A lot of world line jumps and subtle allusions now start going on to keep the viewer engaged and on edge here, at least certainly me.
Overall slowly more and more stuff is happening (really a "slow" burn), and I personally really liked the transgender confession here a lot and how nicely they handled it (for the time I guess). So Rukako wants to be a girl and there is more and more world line jumping, the "Reading Steiner" ability (the ridiculous name is not too bad actually for maintaining the goofy/serious contrast the show is based on) activated and this time I noticed there was clearly a number displayed with the microwave display digits, it was 0.4smthsmth. I remember the digits being in visual focus a lot before, maybe I missed other such occassions? But it felt very intentional and like it has something to do with that world line divergence. Oh and I really want that poor gal to have been born female too now..

@SciADV_Maniac They literally said "I always wanted to be a girl", which is how I would define being trans, being trans myself. I guess it's just a word issue and we mean the same thing anyway
| @Phinyxia The anime unfortunately omitted the context of this almost entirely. Luka is gay and is in love with Okabe. Since Okabe is hetero, there is no way for Okabe to love him. That's the real reason he wants to be a girl, and not because he is uncomfortable in his body, or that he identifies himself as a female. Notice that he always uses masculine pronouns to refer to himself. The anime also omitted that he has a near pedophile father, who basically asks him to wear feminine clothes, because he has a sister who is more boyish than girlish. |

| Even though we never got to know Moeka that well, it's still kinda freaky how everyone's memories of her got completely wiped just like that. Just imagining Okabe in a Tuturu-free is depressing. Wonder how many mothers who heard of the rumor Ruka mentioned ate a ton of meat or vegetables only to get a child of the opposite gender |
| 4/5 deserves hell of an episode IF WE EXCLUDE THESE CRINGE MOMENTS BRO WTF WAS THAT I WAS STRUGGLING WITH MYSELF DURING THE WHOLE EPISODE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH (thx for Usher, Kesha, Pitbull, KSI and Animals). Actually idk why but the way when the world line changes and he arrives in the way "other world" it looks very immersive and for a moment i even forgetting about the real world fr tho. I even forgot about our first og crew when they all were together, then Luka brought a watermelon THEN only he did not ant rn he seems to be HER not HIM. Every time no matter what the wish is, the MC suffers, i guess his sane is slightly decreasing throughout the journey, crossing fingers for him, dammit, catchy tho. But the way when Luka dressed as a girl and his wish hell naaw😭😭😩😩💀💀🙏🙏 |
