| Good chapter. Like others, there is no way Sanji & the others are dead. I suspect Brooke is at fault here. I love the designs of Wanda & Carrot. It is interesting that they use electricity in their attacks. Like some, I was expecting the villain of this arc to be "the alleged son of Whitebeard", but am excited that it is potentially Jack, ( which a battle & victory over him could draw out Kaido in the potential Wano arc). It was funny to see Wanda lick Luffy. Also props on the guardians. Lastly, it was awesome to see Bepo & the other Heart pirates after such a long time. I appreciate the slow build up in this arc & can not wait to see what happens next. |

| Has anyone noticed that ever since the time-skip started, GODA has been subtly foreshadowing the structural coordination by which Luffy overtakes an Emperor? Heart: Corazon Spade: Pica Club: Trebol Diamond: Diamante (Corazon, Pica, Trebol, and Diamante are Spanish for Heart, Spade, Club, & Diamond. These are code names.) Joker: Doflamingo Jack: Jack Queen: Big Mom King: Kaido This fits in with the whole Mafia leitmotif of the New World, ever since Punk Hazard; what with Poker being a popular game with the underground brokers and all. In terms of the game-changer card, Sabo is the one who inherited Ace's will. He was another obstacle Luffy had to deal with; luckily for him, Sabo was on his side. Much like how Law likely named his pirates the Heart Pirates because he was in line to take the Heart seat under Doflamingo and in remembrance of his mentor, who was the previous Heart (Corazon). |

| Plot Twist: They actually did die. I'm interested to see how Oda plays that one out. I think that's the first time Luffy's had to explain someone's nickname properly. xD |

I don't know that I would say there's a Mafia theme for the New World as a whole, either... more just in the Dressrosa arc. |
