I don't really read manga.
But just finished Necromancer .
It is like a chain of one shots at the front chapters, and only in the last few chapters they link the story up and it is pretty nice to read for a short manga imo :)
I will give it a score of 7-8 out of 10. ;o

(score from a beginner manga reader :x)

OK, here's my "review" for Mayo Chiki:
Hehehe. :P
I really liked this harem manga. Mostly just because of the fact that it was all neatly packed up in 7 volumes and everything was handled smoothly. Volumes 2 till 4 will read like filler but it's prolly some of the best filler I've ever read. And there's actual character development with most of the characters. Yippee! I gave it an 8/10.

Reading Nisekoi at the moment. School friend had suggested the anime but I went for the manga instead. Fucking love it! Best girl is Onodera. <3

Tsugumi's on #2 for me with Chitoge behind her.
Still can't accept Mari though...

Title: Claymore
Chapters: 159
Info link: http://myanimelist.net/manga/583/Claymore

Fuck, this manga's awesome. Cool girls, cool fights, cool plot - everything. ^^ Loved storming through it. XD Anime was too short to describe the epicness of the title itself.

Art was average, body of female characters were kinda.. well, not really I'd do them. Too slim, yet carrying all that armor on themselves. Some kind of contrast, I dunno. Still awesome. ^^

Story was amazing. So many plot twists and much better than in its anime adaptation. Really, awesome. Totally recommended.

Score:
15/10. XD

Title: Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai
Chapters: 271 :O
Info link: http://myanimelist.net/manga/7519/Kami_nomi_zo_Shiru_Sekai

Another good manga that I really liked. Plot's about a guy that captures runaway spirits by filling the gaps in gril's hearts. Yeah.. makes no sense. :D Read the plot synopsis on the manga's page.

Art was awesome. ^^ Elsie was superb cute. Nothing much to say here. No complains at all. ^^

Story itself was amazing. Loved the flow, small bits of romcom from time to time, the way characters behave and such. Consists of 3 arcs, of which first 2 are made into anime. Made me think why this manga wasn't done by Shaft. TvT It would be epic. :D Still have to see anime, though, but as far as I could see from AMV and stuff, it's good. ^^

Can't say much since I'll spoil everything. :P Totally recommended. :)

Score: 15/10. XD[/quote]

Title: Koimoku
Chapters: 20 (Thank God...)
Info link: http://myanimelist.net/manga/24275/Koimoku

This one tells about hardships of becoming mangaka, about ways that mangaka work on their manga stuff (probably :P). Main guy's totally lost in the beginning and despite having a good talent for manga stuff, he always mess something up. One day, he met a certain person who became his supervisor and after that many things went downside.

In the end, it wasn't really bad, but surely it was a long read.. Felt like ages for me.

Art was cool, but characters kinda same. Since I took my sweet time reading it, I came to forget how some characters looked like, and thus got confused at some parts. Still, really nice. ^^

Characters were cool. Main guy's lost cause, but with everyone around him he becomes better at his stuff, more confident, has better resolve to do stuff, etc.

Anyway, it has 40 pages per chapter (or something like that) making it kinda 40-chapterish of usual manga. Story was... fast developing, I guess. Most of the time, MC gets to meet a new person, to help him on his way, making the plot really boring on that talking part, cos MC's always looking down on himself - that or someone else is doing it, really badly. :|

Score: 7/10
Could have been much better. Ecchiness in it was good. ^^ Enough of slight fanservice. ^^

Finished Koe no Katachi (The Shape of Voice - A Silent Voice) tonight.

When I found this little gem back a couple of months on FJ, I knew I was in for a wild ride. I knew it was an amazing manga but, I really hate waiting for chapters and so, since it felt like it would have a short lifespan, I decided to wait till it was finished. That was a good decision.

The story. Ah! The story. It's like a roller-coaster ride from beginning to end with a few fillers in between to serve as breather-breaks and to provide a time for the reader to reassure himself. It's beautifully crafted and smartly played out. The mangaka really knew his shit and he went full-burst with it. Kudos!
I can't tell you much about the story as that will take away the fun (and the dread) of reading it yourself. If I even tell you the basic plot, I'm telling you what happens up till the 6th or 7th chapter. This gives you an idea of the manga's pacing and that too is a weird feat considering that there's like only 63 or 64 chapters.
Shouko is a deaf girl who gets picked on by Shouya purely out of boredom and curiosity in elementary school. One time Shouya goes too far and he is singled out by his class for being the main bully of Shouko's. And that's when Shouya's life spiral down into a loathsome hole like that of Gollum's but without his 'precious'. That's all I can tell you for now.
The characters are great and they're all almost perfect drivers. "Drivers?" you ask. What I mean by that is that the mangaka expertly uses all the side-characters to push forward the story of the 2 MCs that are Shouya and Shouka. That's what I call being a clever c*** (an admin should not excessively swear :P).
The art is simple most of the time and beautiful when it needs to be. The expressions of the characters and especially that of Shouya's are golden. Sometimes, the hand gestures can get confusing but, most of the time, the message is sent across.

This is definitely recommended. Read this manga if you haven't. It'll mess your feels up and make you happy again and then beat the shitty pulp outta your feels again before presenting you with its finale.
I give this gem a 9/10. I give that score because I think the author could have done a bit more with the ending and I wanted to see that romance angle developed a bit more (I'm selfish). Also, the dynamic between Shouya and 2 of his old friends: I really need to know what happens between them near the end (that would somehow make the words of the ending itself redundant, though).

Gonna read Mx0 now.

At first I thought it wasn't a time skip but something going through Shouya's mind. Then I re-read it and realized that there was timeskip (of sorts) to the final chapter.

THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO READ KnK, DO NOT READ DOWN BELOW!

It's implied that they will most probably end up together after they're done with college. I mean, Nishimiya wants to be a hairdresser and Ishida just decides outta the blue that he wants to take over his mom's salon. And everybody who find out about Ishida's decision are all like, "Well shit, muh nigha. Ya really want that bootay!"
I guess I'll find my solace to their love based on that. :P

Finished Mx0 this very moment and I'm very sad to see it go.
I mean, Jesus, it was a pretty great Shonen manga. Art wasn't anything fancy-schmancy but if you read it, you'd easily know that the mangaka had the knack for some well juked-out story-telling (he is the mangaka of Pretty Face).

The premise is pretty nice, I tell ya. Taiga Kuzumi can't is the only student in Seinagi High that can't do magic. He gets into deep shit and the students think he's some badass monster. School's law dictates that his memory should be erased along with the teacher who fucked up with him but the it decides to let it slide and that's where the magical adventure begins. A LOT of things happen along the way so this is just the basic(est) plot.

The characterization is pretty fantastic. So's the development. You could feel them changing throughout the course of the manga (I did).

Also, for a shonen manga, this has been a quite different ride. Since there's magic, you'd expect grand-ass battles but most of them are little strategic scuffles with a lot of bluffing coming in by the MC Taiga. The guy can't use magic so he's gotta SOMETHING to win and not be found that he's actually powerless. It feels like you're reading a kawaii-fied version of Harry Potter.

Really sad to see it had bitten the dust. What the hell are the Japs thinking...? Beelzebub was awesome but got axed due to Japs not liking it enough later on. Same thing here with Mx0. The mangaka for both had really planned their entire manga out and had a grand scheme. Just really sad to see them get crushed. :/

That said, I give it an 8.5/10. So, that's a 9 on MAL. The 3 botched-up ending the mangaka had to come up for the last 3 chapters was shit. Shame on Jump.

Gonna start Bonnouji now.

I have finally finished Gunslinger Girl after about 2 whole damn months.

To write sufficiently about it, I'm gonna have to write a big-ass review which I don't want to so, I'm not gonna.
So, a lot of things happen during the course of the manga. A hell lot. It's not even random. And the story is overly serious so you can bet your ass that there is no comedy. There are a few light moments in between though.
The pacing is quite slow. It took at least 5 volumes to establish the whole plot (still leaves out important details for later) and talk about the entire character set. And even then my favorite Fratello (cyborg girl and handler) pair doesn't appear until after the 7th or so volume. That means the story slowly establishes itself until the final battle that takes 3 whole volumes.
Contains a couple of feels. Characters aren't one-dimensional. Can be a confusing at times with all the Italian political chit chat.
8/10. Recommended if you want politics mixed in with your story.

Shaman King is next.

Done with Bonnouji.

This was a really fun and sweet manga. No over-sensitive hyper love bullshit here. It's just a tale of how two people and fell in love. Simple as that. No problems, no worries, angsty crying crap. But it was also kinda deep, I guess. Subtly hinting at things (again, I think... I may be over-thinking).
The comedy was great and the relaxed art style really gives it a free flowing personality. And it's succinctly short.
The only thing that troubled me is that I wanted to see a bit more after the events of the ending. Anywho, it's a great manga and it's really funny and properly short for those who can't read long pieces. 8.5/10. Definitely recommended.

Reading Fruits Basket now.

Finished The Breaker few days ago. Now, that manga was epic! Thanks to Atik for amazing suggestion. ^^

MC's the guy who was always bullied by his classmates. When new English sungsengnim appeared, things have gotten better for him. From there all fights started. :D It's all about martial arts in this one, with subtle.. romance plot, you could say it. Amazing art. One thing though, from time to time it seemed to me like authors dragged plot too much - kinda pointless discussions every now and then, but yet again, it's what made this manga amazing. ^^

Reading sequel at the moment, and it's getting better as I progress. To make it better, there will be a 2nd sequel as well. ^^ You can get all chapters on A-Team's site.

Started reading Orange Marmalade - manhwa about romance between vampire and human. What's funny is that vamps here survive on pig's blood. ^^ Hehe
Good so far.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso

I wept softly as I read the last chapter. What started out humorous ended up being a ride on a roller coaster of emotions. If you read the manga or watch the anime you already know the ending, but that won't stop the tears. Honestly the last time I wept like this was Clannad After Story, and you know how bad that was.
