-" started Karin, "Oh... hey Tenshi..." "Same to you," he said with a sigh, her eye twitched. "Hmm? Who is your friend?" asked Karin. "She can introduce herself," said Tenshi. Karin's eyes narrowed and she threw a bottle at him, he ducked and it shattered, "The hell?!? What do you thin-" he started but she picked up another. "Thats rude of you, now clean that up!" she barked, Tenshi began to open his mouth, "Now...." she added with a scary look. "Someones whipped..." mocked Kuro. "You want to join him," she asked and he fell silent, "Now then... Hello, I'm Karin Mitsukai, welcome to Zenten Pub. Can I get you something to drink?" she asked as her frown towards Tenshi and Kuro turned into a smile towards Orange, "Come come, have a seat," she added as she hurried her to a open stool. |
| Orange: umm... Karen, my name's Karen too. Drink? this early in the morning? She looked around and noticed that everyone else had a glass in front of them. Orange: so early... well, when in Rome... Bourbon? |
| "So what'll you have?" asked Karin. "I'll have a water," said Tenshi as he dumped the glass in the sharps bin behind the counter, "Its too early for me to drink..." "You rarely ever do..." said Kuro. "Because you always blow the money on it..." replied Tenshi. "You can get your own stuff Tenshi, you know where it is," hissed Karen, "So what brings you hear Karen?" she asked as her gaze drifted towards her necklace, "Oooo, where did you get that?" Tenshi got his water and joined Kuro and the group, "Whats with her today?" asked Tenshi as Kuro shrugged. Tenshi did the same and started to drink his water. "You know you aren't gonna be sitting long before she asks for you to help out..." sighed Kuro. "I know... I know.." added Tenshi. |
| Orange: oh this? Her carnelian was still glowing faintly. Orange: It's a family heirloom I think. At least three or four generations back. Isn't the flower cute? She showed lifted it a little to show Karin. |
| Karin's eyes grew as she looked at it, "I wish I could have something like that, though I don't have that much money to buy something like it. I am after all just a bartender," she said. "Get a boyfriend then," mocked Kuro. Karin turned flush red, "I'm too busy with work to find one," she said. "There is a lot of fish in this sea," he continued to mock. She grew a little annoyed and picked up a bottle, "I'll stop!" he exclaimed as he waved his hands frantically. Tenshi smirked as he got up to get more water, "You can always go after a bounty or two. You seem like you can handle a few of them," he said. "Oh a compliment from Tenshi-kun? Shocking," teased Kuro. "You have a death wish don't you?" asked Tenshi and Karin in unison. Kuro turned his gaze towards his mug and didn't say anything. |
| Orange: Sounds like the people here have a lot of fun. haha. Wait, what's all of this about bounty hunting? |
| "Oh thats right, almost everyone here is a bounty hunter. I thought I had mentioned it, but it seems I didn't," Tenshi said as he rubbed the back of his neck as he laughed. "Well it isn't much, we usually only have small jobs, because Tenshi and Kuro are usually the first to jump at the big one," said Karin, "and I can't believe you talked to her about it," she said as she glared at Tenshi. "Oops my bad," Tenshi seemed annoyed a bit, "It came out when I was fighting off a demon. She knows about almost all of us as well." "So how'd she react to your other you?" asked Kuro. "I think it was a little early for her to realize anything..." muttered Tenshi, "I mean I just meet her today." "Your split is still hard for me to figure out..." said Karin with a sigh. |
| Orange: Wait split? like personalities? there re two of you? By the way, how much does this bounty score usually pay? |
| "Heh heh... yeah. I had said that I'm the Angel of Light and Darkness, right now I'm the Angel of Light, and when I fight or get ready to fight my other side takes over, the Angel of Darkness. To go further in detail might be hard right now," he said, "Bounties vary in prices, it depends on how big the mark is. The last one I finished with Kuro was 100,000 yen." "But we are only getting 75,000 because we promised 30,000 to two people," added Kuro. "So you did finish? I'll have Jake get it for you later," said Karin. "Thanks," said Tenshi with a smirk. |
| Orange: Oh... that's it...? No offense! I mean... well... I guess you can say I'm a little spoiled... She swallowed what was left in her glass. Orange: aii, too much... |
| "Well you see. There is a story behind it," Tenshi said as he took a stool next to her, "When I was young-" he started but got cut off by Karin. "This any time for trips down memory lane, go get that table more refills," she said. Tenshi sighed, "Fine.... but I better get paid this time... I'll have to tell ya another time." 'That was close...' thought Kuro as he sipped his beer. |
| Orange: haha, no one likes his stories? speaking of which, I'm sure you'd all have some pretty exciting stories to tell for a commoner like me. |
| "Well its not like we don't like them...." said Karin but then she fell silent. "Its hard for us to hear, you see not all of his memories as good ones and well... that isn't a good one..." said Kuro. Tenshi was in the distance pouring beer in some of the other customers mugs with a smile on his face. 'Honestly... I don't know how he can always be like that...' thought Karin. "But there is no need to worry 'bout him, he doesn't like it when people are down," said Kuro, "lets see... exciting.... oh! One time we, well I, snuck into Karin's hou-" he started but Karin slammed his fist into in cheek, her face was scarlet red. "Never... talk... about that... again... if you... like living...." said Karin who was huffing and puffing. |

| The mammoth beast rose from his seat and took one next to Orange, "Hello there, Eucephalus the name," he said with what seemed to be a friendly voice, "Nice to meet you." Jake walked into the room, "Its rare to see you in a friendly mood," he snickered. "Oh there you are," said Karin as he headed to Jake," I need the keys to get the guys there reward." "You mean he had them all along?!?" exclaimed Kuro, "He said you had them!" "Figures," said Tenshi as he started to chuckle. "Haha, my bad. Here Karin," said Jake as he handed her the keys and she ran to get the money from the basement. Kuro just sat there glaring at Jake. |
| Orange: whoa... She was a little shocked. Orange: umm... I hope you don't think this is rude, but ... umm... what are you? |
| "He's a Khajiit, otherwise known as panther men. He is a bit unusual for his breed though, seeing as how his fur is black when others of his race are usually orange to a fiery red," said Tenshi as he was finally able to rest. Eucephalus was silently sipping his beer with a somewhat depressed look, "Come on man, she said she was sorry," added Tenshi trying to cheer up the wounded beast. |
| Orange: Really, I'm sorry, I'm just, you know, not used to seeing... um... Khajiit, right? I really hope you don't take offense, I mean, is there anything I can do? to make up for it? |
| "You can buy the next round!" exclaimed Kuro. Karin who just came back and heard Kuro's comment, shot him an icy glare and reached for a bottle, "On second thought..." he said as he rubbed his neck nervously. "Its fine. It isn't everyday that you see someone like me," Eucephalus said which was soon followed by a roar of laughter from him. "Heres your pay then Tenshi," said Karin with a smile. "Oh thank you," replied Tenshi as he counted the money and took 35,000 of it out for Kuro, 30,000 for Mia and Aki, and pocketed 35,000 for himself," Oye you guys, come and get your share," he exclaimed waving towards Aki, Mia and Kuro. "Sweet! This means more booze!" hollered Kuro as he snatched his share. |
| Orange: I can pay for your next drink if you want... I wouldn't mind. She watched as they distributed the money. Wow, they're all jumping over this quick... I feel bad. I guess the real money is in bank robbing... |
| The smell of freshly baked shortbread wafted up in front of Kagami’s nose. She was supposed to be looking for her brother, but ditching that, decided to buy some shortbread and stroll around for a little bit. Honestly though, she thought a little guiltily, he could be anywhere. When they were younger the siblings wouldn’t have left each other’s sides. But now that they were older and more mature, as Kiosho (her brother) put it, they could look after themselves. Kagami thought it was dangerous really, but that was them, living life on the edge. They were so much safer at the old man, Papi’s, house. But unfortunately, given the sibling were two supernatural beings, it wasn’t safe for Papi. “Nya, om nom nom,” Kagami finished the last shortbread, savouring the taste. Her wide blue eyes searching, hunting for more food places. It was getting rather dark, in fact it got dark quite a while ago. She just hadn’t been keeping up with time. Where was Kiosho?! You know where he is, her inner voice whispered with bitter malice, wondering again. Off in his own world. Not caring about you. Kagami growled, shutting that vicious little voice in her head away again. Voices reached Kagami’s ears. Quite a few voices. A gang? Oh god, oh god, I’m going to be beaten up and kidnapped, why didn’t I just go back home and ring Aniki’s mobile? She thought to herself desperately, trying her hardest not the breathe. She peeked around the corner, surely enough there they were. They were a strange looking bunch. Kagami, who had never seen a gang before, immediately jumped to the conclusion they were, after all they seemed to have bank money. A gasp emmited from her mouth before she could clamp her hand over it. It’s over now, she thought desperately, I’ll never see aniki again. |

| Red noticed that it had gotten dark outside. Wow... where's Orange? I haven't seen her all day. He called her cellphone, but heard it ring in her room. He walked over and saw it sitting on her nightstand. Maybe if I go for a walk I'll run into her, or she'll be here when I get back... He left the building and started to walk, just walk. He wasn't sure where he would go, but it was a cool evening, good for a late stroll. Blue landed on solid ground, still with adrenaline pumping through his system. He decided to hit up an X-games park just outside the city. He watched the motocross bikers on the track. Not bad... but I could do so much better. He ran over to the announcers booth. Blue: Hey Tony! Tony: Hey what's up? How's my boy in blue? Blue: I'm doing alright and you? Tony: We got an awesome crowd tonight. Everyone's on their feet. Some great races coming up. Blue: I know dude, I was hoping I could crash the party! Tony: You know where your bike is, go for it! I'll add you in. Hey! Rich! Get this guy in the next race. Rich: Got it. Blue: See you when you give me that trophy. Tony: haha, you gotta win first. Blue: Minor detail... A few minutes later, Blue was warming up to ride. The race before his was finished. He lined up with the rest of the bikers. A few minutes later: Blue: Told ya. Tony: haha, shut up. Blue was finally starting to settle down for the day. He walked out of the locker room in his street clothes and saw a woman waiting for him. Sarah: Hey, my name's Sarah. Blue: Hey, how are you? Sarah: I wanted to say you were really good out there today and umm.. She bit her lip and looked at the ground nervously. Sarah: You wanna go to a club or something? Blue: I was just thinking the same thing. I know this awesome place, come on! He grabbed her hand and led her to his street bike. They went to a club and danced until early the next morning. Orange: So, how do people hire you guys? And do you do pretty much anything? |
| "Well we usually do anything thats available, me and Kuro here don't really care what the pay is as long as it can get us by," said Tenshi. "But Tenshi-kun is trying to save up so that he can open his own business for Hunters," added Kuro. "Its not going that great yet because all the money is usually blown by Kuro," he said as the two laughed. "I'll never understand them," snickered Karin. "But I don't plan on being a Hunter all my life," said Tenshi as Karin let off a surprised looked, "I have my own plans for the future..." he added. "What do you mean by that!" exclaimed Karin. Tenshi looked down at his mug, "I don't really want to be like this forever... I'm sorry but I'm heading out..." Tenshi got up and grabbed his trench coat. "Wa-" Karin started as she got up, but Kuro stopped her. "Let him go... he just needs to sort out things right now... he usually gets like this once in a while. Remember?" asked Kuro as Karin nodded. Tenshi stopped at the door, "Karen, if you don't have any questions left I can take you back right now," said Tenshi without looking back towards them, "but if you still do, have Kuro take you." He stood there looking out to the city as he opened the door. |
| Orange: Thank you Tenshi. Yeah, I guess I should be getting back now... My friends are probably wondering where I am... Blue was opened the door to his own apartment while still kissing Sarah. The two stumbled into the room. Sarah: Nice place, where's the bedroom? Blue: Right... here. He threw open the door as he threw off his shirt. He turned around and Sarah pulled him close and started kissing his neck. Blue felt two fangs pierce his throat and blood quickly leave his body. Blue: AAARRHH!!! Sarah held his arms down. He started to give up when a ball of water enveloped the two. Sarah pulled back, completely confused. She dropped Blue. The sphere completely surrounded them. It started to form ice spears that shot into the middle, impaling Sarah from all sides. She screamed, but soon faded to dust. Blue was sprawled on the floor as the water fell back into his bracelet. The waves continued to faintly glow. |
