It's crazy seeing main characters go on their own paths away from the main story. But it adds reality to the show and I really appreciate that. Often times you always expect a happy ending or for a group to stick together throughout the show. Only way things break up is if someone dies. But this episode stuck with me different. Things change. It's sad, and hard at times, but humans wouldn't evolve or grow without it.

Sad to see Ed go. I know that Faye will be back though, as the next episode preview kind of spoiled it.

it seemed a slow episode and then it has become almost a tearjerker, especially with such a great song playing in the background (seriously, always been a personal favorite from the OST). The surviving crew members returning just the two of them, even more humanity for Faye's backstory, Ed and Ein parting ways in pair. What a great, great series.

personally felt that since talking about food and being hungry has been a recurring theme and motivation to hunt for bounties in the series eating all those eggs was a bitter catharsis for Spike and Jet: for once they had all they could eat but finding that it wasn't satisfactory when the others were gone. Things hit hardest when you don't recognise them at first just like Spike and Jet probably didn't want to admit that they felt genuinely sad to lose their companions. Also, it is fitting for the second to last episode that now when they don't have 5 mouths to feed and less of a reason to hunt for bounties the series can be wrapped up.

After "a mental breakdown" 24th episode wasn't found bad, i wouldn't it's that great as those who already have 4, but a lotta things happened in this episode, really a filled episode (not filler), Ed found his "hood", Spike got his a$$ kicked out for the 1st time by Ed's father💀💀(and bro doesn't even know his kid is boy or girl💀💀)

Faye's been trying to find her "maidenhood"(idk), and she did find a classmate, btw the V I B E(the sun's rays are reflected in the water, the shower scene, Earth, the garden when Faye encountered her classmate and etc.) Some moments made me laugh(cool tho), Ed left the crew(with da dog☹️) and Faye just took a nap amidst the desert💀

Overall not a bad episode, only 2 left, almost said goodbye to this TV showwwwwW

p.s /s the real folk bluees hontono

p.p.s i see this is the most high-rated episode, i might know why it is, i actually forgot to mention the fact of music within da episode(rock)

Beautiful, visceral, real episode. Sometimes things just end how they're meant to, whether we want them to or not.

Ok Faye finally remembers her past. Ed as well has a father and we see him. Ed leaves with Ein so I guess it's just the two of them again. Jet and Spike. I guess things are finally wrapping up. Only 2 more episodes.

Also honestly they finally got food enough for all of them but only Spike and jet to eat all the eggs. Never thought a scene of two dudes stuffing themselves with eggs could mean so much.

The crew is falling apart, and it feels inevitable. Every lost soul that drifted onto the Bebop is now finding their own way, whether they want to or not.

Ed, the one who never seemed to take anything seriously, found her home—or at least, the remnants of it. She left just as easily as she came, no dramatic send-off, no clinging to something broken. She was a child, unburdened by the past, untouched by the weight of regret. The only one who was ever truly free.

Faye? She found her home too, but it wasn’t the warm, nostalgic place she hoped for. Nothing was left. Just a cruel reminder that the past can’t be reclaimed. She returns to the Bebop, but for what? The ship is already empty. Jet is just waiting for something to hold onto, and Spike is chasing a ghost.

And Ein… he knew. He followed Ed, because even a dog could sense that the Bebop wasn’t home anymore.

This wasn’t an explosive episode, no grand battles or high-stakes fights. It was quiet. It was loss.

The previous episode was already marvelous, but this one? It managed to surpass ep. 23, in my opinion. Very emotional main theme. Faye remembered her past; Ed found her dad. Both of them decided to leave the crew. Ein left as well, as it followed Ed. I'm gonna miss them. Sure, they were annoying at times, but they made the whole Cowboy Bebop's team more diverse and entertaining during various missions.
