Seems like his interest in cooking was actually piqued too :O Aww, Umaru totally thought her brother forgot her birthday ... except nope! I can't believe she rushed home just to catch him setting up XD That's super cute of him though! Man he is SO awesome :3 Looks like we might focus a bit more on him next episode too? :O I hope so! |

| another crazy episode! I would be also pissed even then not doing work...but with all those consistent "ONIICHAN" blabbing of Umaru...who would not get disturbed by that constant oniichan nagging haha! Umaru thought oniichan forgot her bday cuz almost all of her friends even with Ebina, Kirie, and Sylph remembered her bday but after goin' home she was wrong. Its dumb even if your sibling forgets your bday... And oh...blowing that game cartridge of the NES is a standard fix!. 5/5. |

| I felt something really strange about this episode, that is, until it reached the part of her birthday. My birthday is Umari's birthday, the 26th of September, how frighteningly awesome. |

| -That episode had more sweet and adorable moments than I expected. Umaru was still her annoying self, however it was made quite evident that she really does love her brother very much and values him on a personal level, rather than just merely being someone to cater to her whims. Her selfish behavior might be partially driven by a desire to receive attention from her brother, and implies that their familial situation might have lacked in many areas for her. -It's amusing for me to resume this show from a hiatus due to work-related reasons to see Taihei wondering what he should do with his free time after being so busy with work and other obligations. -Blowing on the cartridge. Those were the days. -Taihei x Ebina. -Curious as to what Kirie's background story is, as her personal baggage started to surface until she bumped the NES and turned it off, a misfortune which also fitted with her situation in the game of life they were playing, and perhaps her real life as well. |

| Umaru's birthday was fun, and to think that Taihai was about to surprise her but ended up being surprised. It's funny to see Taihei research on the kitchen because he did well in the game. Kirie always amuses me and makes me laugh. I don't know how he does it, but at first I didn't like him that much and now he's fucking fun. Umaru's birthday is September 26 ;) |
