Seeing that Rai and Mary were ordering food already,he’d do likewise. He’d just order some bread and water for now (8 tokens),might not be the best but it would probably cost a bit less. After giving his order to the counter lady,he’d await the food. After it arrived he’d eat it,seeing as Rai seemed eager to leave. After he was done,he'd follow Rai. ((NPC post)) The meal would cost Maryjane 12 tokens,and it it would cost Rai 12 as well,and that is what the counter lady would tell them. She would ask for the tokens before making the food. If they payed,she would have brought the food to them as soon as possible. (6 tokens for the burger,4 for the french fries,2 for the water) ((Since you already have the food,I’ll assume that you payed for it. Just an IC way to mention the prices)) |

Once she saw the word "Fish", she had made her decision. Once they got to her turn, Kitty would look up at the person taking her order, "Can I have steamed fish? A medium plate please. No seasoning.", and would then wait. If she didn't have to wait there, she'd go to sit at a table and wait. |
Lafter Keldeo  After finishing her food, she looks around for people to join up with. She was still incredibly shy so she didn't know how to approach people She then saw a woman ordering from the chef. She looks at her hands that were on her lap, clamped together. She gathered up her courage and walked over to the man. She stood up from her seat and walked over to the woman who was about to pay for his food. Standing behind her, she reached out to tap his shoulder for her attention, but then she began to think this might've been too awkward. Her hand was left there, mid action. Either she walked away or tapped her on the shoulder. She didn't know what to decide on. She began to feel conflicted since she was trying to be as confident as she can be with a very shy personality. @Your_Boi |

Kitty, who had done a few jobs already, had no trouble paying for it. So she did. 6 tokens, it was. Pretty cheap, but its better than too expensive. [-6 Tokens ] When she wanted to turn around to look around the cafeteria as she waited on her food, she was slightly surprised to find someone behind her, hand stretched. It seemed like she was kind of frozen, or just tried to contemplate something. But she wasn't really moving all too much. "Can I help you?". |
Lafter Keldeo Surprised that the woman had turned around and asked if she could help her, she would look surprised, her hand recoiled and blushing a little bit from how awkward she looked. She contains her composure and bows in an apologetic way. She then stands back up and tries to communicate to her without revealing her voice. She had hoped that the woman understood sign language or she'd just look like a fool for doing it. She moves her hands in a way to ask if the woman could speak sign language or at least understand it. If she understood, she'd politely ask if they want to team up, despite how hasty that might've been. If not, she would blush for having to do sign language all for nothing, but embarrassing herself. She would then proceed to speak in a quiet voice. "Uhm... my name is... Lafter... Lafter Keldeo... Would you like.... to team up with.... me?" she would say shyly. She couldn't help, but feel impatient about getting a team member, after all she is useless alone. She had hoped to at least be of use to the woman or the woman would at least accept her offer. If not, she was going to have to find someone else and it was already hard to even try greeting the woman. |

The girl recoiled and blushed, but then bows in an apologetic way. Facing back up again, she started doing some sign language. Of course, Kitty could read it. But she's never done it in real time. "Would...you..like..to..team..up..with..me...". "A mute, huh?", Kitty would first comment on her way of communicating and then nod, "I don't mind. What are your occupations in the vault?" As she asked that, she could smell her steamed fish being ready. Turning around again, she took the plate that was handed to her and started walking to a nearby table after she told the girl to come with her. |
Lafter Keldeo Lafter smiles as the woman had accepted her as a partner. She replies to the woman moving her hands to communicate to her that she just arrived at the vault. However, she did specialize in being a medic and added that as well. She follows the woman to the table she would sit down on. She sits on the opposite side of the table as she looks down at her lap with her hands clamped. She looks up at the woman at times and looks back down at her lap for awhile until she had asked her another question. |

Kitty looked surprised, but she had to focus on reading her hand movements first. The girl specializes as a medic, which would be a good ally to have outside of the vault. Following Kitty to the table, she sat down on the opposite side of the table. The girl waited on something and Kitty took this liberty to ask her question. "You said you just arrived at the vault right? Does that mean you have seen the outside world? How is it out there? The vault still lets people in? Does that mean we can get out as well?". |
Lafter Keldeo She looks up at the woman who just asked her a series of questions. She begins to answer them, but she did have a sad expression since she did see the horrors of the outside. She was just lucky the vault was able to let her in. She wasn't sure if they could go out so she suggests that they'd ask the officials about it to see if they could. Afterall, a camp like this wouldn't go on forever, they were going to have to scavenge if they wanted the camp to last for a long time. After that, she begins to tell the woman what was in the outside world and even some glimpses of how she managed to survive it with the monsters that had walked through the abandoned, destroyed streets of the world outside. |

Maybe she'll get another chance somewhere. But the girl did answer the questions she had asked. Kitty suddenly realized she hadn't introduced herself yet, "Ah, my bad. My name is Kitty McGrumpy. A trainee at the research facility.". As she was half eating her meal, she was also half conversating with the girl. |
Lafter Keldeo Lafter looks up, paying attention to what the woman had to say as she introduced herself. Kitty McGrumpy, a silly sounding name that the woman had, but she wasn't one to judge since Keldeo as a last name just sounded weird. She motions her hands to get her a writing utensil and some paper so she could write her name. She didn't know how she was going to tell Kitty her name when her name was confusing to motion. If a paper and pencil was given to her, she would write down her name in pretty handwriting and passes it back to Kitty for her to read. If not, she'd motion that Kitty was going to have to wait awhile before hearing about Lafter's name. |

She could get some scrap paper and a pen that she had with her for research and taking notes from books, giving them to the girl. After the girl wrote down her name, she then gave it to Kitty. Kitty read the papers. Her name was Lafter Keldeo, with pretty handwriting, it was written on the paper. Kitty finished the last of her meal and stood up, "Nice to meet you, Lafter Keldeo. Are you ready for some jobs?". |
Lafter Keldeo Lafter nods slowly since she was scared of what might happen to her outside. Before hand, she links her soul to Kitty and initiates Soul Aid, even though they aren't in any real danger. She is just worried of what might happen. She holds her hands close together as she would look down, worried of what might happen. She was ready to do some jobs, but she knows that some of them have to do with going out to the wasteland and scavenging for food and resources. |
