| I approached this series with caution, but I was pleasantly surprised. Gothic aesthetic often appeals to me, but the point where I was sold was when Victorique had the child-like wonder on her face as if she had never been outside. Kujo is a pretty standard character, but when he's annoyed he's kinda funny. |
| ROZEN MAIDEN!!!! Shinku watches Detective Kun-kun and Ironically Victorique is detective with similar appearance as Shinku. The first case was quite easy. 3.5/5 |

| That's a really cool spot Victorique always hangs out at. I'd love to go to the top of that library lol. So yeah, interesting episode. The story is definitely what sells it for me. |

| -the full versions of the OP and ED1 are so good so i decided to watch this -nice french subtitles -this uh, seems more standard than i expected -oh shit goss rori is voiced by aoi yuuki -alright victorica is pretty cute -hey it's pompadour dude from the OP -alright this is more like the type of stuff i was expecting -rip grevil -wait did they foreshadow everything in the first part of this episode -grevil's great -i fucking love this ED I certainly didn't expect this show to have such a weak start. In fact, this felt less like an episode and more like a glorified character/setting introduction. Nothing in particular stood out about the murder in and of itself, and that's probably why it seemed to me like a throwaway ep. Nothing of importance happened, but at least Victorique and Grevil seem like pretty entertaining characters so far. Actual content of the episode aside, holy shit every time I hear the "loneliness" it's instant goosebumps. Resuscitated Hope really should have been the ED for both cours of this show. |

| Good first episode. ED of this episode is nice. Also that deduction is on point. Better than Sherlock anyways. That library reminds me of Hogwarts and Avatar: The last air bender library. Good art. I like this loli. |

| LOL I forgot half of what happen in this episode the moment I got at the end of this discussion. My mind was completely floating around while watching. Thankfully that murder of the fortune teller got me a little bit interested. I hope they will have better ones on the next episodes. And the girl MC is weird with her actions but thankfully she doesn’t have an irritating voice. |
| What an absurd premise & setup for how the MC and loli meet. First day of school and the teacher is freaking out telling you to research ghost stories? Wtf is that? Kujo sees a golden strand and just fucking sprints like a mad man up the stairs towards something that he thinks is shining gold? Pretty nonsense writing. |
| That first scene almost gave me a heart attack, was not expecting the loud bark, lol. Great start, I like Victorique a lot already. Also that blonde guy is funny, though I don't get this whole Reaper part. Is it really relevant to the plot or a small joke? Victorique's line at the end made me think it's more serious than it sounds. About that ending, it was so good. Loved how the ending song started right there. |

| This was not a good first episode lol I felt bored throughout most of the episode, and just didn't like the characters. It's just the first episode though so I will watch a bit more before deciding to drop this or not, but I'm not too interested so far. |

| Huh, that was not what I had expected. The characters act very strangely — the detective with the ridiculous hair of course and Victorique, but Kazuya, the teacher, even the other students are bizarre. And this being a mystery show...really did not impress with that first one. I honestly thought the detective was going to say they had arrested the maid, and Victorique would do the whole genius detective "Tak, tsk, tsk, you brutes in the police are always jumping to the easiest conclusions, there is clearly evidence you have overlooked!" But...no. The maid shot through a door lock, the victim had a bullet hole in her eye, which was positioned at the same height and in-line with the door, so...no doy‽ Plus, finding a letter on the yacht, the detective being given a yacht in the first place, it all felt very contrived. They could have found the letter at the crime scene and revealed it to Victorique for more clues, prompting her curiosity to force her to go out and investigate. That way, we'd still get the train ride and out-on-the-town scene, and it would feel more reasonable. But the whole yacht scenario just felt convoluted and silly. I'm glad I checked this one out, been on my Watch Later list for a while — don't think this one's for me. |

| Starting this because I found this show through my searching of a mystery historical drama show and the fmc named Victorique got me here. So far, this is really good! I'm guessing this is going to be a detective type of show and I absolutely loved it ever since something like Monster. Gotta note my favorite moment when Kazuya was scavenging Victorique belongings, and she went all pouting was cute and funny. Also, loved the op and ed! op is fun to listen to and same goes for the ed. Looking forward to the rest I will be! |
