| I liked this episode, it's indeed very mundane but it was nice. I do appreciate how Akane isn't shy and timid all around, and it's much clearer in this episode. She's a believable and relatable introvert, one who is shy with people she doesn't know, but talkative and joking with people she's comfortable with. I also respect her, how even though she was embarrassed for dropping the baton, it didn't get to her in the end, because she still loves running. It's great that one line and interaction with Akane inspired Kotarou to do the same with his hobby. |

| Wow this just made me "kyaaa" on the inside.. So innocent, so cute, so carefree.. truly brought u back to those age. The OST on the background was beautifully arranged and really fit the scenes and those short stories after credit was just hhhnnngggg.. can't believe there are people who found this boring/unrealistic yet at the same time probably praise the typical shoujo anime |

| This is really looking to be one of the better shows this season. Was unsure after the first episode thinking it was going to be a very slow series, but this episode has changed my mind completely. I loved how human everyone feels! Loved the ending where they are messaging each other. So cute! |

| ahh, this was a nice episode, very innocent and cute. liked it more than the first episode too, it helped that they stopped mentioning LINE every 5 minutes or so lol. |

| Drawings, CG and animation, are perfectible, but the narrative is a sweet poem, well accompanied by the soundtrack. So far this anime, I'm liking a lot and the slow pace of the narrative fits well with the plot. |

| The show itself does well to portray youth and adolescence. Love the subtleties they put into each character in regards to that slow-building relationship with someone whom you aren't really acquainted with, but yet have an interest in. Also love the fact that they show Kotarou and Akane having an interest in something other than each other. His passion for writing stories and hers for running make them that much more fleshed out. Their interactions with the supporting cast are also very realistic. Those 4 shorts in the end, whilst a bit toon-y, helped flesh out the side characters quite well, and were funny at the same time. Roman and Sensei was particularly funny, given how it now seems that Sensei is more interested in Roman than he actually is in her. |

| Really loving this show. Don't even know why, but the voice acting makes me happy. I am really a sucker for high school shows. Akane and Curly aren't the two only mcs anyway. They will explore the other two in the next episodes. Wonder how the relationships are going to develop. |

| Certainly one of the better shows of the season. It's a nice coming-of-age love story. Scenes like Kotarou being all excited while texting Akane adds a lot of charm to the show. Sensei's pretty funny, btw. I like the shorts at the end. |

| Totally cute. I love the narration, simplicity (and simultaneously reality) of the story and subtle soundtrack. I can turn a blind eye on whole wooden animation part, but it was much better than last episode anyway. |

| Great episode! So cute that he found the potato doll for her. I love the inclusion of text messages to progress the romance -- it's really how people flirt these days. The show just feels like an actual SOL even more than the other SOLs out right now. Memories of my school days :) |

| Nearly dropped this after the first slow episode but decided to gave it another chance and I'm glad I did. Akane's personality really showed a ton better in this second episode and made her more relate-able because of it. Also I'm totally cheering for Koutaro, he's adorable and I hope he'll keep on writing :D (And those scenes after the ending.. lmao indeed xD) |

| this is the only non-sequel i really enjoy this season, its so pure and adorable, and does a great job of capturing what its like to have an awkward first love. really like it! |
| I could tell that Curly-kun wasn't the athletic type, but that really was so uncool xD Akane too had her share of failure in the main event, I think it was cute of Curly-kun to hand her over her Potato mascot. Also, the aftershow segment was cute too, I ship Roman and Ryouko-sensei! |
| Happy they went with the sport festival instead of the cultural one. I find it more interesting and less overused in this type of anime. Anyway, together with the smooth progress of MC's romance, looks like a certain sensei has started heading towards a dangerous path~ |
