| Old anime hits so different. I miss the cinematography. This anime is so depressed too, not like the happy hyper anime of today. Great ep. So much better than the new one. |

| Quite a strange start, a beam of light crushing through the school, taking out the city's power with a violent scream. Still not sure much about what exactly happened, but they say someone got killed by Boogiepop. Then we get to know our mc, who hates herself, which is a bit sad. Her friend is quite good by telling her to come along and hang out, I wish our mc tried to give out more energy for her. Oh, and this "bug" in her heart, that caused an impersonation of her middle school crush to almost kill her, but Boogiepop saved her. I'm guessing she will seek out for him next episode. Speaking of which, this episode has unique sound effects. How it gets really suspenseful then cuts to dead silence and how words get distorted. I somehow like that approach. |
