| To be honest im really not into this magical girl stuff. The only noteworthy show i've seen is illya, and even that i have watched only because "Fate". This kinda felt like Gakkou Gurashi ep1, by showing something like that at the begining, then going all fluffy on us. Certainly going to follow this this. But there was something i found hilarious. |
| How can so much people say this is light hearted when the first thing we saw is a bunch of bloody corpses and an unknown beast attacking? I mean, it's just the first episode! What do you expect on a first episode? A bomb exploding at the center of the town and killing everyone? About Souta... it was too obvious he would be a magical girl, but I'm surprised they revealed it so early, I expected they would tease us with it for longer... What? People didn't expect it? Really? Ever since I read the synopsis I was thinking "Surely a boy that plays the game ends up transforming into a girl" And we saw Souta at the flashback it was a "It's him, for sure" |
| The fact Koyuki's unique power has absolutely no use in combat makes me fear she will just end up hiding behind Souta's back for the entire show. Like the disastrous battle royale shows Akuma no Riddle and Mirai Nikki. |
| Interesting start so far. I like the art/animation if nothing else. OP and ED ain't half bad either. I'll give this show the three episode rule, but if I learned anything from Madoka Magica, then I know exactly where this show is going. |

| an typical first maho schojoo episode every think so cute and cool until the disaster hit and I hope it will, like one of my top favorite anime "Madoka magika " . the first dark part and the ending gave a hint about that.. |

| I loved this! It was just so warm and fluffy and with the start of the episode looking like this show's going to get really messed up makes me super excited to see how it gets there. I'm fine if it stays like it is now or goes down the dark and deadly path but please don't pretend to kill characters off and have them magically revive, that would be the worst thing that could happen. |

| I like the twist with Souta lol. The set up, pacing, and idea are quite good. I was worried about the amount of characters, but I like their outfits. I can't wait for things to get dark. <3 Survival game lololololol. Blending of genres. I like. |
| KAWAII!!! There, finally! fuck i needed that out of my system... First the short scene, Death!! Blood! more death! Everywhere! and got me where curious on what the hell im watching( kinda funny as well tbh xD ) little story and background with Koyuki, Man shes cute tho, and all the character as there in-game avatar, Specially Nemu ,,ooooooo >.< me wanna hug ya!! i sense Trap Warning!!.. boy become a mahou shoujo, i dont know how to feel about his. | That ED game was too strong for words. I liked the set up, definitely reminded me of the gradual pacing that we got with Madoka Magica but man, after the first 10 seconds of this...I'm already preparing myself for the darkness to come. Also, that reveal with La Pucelle, I lost it XD |

| I'm not into magical girl genre, with couple of exceptions, but the first ep was quite fun to watch. I wonder whether the whole cutting back on the staff thing will turn into a witch hunt. |

| I don't think I'll ever really get used to the overly cutesy art style (some of which looked really weird in some shots), but the character design is really nice in terms of outfits and colours. Top speed is already my favourite since she tickled my halloween-aesthetic, but she's probably going to die so hopefully my heart won't get too attached. I hope it gets into the killing-spree quickly, but at the same time I hope it manages to flesh out the characters enough so their deaths actually have feeling to them, and not just be a brutal bloodbath. |

I don't feel that the possible pre-conflict relationships have been explored enough yet for me to care when they start killing each other, and introducing the idea might make them think "we'll have to kill each other, so it's best not to get close". |

Perhaps it'll change with her mental state though, getting darker (and more interesting) as she falls into despair upon her illusion of what a magical girl should be being shattered... |
| Character design seems nice except Snow White(Koyuki) which is a bit of simple compared to the other mahou shoujo but let's see this seems promising although everyone thought that this is a ripoff of some famous mahou shoujo show with those despair, gore and stuff. Oh well might watch this 'til the end. I really like the ED I feel like it fits perfectly on the show and one thing's for sure, if they kill Sou-chan then fuck this I'm out |

| Hmm. Slow start but I guess I wanted to watch more. The intro and the ending scenes can be interpreted in two ways, either the girls were defeated by monsters spawned by the game (including the reduction in the number of girls) or it's a vs. battle between the girls before battling the monster. |

| OP and ED are godlike had just read people saying don't expect thriller within the first few seconds is nothing but death...well this is what this show is lol not even really a fan of mahou shoujo's but it seems all the ones that i've seen are not the typical ones. |

| Cool opening scene, but it was kind of bland after that. The style seems to be trying too hard to be extra cute for more shock value when shit eventually goes down. Looking forward to the darker tones though. |

| That first frame was a warning of what you are gonna get of this series (unless you have read the novel, of course. So it's up to you if continuing or get the hell out of here. How nice of them. Haven't read the novel, so any opinions I have will be anime only. So good so far. They gave us a bit of info about everything, from characters to scenario. Not really into the OP and ED, but I guess in the case of the ED is because I haven't read the novel. Ah, but this time I'm gonna also check the production staff. Hmm...the director seems decent enough, but the one in charge of the script....welp, gonna see how it works out. Sakori said: The sleepy girl is mine, you lot can have the rest. | Not only did Souta end up being a magical girl with large breasts, but she's also the cutest in the group. I don't care that she's a boy. Still my waifu. please don't steal. That was a cool twist, and little things like that are enough to build interest in a series. I thought this was a decent episode. I'm a sucker for magical girl anime with darker undertones, too. |

| It's obvious that this show will pull a Madoka sooner rather than later. Just whether it succeeds is a different story. The main difference was that Madoka was exploring incredibly deep themes right from the beginning, while this show seems to have a distinct lack of any. I don't see any references to 17th century classical literature anyway. Also, traps and decent English. I approve. |

| The first minute or so caught my attention. A magical girl standing with dead or almost dead girls around her with an evil smile on her face and then killing a big monster or whatever shows that even though this episode was predominantly lighthearted, it'll get pretty dark soon. Koyuki is a mahou shoujo fan and her dream comes true when she becomes a magical girl thanks to kyuubei's distant cousin. And she quickly gets the hang of things. All magical girls will stay with their identities hidden. People will only have vague memories of them and all pictures of them would be blurred with them being censored or something. So Koyuki, or Snow White, goes all out with helping people, even more since her power is to hear the voices of those in trouble. I liked that magical girl chatroom. That was pretty cool. And La Puce takes over training her who turns out to be a god damn guy! Wtf! I thought that Sou would only be there to show that even hardcore magical girl fans have lost interest except for a few like Koyuki. But it turns out that Fav liked the idea of having a guy become a mahou shoujo. Lol at where Koyuki was looking when La Puce said that she's probably completely a female. And the ending was interesting. Fav got all these girls to become mahou shoujos and now he's cutting them down to eight which means that the rest would have to stop being mahou shoujos. I kinda expected them to take some time in introducing this setting but whatever. It's going to get interesting. But depending on what fate awaits the other magical girls this can fail pretty easily. If they're killing off characters then they've got 15 girls in need of some character development of whatever level otherwise it wouldn't feel right, unless the main purpose is to show what Koyuki goes through as the generic mahou shoujo thrown into a world of despair. But even then the other mahou shoujos need to become something more than just background characters with zero everything. This was a pretty interesting episode. It was lighthearted overall in stark contrast to the first minute. I'm waiting for the time when the show gets dark with the despair kicking in. Should become cooler then. But for now I think they're going to take things a bit slowly with everyone taking this decision by Fav lightly before going serious when the situation gets desperate. |
| I'm getting vibes from Madoka Magica....but I can't quite put my finger on why. Kidding, it has magical girls and Fav, who I'm willing to bet will be the next Kyuubey. Fav definitely fits the bill on being like Kyuubey. Adorable looking, happy tones and how nonchalant he was when he announced that the amount of magical girls will be cut in half. I'm pretty sure this will be a killing game considering the first minute of the episode was a blood bath and there is too many characters on this show to be given a story or kept alive. Saori Hayami! I had no idea she was in this until I heard her! As for Fav, holy shit...shut up please. Anyways, though there are a lot of similarities between Madoka Magica and Magical Girl Raising Project, I'm still excited enough to see where this goes and I will stop comparing the two series. Finally, Nano is the ED song, you can never go wrong with Nano! 3/5 Very light hearted episode. I hope shit properly hits the fan soon after viewing the beginning of the episode and hopefully we don't have to wait long. Also La Pucelle is Sou?! Damn...Fav is definitely evil if he made a guy lose his dick and gave him boobs. |
