Lol it’s nice seeing people actually miss mc personality. I loved it from the beginning. Maybe it’s because I’ve had so many “Furuya” friends in real life that I know what I want out of a friend or someone to inspire me and it’s the people who act like Eijun. He’s the positivity I look for in life and I don’t see how it could ever be a negative. He’s amazing and I’m still rooting for him. At the end of the day if he’s not hurt with Furuya getting ace then I won’t be either. I just want his dreams to come true.

God I’m posting a lot but also it feels so much different from the beginning of the season I’m sadddd. I remember Miyuki calling out sawamura for being late, sawamura skipping games to run, Eijun outplaying Azuma aka piggy, the first year vs third year game, sawamura being lively and everyone saying he has ace personality. Like it’s so nostalgic knowing I won’t be seeing my pink haired third year and his combo karate chop and kick with the second year and Sawamuras. Or see the masoko mad about his pudding. Their rooms even seem dull and boring. I’m just really heartbroken at the tones of the anime rn. Makes me think about what’s gonna happen when haikyuu third years leave. Then again I don’t know if it’s worse for Sawamuras and then because they lived, ate, and slept together. Or if it’ll be worse for karasuno because the team was smaller so we see everyone and their growth more personal

Back again. Maybe this episode just annoys me idk why. Lmaoo but when sawamura is getting told to play outfield it made me realize. Furuya does not care about him. Like he’s bummed out and all Furuya can do is eavesdrop on pinky advice to Eijun about pitching. Like dude really? I get they can’t worry about him but rn this is personal not about baseball. If they want to keep it separate you’d think he’d at least visit him. I’m not saying he has to but it’s showing he never supported him as much as Sawamuras did him. Eijun cheers him on and treats him like a friend while fur ya just declares war on him or ignores. Like example is him being cold hearted when sawmira had to get off mound during the last game. He just says “only enough room for one pitcher” like dude did you really think that was the right time to say that? When the situation happened a bunch of episodes ago to Furuya what did sawamura tell him???? “I’ll avenge you” “you did good” like literally two different energies. I can surely say that I won’t be mad if Sawamuras ever said “I have your back but I don’t think you’d do the same” like Furuya has never been put in Sawamuras shoes. Like when has he ever batted last??? When the pressure of the game is high. He always pitched first or not at all. Because “he need to gain his energy” my name is Furuya and I’m a fragile princess who gets time off while my relief pitchers carry my wrongs or weaknesses. Lord these episodes need to hurry up and get him off his throne

Assistant coach is a joke, he is the main reason why Kataoka should stay as coach as he truly cares for each player and sees baseball as teamsport. Praise Chris at the end for coming in at the right time.

And of course, the new coach doesn’t like Eijun. He will definitely not use him at all.

The new coach is so obnoxious. The game is played by a whole team, not a single player. If you can’t believe in your other players, then what the hell are you doing here.

That new assistant coach got the most punchable face. Did this guy not watch any Seidou games this season? If he did, he would've known how good Sawamura is.

I had high expectations of him when he was introduced, because I thought he would be able to provide a solution to the team now that the seniors are gone, but he just seemed like any other regular public school coach. His solution was building the team around Furuya lol, like noone would be able to come up with that idea.
